A pair of mismatched orbs stared emptily at the white wall in front of them.
The nights we spent together were unforgettable.
"My lord," a smooth voice purred out. Ciel's cheeks instantly reddened, and he turned his face away from Sebastian. "W-what?" The demon let out a soft chuckle. A hand reached out and clutched Ciel's chin, turning his gaze back at Sebastian. "You're the only human who has ever kept me so entranced," Sebastian murmured before catching Ciel in a kiss.
Ciel shut his eyes as he felt Sebastian slip his tongue into his mouth. The said man smirked behind the kiss and let his tongue travel everywhere, tasting what could only be purely Ciel. Ciel felt Sebastian push him down on the bed they were sitting on and he opened his eyes. Ciel watched as Sebastian slowly removed his jacket, and his shirt, along with his tie followed afterwards. The smirking demon then proceeded to unbutton Ciel's nightshirt.
In a matter of seconds, Ciel was mostly bare, excluding his underwear. Sebastian bent his head down and nipped gently at Ciel's neck causing a small moan to come from Ciel's mouth. He then trailed kisses down Ciel's body until he reached the front of Ciel's member. Blushing, Ciel moved his arms up so that they were covered his eyes. Ciel opened his eyes and he quickly noticed that he was in murky waters, being held by Sebastian. However something in Sebastian's eyes didn't look right, there was a certain look in them that Ciel has never seen the demon direct towards him before. Suddenly, Ciel's eyes widened as a sharp pain shot through his body and he felt his body go limp with pain.
He choked up blood, and looked down. Sebastian had stabbed his hand through his stomach, tearing right through his skin. The red liquid swirled around his small body, surrounding him in a sea of blood. However, he felt Sebastian drag him limp body up from the waters and drop him on a wooden boat.
The pain had dulled out from his stomach, but an unfamiliar pain lingered in his chest. He rubbed his stomach and watched as the skin slowly repaired itself. He felt Sebastian climb onto the boat and he put on a fake smile. "What a greeting you gave me. You tried to kill me before I awakened as a demon?" "No. I felt I had to check for certain whether you had really awakened as a demon," Sebastian replied.
Lies. Ciel could see it in Sebastian's eyes. It was full of contempt, for him. Sebastian had tried to kill Ciel because he didn't want to end up serving another demon for eternity. Although Ciel didn't want to acknowledge it, the fact that Sebastian did that cause his heart to flutter with pain. He felt his throat get tight as he continued showing the false smirk, "I see."
Yet you did.
Ciel leaned back on his pillow, and he called out, "Sebastian."
Instantly, the demon opened the door of Ciel's new room. He walked in wearing his usual black attire with an emotionless look on his face, "Yes, my lord?" Ciel stared at him for a minute before adopting a fake grin and asking the question that has been plaguing his thoughts for weeks. "You hate me don't you?"
However, Sebastian didn't reply and stared blankly at Ciel. The younger demon felt his heart thud heavily, I know the answer already, why am I still asking? Both demons looked at each other before Ciel opened his mouth again. "Answer me Sebastian!" he commanded, glaring.
Sebastian looked down at Ciel's small form and answered tonelessly, "Yes."
Ciel's facade quickly dropped, and his thoughts were confirmed. "You may leave," he choked out. Sebastian's emotionless expression faltered for a second, but he quickly regained his composure. He bowed down briefly before turning around. He exited the room and shut the door behind him. Sebastian was about to exit the hallway that Ciel's room was located in until he heard a soft sob that no human would have been able to hear.
He paused in his tracks, did he just hear a sob coming from Ciel's room? Sebastian quietly walked back, making sure he didn't make any noise and pressed his ear against the door. This time he was close enough to smell tears inside the room.
Ciel vision blurred as small tears dripped down from eyes. The tears splatted on his white sheets, staining them wet. He quickly moved his hands up to wipe the tears away. What was wrong with him? He didn't cry with his aunt died. He didn't cry when he left everyone he knew behind. He didn't mourn for his parents after he went back to the mansion.
Why was he mourning for a demon? Perhaps it's because I placed all my trust in him...and he was the only one who loved me no matter how cold I was. Now it's over, Ciel thought. Ciel's bedroom door opened up slightly but he didn't notice, and continued to cry quietly. Suddenly, Ciel felt himself wrapped in warm, familiar, arms. "Sebastian?"
Ciel looked down at the familiar ebony hair and the face that has slept next to his for countless nights. "Young master, I've been acting neglectful to you, haven't I?" Sebastian asked caressing Ciel's tear stained face. Ciel smiled weakly, "A little, but it's not your fault. You completed your part of the contract, I broke mine."
Sebastian felt his heart flutter, how could he forget? There was a reason why he loved Ciel. "I'll be by your side for eternity. I love you, and I'm sorry that I treated you like this." He leaned in and kissed Ciel gently. The two stared at each other longingly. "Ciel, let's start over," Sebastian murmured. The reply? Ciel wrapped his arms around Sebastian and pressed his lips onto Sebastian's blushing. "I love you."
