Hey folks! Hope you're all doing well :)
This story is only being used as a hobby- so if I have time, a second chapter will come up. I hope you all like it, because it's the life side of Sonic and Amy, and how they cope with things. Now you might find some characters in this story that you don't like, and that's fair enough cause...some of them I dont like either :P
Now I do not own any Sonic Characters, this also includes Flash, Violet and Dash because these too are also used alot in Family stories like this one. So I don't own them either, but I do own their looks ;) I was inspired to do this story by my favourite author Ksonic. Reading their stories are so amazing and after reading the Hero;Husband;and Father...I enjoyed it so much that I decided to pick up ideas of my own. This is not a copy either- this is my own version of a family life style. So I hope you all enjoy :)
Characters-
Sonic the hedgehog
Amy Rose the hedgehog
Sheila the porcupine
Chapter One
Knowing the Knowing!
"Amy Rose! Come back here now!" Sonic shouted, stamping his foot. Tails and Cream gulped, sinking into the sofa as they watched the pink angry female charge up the stairs full with flames. It was silent after. Sonic had went into the kitchen to make his own chilly dogs since Amy didn't bother coming down and making them for him. Tails and Cream were in the living room watching TV quietly even though they could still feel the tension in the air. "Do you think Amy's ok?" Cream asked sweetly, holding Cheese to her chest. Tails shrugged. "She's a big girl now Cream...I think she's fine" As soon as the answer was replied, footsteps were heard. As the 2 younger ones turned they saw Amy standing still, eyes glued to the TV. "Hi Amy" they greeted but she just shook her head and grabbed her coat before walking out of the house with a huge temper. Tails looked at Cream sadly, noticing Sonic walk into the room holding a plate full of chillydogs.
"Grumpy pants" he laughed, sitting down next to Cream. Tails turned slowly. "Don't you guys make up? Be nice to each other?" he asked. Sonic shook his head as he bit into his chilly dog. Cream looked down in surprise. "But you are engaged? Lovers?" she whispered in shock. Sonic shrugged, swallowing with a choke. "Pfft...we have our moments" Tails nodded. "Bet you do" Sonic smirked. "Hey buddy, don't be like that" he mumbled, chopping down another chilly dog. Cream stood up grabbing Cheese and her bag. "I'm gonna go and find Amy, she's probably really upset right now" the rabbit whimpered, running off out of the house. Tails got up and followed. "Cya Sonic" they called out as they left. Sonic rolled his eyes. "Ok Bye"
This was, what couples' called a lovers tiff moment. And for Sonic and Amy- this was one of these times. Amy was a careful loving female, one out of many that were the caring type. She worked outside of her home in a respectful primary school called Home Castle Primary School as a English teacher for children ages 4 to 11. She was always so formally dressed, in her black silk skirt and her white blouse top and maybe even her black blazer over top if it was chilly. She was loved by everyone around her but most of all, her fiancé who couldn't help but stare into her gem green eyes. He would always try and spend time with his beloved- whenever he could. Still protecting the world as a hero of the universe and all, made him lose that time which could only hurt the feelings of Amy. She didn't like being alone all the time and wanted to start a family. So she could have someone to love and to hold while he wasn't around. But Sonic suggested to wait a little while longer, after they were married.
That evening everything was silent. Sonic sat on the sofa in front of the fire, holding a chaos emerald that he had found earlier that day. Waiting patiently for Amy to return home, he sat still, hungry and tired. The wind blew from outside the house, creating a 'whooshing' sound echo inside. This only made Sonic colder as he slouched forward to collect the heat from the fireplace.
"Ring…Ring" Sonic twitched slightly as he stared at the buzzing phone that made an annoying repeating sound. Rolling his eyes with boredom, he answered the phone, holding it close to his ear. "Hello?" his voice was calm and still, waiting for the reply on the other end but it stayed silent. Sonic scratched his head as the line soon became dead leaving a beeping sound that repeated itself over and over again. The phone stayed in his hand, gripping it tighter as he crushed it back to its stand. "Stupid phone" he growled to himself, laying back down to his previous position in front of the fire. It was then when he heard a continuous bang from the upstairs landing, where his ears perked up and his hands shaked. Not knowing if anyone was there, he crept up from his sofa and stepped up each step, trying his hardest to stay silent.
Making his way to the top of the staircase, he eyed around seeing nothing but darkness. The banging had stopped now leaving him alone. Switching the light on from the side, he stood perfectly still as if waiting for something to jump out. "Whose there?" he called, trying to show no fear. He waited without a sound, twiggling constantly with his fingers. Hearing a quiet sound come from downstairs, he slid down the banister and aimed at the front door. His heart pounded with anger and fright, watching the doorknob turn round slowly before swinging the door open. Sonic growled, with his spikes struck up along with his stern expression as he pounced at the intruder making him land to the cold windy waves of the icy ground. "Sonic, what are you doing?"
The blue hedgehog looked up at the female who spoke and blushed red, staring at the pink hedgehog who stood in the door way with her brown fluffy coat that sheltered her body from the cold. But she wasn't alone, in fact she was standing with one of her closest friends who only glared with disgust. The white porcupine with her stomach poked out from her actual figure, only stared at Sonic then looked over at Amy with confusion.
"Amy dear, I honestly don't know why you're with him…" she grumbled, walking into the home. Amy sighed with disappointment, looking at her fiancé before shaking her head and following her porcupine friend inside. "Sorry Sheila" Amy murmured as she unzipped her warm coat, hanging it on the coat rack. The white porcupine shook her head, rubbing her tummy with ease.
"No need to be sorry my dear, they just need training like my husband Reuben" she replied, smiling deeply into the warm blazing fire. Amy nodded her head, still in doubt of her and Sonic.
"Want any tea, Sheila?" she wondered, holding out the hot kettle. The porcupine nodded her head then growled at the open front door.
"Amy, could you close the door…it's letting in cold air" she muttered, shattering her teeth.
"Of course" she whispered, walking over to the front door where Sonic still laid, glaring inside the warm home. He took one glance at her before, watching the door close; leaving him to freeze alone outside. He couldn't help but get up and stare into the window where Amy and Sheila sat, on the other side of the glass-talking and laughing in front of the fireplace with hot steaming tea in their hands. This made him feel jealously in the pit of his stomach as he watched Sheila eye him from the window. "Who does she think she is! Coming into MY house, drinking MY tea from MY kitchen, in front of MY fire!" he snapped.
Sonic never liked Sheila, since the day Amy met her in for the first time outside the tiny café near the Home Castle Primary School. He hated her look- how she wore so much make-up that you couldn't barely see her own face, her clothes- they looked so tight and relieving that you couldn't never believe that she was actually married, her attitude- it was so appalling and rude that it made even Rouge think twice, her ways of life were just too much for Sonic to handle, in fact he felt sorry for her husband who had to put up with her every day for the rest of his life.
She was dirty, rude and nasty, which made Sonic burn everything she touched when she visited the house. She always thought she was better than everyone else, just because she was the President's sister. Yes, Sheila Mason was the Mayor's sister. Although Sonic had always got along with President Johnson quite well. Every time he saved the town- he was always invited to the President's home. The White House. And always enjoyed a pleasant chat while eating the finest turkey leg throughout Mobius.
Just thinking of the hot tasty turkey leg made him drool. Standing outside in the cold wind, he didn't even have a coat to keep him warm. The only thing that kept him warm was his blue finely cut trousers which only covered half of his body. Leaving his chest, stomach, arms and head to freeze.
While inside, was a different story. Amy was causally waiting for Sonic to walk into the house, but he never did. So she began to talk to her friend who was staring at the window, watching a blue figure wander around outside. "You would thought, he would have some sense…don't you think dear?" Sheila mumbled as she sipped her tea. Amy sighed nodding her head. "Well he can be clever you know…when he wants to be. After all, he has saved the world on a number of occasions"
Sheila coughed slightly, quietly mumbling to herself as she sipped her tea once more.
"Amy-Amy-Amy, don't be so foolish. Just look at the buffoon. Sitting around in the cold with hardly anything on. When he could just walk into the house where it's warm"
The pink hedgehog stood up silently, stepping to the front door. This made Sheila roll her eyes at Amy's kindness watching her open the door, letting the cold air in.
"Sonic, you're freezing…come on inside" she ordered, stepping aside for her fiancé to enter. He looked at her with confusion, standing up before walking closer towards her.
"Amy! You should let him think for himself- don't do it for him!" Shelia shouted, growling as the blue hedgehog walked in with Amy followed behind. She shut the door closed and smiled warmly at the hedgehog only to receive a silent nod as he walked up the stairs, completely ignoring their 'guest'.
"See Amy dear…he doesn't care. I rather him outside in the cold where he will learn a lesson" she snapped. Amy only shrugged at this, stepping up the steps to the master bedroom. "I'll be back in a minute" she called down, as she walked into the bedroom where Sonic sat gazing up at the ceiling. He laid firmly on the bed, with his eyes brightly open as if he was shocked. "Sonic, do you want some tea?" she asked him sweetly. But the hedgehog didn't answer. "Sonic…"
The sighs of the sad blue hog only echoed as he felt the female rest her head on his chest while lying next to him, with her hands tightly around his body. He admitted he enjoyed her warm hugs, especially on a cold day, so he wrapped his strong muscular arms around her petite body then kissed her forehead calmly.
"Do you want some tea?" Amy asked again, making Sonic shake his head. "No thanks- I want that thing downstairs to leave first" he replied, deeply.
Amy sighed. She knew he hated Sheila, and she also knew that Sheila wasn't fond of Sonic either. But she tried her hardest to make everyone equal in every way she could.
"She came round to keep me company…" Amy began but Sonic stopped her. "I'm here though, you have company- she can go home" This made Amy roll her eyes as she stood up from his grip, jumping off the bed and to the door.
"Your never with me unless it suits you…face it. You're only here because your off duty!" she snapped, slamming the door close behind her. Sonic gulped slowly. He never meant for his job to seem so hard work, yet it never always took more than 3 hours…maybe 4. He worked along the team- Tails, Knuckles and even Shadow. They were his friends as well as his team members. They had to collect things from villains around the world, they had to travel into space and rescue people who were stranded. Heck, he even had to fight a lot of powerful villains in order to either stay alive or protect the world. Yet to Amy, that never mattered to her. She would rather him let the world blow up just so she could have him. To be with him for at least a day- which never happened unless she was really lucky.
As Amy stomped down the stairs with anger, Sheila was already waiting for her to cry into her arms like a tiny child begging for toys. Her arms were stretched open allowing Amy to jump in and burst into tears.
"Don't worry dear, there always the same"
