Two Worlds Helping Each Other

Chapter One

The Teen Titans were enjoying the time off since Slade had not been heard from in several months. They were each doing their own thing; Raven was meditating, Cyborg was checking his programming (pretty routine since Beast Boy accidentally gave him that virus), Beast Boy was on the treadmill, changing animals every so often to check his speed, and Robin, Starfire, and Cardinal (Robin's twin sister) were sparring. Starfire was shooting Starbolts at her while she fought Robin. Today was Cardinal's first day as a Titan, and Robin wanted to see if she had gained any extra skills since he left about six months ago.

All of a sudden, the Trouble Alert sounded and the Titans left the training room and headed toward Ops.

As soon as they reached Ops, Robin started typing on the computer.

"What's up?" Cyborg questioned as Robin continued to type, and then an image came up on the big screen.

"Plasmus is attacking the city, and looks like his path will take him to the nuclear power plant." Robin stated as they continued to watch the screen. "Titans, Go."

With that command, the group left out.

The team arrived outside the nuclear power plant just as Plasmus was heading over the hill near the plant. Plasmus saw them and became enraged. He went toward Robin and Cyborg first. The two dodged and Starfire hit him with 3 Starbolts. Raven then grabbed part of the fence around the power plant and wrapped it around the creature.

The fence did not hold him for long as he began to ooze out of it. As he began to reform himself, Cardinal got up close enough to hit Plasmus with a fireball, but she did not see his hand coming.

"Um, guys, help." Cardinal shouted as she began to struggle to get free.

"Titans, hold off." Robin shouted when he heard his sister's voice.

The team then got into a huddle.

"What are we going to do?" Beast Boy asked as he was about to panic.

"I have an idea." Robin said as he motioned for the team to come in closer.

Cardinal was still in her predicament and struggling to get free.

"Titans, get ready." Robin said as the huddle broke.

Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy ran toward Plasmus. Cyborg was using his sonic cannon, Beast Boy had changed into a Kangaroo and was kicking him like there was no tomorrow, and Robin was throwing his exploding discs at him.

With all these attacks, Plasmus was loosening his grip on the young heroine he was holding. Raven then saw her opportunity and used her power to pry Plasmus's hand open. Cardinal was able to slide out, and was caught by Starfire. The two landed near Raven and waited to see what the next move was.

"Starfire, blast him, Cardinal, you too." Robin shouted.

"Right." Both girls said as they readied their attacks.

The two then fired and the attacks hit Plasmus, and he went down. Something then happened that none of them were expecting. When the two attacks collided, a dimensional rip was created, and the Titans were all sucked in.

The tree house was quiet, and there has been no major adult tyranny activity, so the kids were doing their own things. All of a sudden, there was a disturbance when an operative from the moon base headquarters came on the transmission screen.

"This is Numbuh 65.3 contacting Sector V. The are reports of six teenagers having arrived out of nowhere and are outside The Delightful Children From Down The Lane's mansion. Go and stop them from joining Father's teenage army." The operative said.

We'll leave immediately; Kids Next Door, battle stations." The boy in a red shirt and sunglasses ordered and the team left.
