Life Goes On
After Edward left, Charlie finally had enough. He went and packed Bella's things up and forced her to move back to Phoenix with Renee.
Bella became better and started enjoying life. She had almost fully moved on, though she was still in love with Edward.
Her new friends and life are pretty good, until she gets an email, sending her into face her past.
Epilogue: Bella's Point of View
~Bella is Killed~
I opened my eyes. The meadow on which Edward used to bring me, our meadow, was around me. The flowers, a rainbow of colours and showering happiness; the sunlight danced on the petals, and the wind blew lightly, making the flowers and grass sway in the wind. I turned around, a cottage, no a home, stood behind me, a cheerful place, waiting to be discovered. I slowly made my way towards it, running my fingers through the long blades of grass.
As I was walking, the memories of the truck hitting my car flew into my mind. "Am I dead?" I asked out loud to nobody. A little voice from above answered 'Yes you are.' I sighed. Questions flew into my mind.
"Who are you?" I asked up looking at the sky.
A deep laugh filled the air, "I am God, Bella, this is your second chance at life, and you are in heaven."
"Life? How can this be a second chance at life?" I asked, still facing skywards.
"Because of this..." at that moment the door of the house opened.
Out of the door stepped my Edward, nothing had changed, well in appearance, except his eyes. They were a beautiful emerald green.
"E-Edward..." I breathed.
"Bella," he said back, he rubbed his eyes, obviously not believing what he was seeing.
God laughed his heavenly laugh again (A/N: See what I did there?) "You have your second chances, forever together. I shall leave you two alone to forgive, forget and make up." I felt the presence leave the meadow.
We stood awkwardly for a moment.
"Bella-"
"Edward-"
We both started at the same time. It was awkward again, obviously wanting the other to talk first. I mentally slapped myself. I still love him, its obvious, even God said it, we need to forgive, forget and make up. I forgave him long ago, even if I didn't believe it when I was alive. I can eventually forget it, in fact I have almost forgotten what he said, well what he did. God wouldn't have put us here if we weren't meant to return to how we were, if our feelings had changed.
I took a deep breath and started running. My eyes trained on my goal, my Edward. His face was surprised, but he eventually smiled and ran to met me half way. I leapt into his arms, capturing his mouth with mine. After our long passion filled kiss, we pulled apart.
"I love you," I whispered, "I am so sorry for what I did; I really didn't mean it I wasn't feeling right, I wasn't right in the head. I can make it up to-" he cut me off by placing his lips on mine again.
I melted into him. "I love you too Bella. There is nothing to forgive, it was mostly my fault anyways, forgive me love?" I smiled brightly.
"I forgave you a long, long time ago Edward," I whispered kissing him again.
I finally climbed down off of him and stood on the floor. "Come, let me show you the house." He took hold of my hand and led me in.
The house seemed to become bigger on the inside. More rooms, descent sized rooms, on the inside that what it looks like from the outside. "This is amazing," I whispered, I don't know why I whispered; I guess trying not to disrupt the peace this place had.
Edward gave me a tour of the place. It had everything that normal houses had, bathrooms, kitchens, lounge rooms, games, cars, garages, everything. We came to a door.
"Behind this door are the bedrooms," Edward said, twisting the handle.
The room was unusual to say the least, but unique; it was a circular room, spread evenly around were white doors. On each door was two names. It was in pairs:
Edward & Bella Jasper & Alice Emmett & Rose Carlisle & Esme Katrina & Brad Christi & Danny Eliza & George Rocca & Kim Darren & Keira Joey & Steph Erin & Ben Miriam & Joel
Katy & Zach Petrina & Louis Sam & Emily Jacob & April Embry & Sarah Quil & Clair Leah & Paul Seth & Ashley Brady & Georgia Collin & Mary
"Edward... What's all this?" I asked, walking around touching the carved names on the doors.
He smiled. "We all have our own separate houses, through those doors. This is our family once they all decide to join us," his arms came around and hugged me from behind.
I smiled; so many questions ran through my head. "Can I see our house? How about the others? How is this possible?" My mind switched to him when I looked at his eyes, "Are you vampire? Have you hunted? What's with your eyes?" My mind wanted answers.
Edward laughed, "Jeez slow down, one question at a time." I blushed and looked down.
His fingers brushed underneath my chin, nudging my chin up to look at him. My knees felt weak from the intensity of his green gaze. "You have a key to our house, we only have a key to our house, can't get into anyone else's house without them," he paused, "I don't know how it is possible, God created it. That's all I know." I nodded, taking everything in. He walked us towards the door.
"I am not a vampire, no hunting, no feeding, I am human again, my heart beats strong for you, I have my human eyes. I am happy, the same as you," he said pulling my hand to his lips.
"You want to use your key to open the door?" He asked, moving his hand to my waist and facing the door.
I nodded, "Where's my key?" I asked not having the slightest clue as to where I was meant to get it from.
"In your pocket," Oh, that would be a good place to start.
My fingers glided across the white sundress that fell loosely over my body, and to the pocket that was on the side. I pulled out an old style cut, gold key. Feeling giddy, I pulled it out and put it straight into the key hole, effectively opening the door. It was like a dream, a smile spread across my face, effectively staying there permanently. (A/N: The house is basically the cottage in Breaking Dawn, just imagine that OR create your own dream house for it. You will like it better if I don't describe it.)
~Time of War~
"What the hell is going on here?" an all too familiar voice yelled. The chocolate covered strawberry dropped from my hand and onto my shirt 'shoot' I thought. I picked it up ate it, and miraculously a stain wasn't left behind, 'thank heavens for that'. I got up and ran out of the house and into the meadow; Edward was close behind me. I couldn't believe what I saw.
Embry, Jared, Esme, Kim, Miriam, Danny and the one that yelled, Petrina, all stood in the middle of the meadow.
"Guys!" I screamed running towards them. I heard a variety of gasps, and people shouting my name, and people also saying Edwards. We ran and collided, hugging each other and crying at the relief and happiness of seeing each of them; why are they here? Realisation hit me. Oh shit. The partying stopped.
"You're dead?" I asked, knowing that they were, but it sounded like a question anyways.
"How? Why? Why are there so many of you?" I looked directly at Miriam.
She shook her head. "Best to tell you once we are all sitting." I nodded.
"Come with us to the house," I said, grabbing Edwards hand and leading them towards our home.
They came in and sat down; I looked at each of their faces. "Who is going to tell me what's going on? What's happened?" They looked between themselves, finally Esme stood up.
"Well you see sweet heart..." she launched into a full descriptive story of how they took on the Volturi, and they were the unlucky ones on which were murdered during the takeover. I cried tears as they each explained who killed them and how they died.
"You didn't have to do it for us," I sobbed as they sat on the couches.
"We wanted to aunty Bella," Danny's sweet voice comforted me. I sniffled.
It was quiet for a moment, everyone remembering, thinking about what had happened. Edward decided to change the mood. "Well everyone, shall we show you to your houses?" he asked standing up, clapping his hands. There were murmurs of agreement while each of us stood up and walked through to the circular joining room.
It wasn't long until they were all settled, and slowly coming back to life, well as alive as they possibly could get. Rosalie had appeared on the door step 3 days after the others had, she had explained that we won the war, the peace treaty was intact and the Denali coven was in charge. She also explained that she had begged Emmett to kill her as she was just a head and hand at one stage; she was glad to have her body back, and be human again.
God hadn't come back yet to talk to me, but we have learnt that he talks to people individually. Kim was telling us that he told her last night that some of the others were coming to join us soon, and that the others would come 8 years after. We got busy preparing to welcome our families to their new home.
"Where are we?" Rocca's deep voice echoed through the meadow, signalling that they were here. We all rushed out to meet our friends and family. They looked thoroughly surprised when we all ran towards them, but that didn't last long as mates were reunited, and families were made whole again, friends met each other again. It was happy all around. We walked to the house together.
Just a few more years and we will all be living as a whole family, in peace, in love and in happiness. Life in death will be good.
The End.
Authors Note
Thanks to everyone who has read and reviewed this story. It has been really nice getting reviews and favourites/alerts. It really makes my day. I know this story was kind of a really sucky story, but at least it took up some of my time, and creativity and hopefully adding some ideas and thoughts that you can use with your stories. I know I kind of lost track with the original story for a few chapters. Sorry about that.
I know some people don't believe in God, heck a lot of my friends don't. But I do, my belief is complicated, I am a Catholic, but I don't really believe in the bible, because the bible God sounds cruel, anyways, so anyone who doesn't believe, can pretend it's someone interesting like Jack Sparrow or Hugh Jackman as God... :D
There is a lot of people who have continuously reviewed, and people who have favourite/alerted and probably read all of the chapters, even if they haven't reviewed. I don't want to mention names because I will most likely forget someone, and I don't want that to happen. So this is to everyone who reviewed, favourite/alerted this story.
THANK YOU SOO MUCH.
I know it's a bit to ask, but for the last time in this story. Please drop a review; Even if it's a smiley face, or 'Congrats on finishing your story'. Anything will make my day.
Review :)
