The story takes place in the valley at night with the stars and the full moon. Everything was quiet in the dark valley.

Titanic Disaster's Toy Story 2
We then see something flying in the sky and in the valley. It was none other than Spyro. He flew to the mountains and flew at high speed. He then landed in the wide open area in the mountains and looked around sternly.
"Malefor's lair should be anywhere in the mountains," Spyro said. "This is getting creepy especially at night, and I don't see any intelligent life anywhere."
Spyro suddenly got his words eaten when the Rhynocs appeared from their hiding spots. The Rhynocs are preparing to attack. Quickly, Spyro unleashed his electricity breath at the Rhynocs, destroying all of them at once.
Spyro took off and arrived at the hole of the mountain at the top. "This has to be an entrance to Malefor's lair," he said to himself. He walked in the mountain, but the tunnel was dark, and he suddenly fell through the hole and screamed. When he landed on the ground, the torches lit up by themselves, and without wasting time, he ran down the cave, and someone was waiting for him.
That someone was a purple dragon with a white chest and yellow eyes. He is Malefor, Spyro's enemy.
"Come to me, young dragon," Malefor said with his eyes flashing.
Inside the tunnel, Spyro turned and gasped when he saw the wall of spikes coming to him. He ran down the tunnel as fast as he could until he escaped through the closing door just in a nick of time.
Spyro spotted a floating platform with the crystal at the edge. His mate, Cynder, a black dragoness with black scales and a magenta chest with bracelets and a collar made of iron, is imprisoned in it. Seeing the bridge, he carefully went across the bridge, but when he's halfway there, the bridge suddenly broke, and he fell down as he screamed.
Flapping his wings, Spyro flew up and said, "Hang on, Cynder! I'm coming!" Landing on the platform, he approached the crystal and tried to break it with his claws, feet, and tail. "Come on, come on."
Suddenly, Malefor landed on the platform behind Spyro and said, "So, we meet again, Spyro, for the final time!"
"Not today, Malefor!" Spyro said.
Malefor unleashed his Fury Breath at Spyro, who dodged the attack and spat a fireball at him, who dodged as well.
Spyro unleashed his ice breath at Malefor, hitting him in the back, making him shiver due to cold temperature.
Malefor tried to bite Spyro with his jaws, but Spyro dodged and whacked him in the head with his tail.
Spyro spat a fireball at Malefor, and it hit him this time in the chest, making Malefor roar in pain.
"Now I'm mad!" Malefor snapped.
Malefor and Spyro unleashed their Fury Breaths at each other until they stop after a minute. Spyro flew toward Malefor at high speed, but Malefor dodged and grabbed Spyro's tail with his teeth, and he threw Spyro toward the wall. With his tail, he whacked Spyro down to the lava, and Spyro fell in the lava, which killed him when he landed in.
Malefor looked down until he laughed triumphantly at his enemy's death and defeat.
Inside Bart's room, the words "Game Over" appear on the screen of the TV. The beginning was the just the Spyro video game.
"No! No!" Hubie cried in shock. "No, I don't believe it!" He was playing the videogame, and he lost to the evil dragon.
"Darn, you almost dodged," Spyro, the toy version, said with a frown. He was watching the toy penguin play the videogame, and he gave out advice.
"I'm never gonna beat Malefor!" Hubie cried, stamping his foot on the floor.
"Sure you will, Hubie. Bart knew the game since he's good at it."
"But that's not the point," Hubie argued. "I can't press the fire button and jump at the same time."
