I love reading storied like these, so I decided to make one myself. :D Enjoy.
The casts of So Random! and Mackenzie Falls were half listening to Ms. Bitterman's lesson, too bored and preoccupied with themselves. . . Well, except for Zora and Ferguson, who were all ears.
"Class, for our next project, you are going to be partnered up with someone from the other cast and you will be acting like a married couple. Except for Zora and Ferguson, because they will be helping me grade my papers." Ms. Bitterman announced, receiving groans from everyone in the room, except for Zora and Ferguson, who were grinning like crazy. Ms. Bitterman shot them a glare and everyone started mumbling about the said project with fake enthusiasm.
"Boys, line up here in front and choose your partner. And, you two will be together for 3 months." The guys did as told and lined up in front horizontally.
"Nico, who will be your partner?"
"Penelope." He said without any hesitation, smirking at the chosen girl. Ms. Bitterman then motioned for him to stand behind Penelope, much to her dismay.
"Grady?" He was in an awkward thinking position before making his decision.
"Um. . . Chloe." He said, pointing at the blushing blonde. Once again, Ms. Bitterman nodded and motioned for him to stand behind her.
"Skylar?"
" Um. . . Tawni. Sonny's all yours, bro." Skylar said to Chad, who was now blushing as red as a tomato. Ms. Bitterman chuckled then nodded.
"Chad, that leaves you with Sonny." Ms. Bitterman explained, writing down the names of the couples on her clipboard.
"Now, you will pass this fishbowl around then pick one. This will determine your job." All of them nodded then the fish-less fishbowl was passed around until it landed on Sonny.
"Singer. Sweet!" Tawni just looked at her in jealousy for the job she picked out was architect. The fishbowl was then passed to Chad. A small smile graced his lips when his eyes scanned the paper.
"Actor! Haha, suckaz!" he bragged while using one of his weird facial expressions. Everyone rolled their eyes then the job hunt continued. Some were lucky, picking out the jobs they wanted, but some just weren't.
"By the way, I've already talked to all of your parents and all of them agreed of the girls staying over the guy's house."
"What!" Sonny screamed, standing up from her seat." This cannot be possible! There must be a misunderstanding. Mom would never approve of this!"She argued. Chad looked hurt and disappointed that she doesn't want to be with him.
"Actually, Mrs. Munroe was the most approving of parents. She even had your clothes brought in this morning." Ms. Bitterman explained then pulling out three yellow suitcases from behind her desk. Sonny was clearly embarrassed to she just sat down and slid down her chair in shame. A few snickered and giggled, but Chad shot them all a death glare and the room quickly grew silent. Ms. Bitterman opened her mouth to speak but her watch beeped, signaling the end of class. Everyone got out of the classroom two by two, already starting the assignment. Sonny walked to the front of the room and got one of her already packed suitcases. Chad went in front of her and took two of the three bags.
"Thanks." Sonny mumbled to him and she got a genuine smile in return. They walked towards Sonny and Tawni's dressing room, and Chad put her bags aside.
"So, when do you end shooting?" Chad asked his "wife", breaking the awkward silence.
"At seven. Why?"
"Pick you up later here. See ya later, wifey." Chad joked. Sonny giggled and decided to play along with his game.
"Okay. See ya later, hubby." Sonny returned, kissing his cheek and walking out of the room, leaving Chad there in the room in total shock and ecstasy.
Chad's POV
I totally love this assignment. Sonny just called me her husband and she kissed my cheek! Wait, what are you getting excited about? It's just a little kiss. A little peck on the cheek.
I was walking towards the Mackenzie Falls set until I realized that I still haven't fixed her room. I know I have a guest room, but I want to customize it to Sonny's liking. She is my "wife", after all.
Sonny's POV
Rehearsals went great, and I was really thankful for that. I was walking back to my dressing room and I saw Tawni and Skylar sitting on the leopard print couch facing each other. I just ignored them and I went over to my vanity. I sat down and since I was just waiting for Chad to pick me up, I decided to listen to their conversation.
"Okay, okay, now you go first." Tawni said with a little too much enthusiasm.
"I" Skylar started, holding both of Tawni's hands.
"Love"
"You!" They said at the same time, laughing like crazy. What is this? They're just copying Barbie and Ken in Toy Story 3. At first I thought it was cute, but it went on for ten minutes until it became really annoying. Chad finally came in and a sense of relief came over me. I sprinted towards him and hugged him tight.
"Thank goodness you're here. I can't bear one more second of this." I told him, quickly grabbing one of my suitcases and dashing out of the door. I heard him laugh from behind me and I saw him take my other two suitcases. We walked towards his car and I got in the passenger's seat while he was putting my suitcases in the trunk. He closed the trunk and walked to the driver's seat. Before I knew it, we hit the road.
"What's your favorite color?"
"Yellow." I replied coolly, thankful that I didn't blurt out my other favorite color, which was blue.
"Favorite animal?"
"Dog. Definitely dog."
"Favorite sport?"
"Basketball and golf." He looked at me with disbelief. Oh, you are getting it, Cooper.
"What? You think a girl can't play sports?" I questioned him.
"No, no. I just thought you were one of those girly-girls that all they know is make-up."
"Well, now you can think different, because I can whip your butt at golf."
"Oh, you're on." Chad told me, chuckling. He continued with his little questionnaire.
"So, favorite food?"
"I don't know. I don't think I have one." Chad nodded his head in understanding.
"Favorite store?"
"Um. . . Forever 21 and Zara. Oh, why are you asking me all of these questions?"
"Let's just say that I want to get to know my 'wife' a little bit more." I blushed at that statement. He pulled over at a two-storey, 4 room house. It was my turn to look at him with disbelief. I thought he had a huge mansion? Well, that's what I thought, anyway.
"You live here?" I asked him. He nodded his head.
"Yeah. We didn't really need a mansion because we didn't really need all the extra space." He informed me. I simply nodded my head. He took two of my suitcases and I took one and he led me inside. Everything felt so homey, minus the knick-knacks. He set the suitcases by the couch and he whispered in my ear, "You are going to love this."
"Misty!" Chad yelled. A few seconds later, I heard footsteps-no, pitter-patters, from the stairs. A blonde haired little girl ran up to Chad as fast as her little legs could carry her. Chad smiled and picked her up, kissing her cheeks.
"Hi daddy. I miss you!" She told Chad, wrapping her arms around his neck. I felt a pang of jealously hit me. He has a daughter.
"I miss you too, sweetheart. Here, I'll introduce you to someone." Chad told the little girl in his arms. She nodded and looked at me.
"Sonny, this is my sister, Misty. Misty, this is Sonny." Relief flooded over me. I waved at misty but she just reached for me. I took her from Chad and she wrapped her arms around my neck. Chad whispered to me, "hugger." I nodded my head in understanding. A woman then approached us from upstairs.
"Mr. Cooper, I'll be going now." Chad nodded and got out his wallet and pulled out a twenty.
"Thanks. So, what did she do today? Was she any trouble?" Chad asked her. Somehow, he sounded like a daddy. Misty was still in my arms, playing with my hair. She tangled her finger in my black locks, then untangling it, then repeating the process again.
"She was the perfect angel. She ate when told, and just colored and read books. She wasn't any trouble at all, except when she was running around the house." Chad nodded his head before the woman left the house. I walked up to him.
"Um, who was she?" I asked him, handing Misty to Chad. She was in his arms but she looked like she was about to cry. She reached out for me and I quickly took her from him. She smiled and started playing with my hair again. I'm guessing she likes me.
"She's was Misty's babysitter. Mom and dad died a year ago, so I was kinda stuck playing daddy for a while." Aww! I never knew Chad had it this hard.
"I'm so sorry."
"Nah, it wasn't your fault. Plus, she was pretty young that time, so she didn't really remember them. And, that was also the reason why she just called me daddy." I nodded my head in understanding. I put Misty down on the floor and I took one of my suitcases while Chad took two. He led me upstairs while Misty was trailing close behind. He led me to a room with a big S on the door. I opened the door and I saw pale yellow walls and a huge white 4 poster bed with awhile netted canopy. Chad set the suitcases on the bed.
"Do you like it? I mean, we could always have changes, and-" I cut him off.
"No need. It's perfect. Thanks Chad!" I told him, putting down my suitcases on the floor and jumping on the bed, with Misty joining me a few seconds later. Chad chuckled and caught Misty in mid-air.
"Nice catch." I complemented him.
"Thanks. Get settled in later. You hungry?"
"Starved." I answered him. He nodded his head.
"How 'bout you, baby girl? You hungry too?" Chad cooed to Misty. Misty nodded her head, with her curly pigtails bobbing up and down. I went downstairs with Chad and Misty. He handed Misty to me and he went to the kitchen, putting on an apron and going around the kitchen without difficulty.
"Need any help?" Judging from the bowties he got out from the pantry, I'm guessing we're having pasta for dinner.
"Nah. Just go with Misty to the TV room." I nodded and I went to the TV room with Misty in my arms. I sat down on the black leather couch and I set her on my lap. I think Chad is taking this assignment a little too seriously. I mean, sure, over the years, he has been like my best guy friend, but I think he just wants a good grade, that's all. Yeah, that must be it.
"So, tell me more about daddy." I asked her in a sweet tone, using her nickname for Chad, since "brother" might possibly confuse her.
"Um, he good, and kind, and, um, he buys me lots of stuffs!" she said, stretching out her arms to emphasize the word "lots".
"Really? He must be really good if he does that." She nodded her head.
"Mm-hmm. But me don't get to see him always. He always at work." She sulked. Wait, I'm not shooting or anything, I'll take her! I'll just tell Chad tomorrow.
"Misty, how about you come with me and daddy at work tomorrow?" her face practically lit up and wrapped her arms around my neck. Poor little girl, stuck at home with the nanny all day.
"Yay! Thank you Sonny!"
"No problem, baby girl." I cooed to her, making her giggle.
"Um, Sonny?"
"Yeah?"
"Sonny, you my new mommy?" What the Hegel?
"What made you think of that?" I asked her. She just looked down.
"Um. . . me don't gots a mommy." She told me. I'll just ask Chad about this later. He called us for dinner, and I picked Misty up and I went to the dining table, setting her on the chair beside me. Chad placed the piping hot bowties on the table and sat down on his chair. I placed some on my place and some on Misty's. We ate in comfortable silence.
"Chad, can we take Misty tomorrow to the studios? I don't have any shootings tomorrow so I'm free to watch her." I told him. He just nodded his head. We finished eating and we went to the TV room to rest for a while. Funny how I know where everything is without Chad giving me a tour. Misty was on the floor watching Blue's Clues on the television while me and Chad were on the couch.
"Chad?" I nudged him. He looked at me and gave me his full attention since we really weren't interested in what Misty was watching.
"Misty asked me if I was her mommy."I told him with a hit of worry in my voice.
"Sonny, is it ok if you let her call you that? Just for now. She's had quite a life, with mom and dad out of the picture." I understood what he was talking about. I just nodded my head. A few minutes later, I saw Misty walk up to me while rubbing her eyes.
"You sleepy, baby girl?" I cooed to her. She nodded her head. I picked her up and she simply rested her head on my shoulder. I stood up and I saw Chad do the same.
"Chad, where's her room?" I asked him. He took Misty from me, careful not to wake her up. He went upstairs and opened a white door with yellow flowers on it. He set her on her bed and planted a small kiss on her forehead. I smiled at his warm gesture. It was getting a bit late, might as well sleep now. I walked up to Misty's sleeping figure, and I brushed her hair from her face, and then kissed her forehead.
"Good night, Misty." I whispered to her. I regained my posture and walked out from Misty's bedroom.
"Where's my good night kiss?" Chad said from behind me. I rolled my eyes. I walked back and kissed his cheek. I swore I saw a blush on his cheeks.
"Good night, Chad."
"Good night, Sonny." I walked to my room, washed myself, changed into my pajamas and got under the covers. The minute my head hit the pillow, sleep took over me.
As I said, I love reading these kind of stories, so I decided to make one myself. We don't have this kind of class here from where I am, but I think I know enough. :D Please do read and review. God Bless!
