Above the planet known as Kuragari, Judicator Da'nur seethes. How dare Templar Re'las disobey his orders, and those of the Conclave! It was fools like Re'las, and his wanton disobedience that would bring ruin upon the Protoss. It was one short step from disobedience to becoming one of the heretical Dark Ones. Da'nur would rather see Auir in the clutches of the Zerg rather than see a Dark heretic set foot on the soil of Auir.
Re'las looks up, worried at the lack of communication from Sarel. In the centuries that she had been a Zealot, she had never once failed to report. Either there were dire circumstances that impeded her communication or… A horrifying thought seizes him. Sarel's location was near the Zerg hive. Could Zerg infest Protoss? He shudders as he looked out on the horizon. A brief, remote flare of green catches his eye. A wave of fury washes over him, catching him by surprise. Around him, the other Protoss are experiencing the same thing.
Lessa rages within her prison. A self-made prison for a self-imposed exile, but still a prison. Surrounded by cold, black stone, the crystal that contained her soul pulses green in fury. All these centuries spent, hoping a sentient race would settle on this planet. More centuries spent in an attempt to lure the intelligences she found beyond the solar system here. Making do with a psionicly inept species as her first test. And finally, when a test subject had shown a complete range of powers, her experiment was to be wasted on the whim of this Protoss? She mentally snarled, cursing the fate that had brought the Zerg here. Angrily, she sends a Zerg killing pulse out. If that moron of a Judicator tried to incinerate her planet… He would meet his maker. Quite literally, she thinks ironically.
Sorry for not updating, but the tests... Yes, the obelisk is a xel'naga in disguise. Yes, I named her Lessa.
