Hey! Before you read this, things might not be completely accurate as it was in the book. Like Dartmouth. As far as I know, it's a college. But I don't know exactly where. So, I put it in Forks, because I really want the other human characters still there. So, please forgive me, 'cause I'm still new in the Twilight Fanfiction zone.

Bella was ready to go back to school since the Volturi fiasco was already behind them. A month later, already noticing her remarkable control from draining blood from humans, she was certain that she could go back to school. But, there was only one thing stopping her.

Renesmee.

She was only five months old, yet, she looked like a normal two year old, or a small three year old. Given her exemplary understanding and compensation of things that are way too complex for the normal child to comprehend, Bella was sure that she would be able to stay away from her mother for seven hours. If she had done it for three days, what would seven hours do to her?

But, even though she was remarkably smart, she still possessed a few traits that a human child would do. Renesmee was practically attached to Bella's hip, holding onto her like a lifeline. Every time Bella would go somewhere, Renesmee would hook her small hand to her jeans, belt, dress, or anything in reach, as long as she was touching a part of her. She demanded that Bella was the only one that'll take care of her. Almost everyone in the family offered their help, but Renesmee wouldn't have it. She was stubborn. Just like her mother.

"Renesmee, love?" Edward called for her. Today, they'll be telling her that they'll be going back to school tomorrow. She gracefully toddled her way towards her father. Edward smiled, opening out his arms and Renesmee jumped into his arms, giggling madly.

"Hey daddy." Renesmee giggled, making her proud parents smile. They've been encouraging her to talk aloud since they were helping her act more human.

"Renesmee, your momma and I want to tell you something." Renesmee's eyes widened, already jumping into conclusions. Tears started pooling and brimming in her eyes. She wriggled away from Edward's grasp and ran towards Bella, hugging her leg and slamming her face into my thigh.

"You're leaving me! Don't leave me, mommy! I just got you back; I don't want to lose you again." She wailed, tears running down her porcelain face. "Please don't leave me, mommy. Don't leave me, daddy."

"Hey, hey." Bella crooned, picking her daughter up. "Look at me. Look at me, Renesmee." Very slowly, Renesmee had to make effort in lifting her head up and looking directly into her mother's eyes. Shimmering gold and mahogany brown. Edward, in attempt to calm his daughter down, wrapped one arm around his wife's waist from behind and used his other hand to wipe away his daughter's tears.

"Listen, baby girl, we are not going to leave you. Just forget about the whole Volturi incident. They won't bother us again. It's just you, me, daddy, your uncles, aunts, Jacob, your grandparents, everyone dear to your heart. We are not going to go anywhere, alright? We promise. Now stop crying, baby girl. Shh . . ." Bella tried rocking her from side to side in attempt to calm her down. Renesmee's cries subsided as she rested her head on Bella's shoulder, nuzzling her nose into the crook of her mother's neck.

"Your momma and I, as well as your aunts and uncles, are going to go back to school tomorrow." Edward finally managed to blurt out. Renesmee looked up at her mother and pressed her tiny hand to her cheek. Why? Renesmee asked through her talent.

"We need to go back because people are starting to get suspicious. We don't look old enough to be working." Edward explained, reading his daughter's mind. "But don't worry, love. Your grandma Esme will stay at home with you and take care of you while we're here."

"I want to go to school with you, mommy." Renesmee grinned, not wanting to part away from her parents, her mother in particular. Bella smiled at her offer.

"It's not that simple as you think, Renesmee. As much as we want to take you with us, we can't. People will wonder why I have a little girl with me in college. They still don't know you." Bella explained to her daughter, but she still wouldn't have it.

"You could introduce me, mommy. Just like you did with Grandpa Charlie. I won't bite them, I promise! I don't even bite Jacob that much anymore!" They chuckled at her little revelation.

"It's not like grandpa Charlie. But I promise that we'll be thinking of you the whole time we're there." Bella promised Renesmee, and very reluctantly, she nodded her head. Bella and Edward breathed a sigh of relief.

"Love, let's go." Edward called his wife from downstairs. Bella quickly ran to Renesmee's room and whispered in her ear, "I'll be back before you know it. I love you." She kissed her warm forehead and dashed downstairs, her hand clasping with his.

"Don't fret, Bella. She'll be fine. The day will be over before you know it." Edward reassured as we both climbed into his Volvo. His hand once again found Bella's and rubbed circles around her knuckles with the pad of his thumb, kissing it occasionally as he drove.

"I hope you're right."

Dartmouth was the only college in Forks, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise-It would actually be expected-that it would be a lot like high school, with the same people as your classmates. It was illogical to enroll themselves in the middle of the school year, but then again, Dartmouth would take any student at any time of the year.

They arrived at the school with Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie waiting by their own respective cars; or in Emmett's case, jeep.

"Bella, is that you?" A high voice stood out from all the susurrus murmurs, turning all the people's attentions to the Cullens.

Hottie alerts! That copperhead looks sinful.

They are gorgeous!

The Cullens are here in the middle of the year? Hey, that just rhymed!

Trig test coming up! Grrr . . . .

Their thoughts were all over the place, giving Edward a massive headache. Bella seemed to have sensed this, so she extended out her shield and soon Edward couldn't hear anybody's thoughts but his own.

"Hey, Jessica." Bella replied, trying to use her old voice but failing miserably. Edward chuckled but Bella elbowed him in the rib, letting him strain out a silent 'oof'.

"Bella, you look different! Did you get contacts?" Jessica enthused. Bella sighed as she nodded her head.

Edward and Bella had same classes. With each passing subject, the clock seemed to go slower and slower with each bloody minute. Then, Literature finally came. It was Bella's favorite, apart from her penchant for the written word, it was the last subject before Lunch, and they all couldn't wait to eat, or in the Cullen's case, 'rest'.

A knock on the door was heard, and then in all her glory, Esme was standing there, a crying Renesmee in tow. Her eyes were red and puffy, and tears were streaming down her cheeks. Bella, having forgotten about her shield, had stripped it down from Edward, making every thought exposed to him. He heard them all, yet, he was focused on one.

Daddy, I missed you. And momma. I'm sorry for being here. I just want to see you.

"Come here, Renesmee." Edward crooned to the child, and in normal speed, she went to her father, crying into his sweater. Renesmee was far aware that she had to act her physical appearance.

"I'm sowwy, daddy. I just missed you." Renesmee wailed rather loudly, her bottom lip quivering and adding extra W's to compliment her charade. Edward stood up and rocked her body from side to side, in hopes of calming her down.

Oh shoot. He has a daughter. How old is he?

Too young, too young.

Great. Now I have no chance with the hot copperhead.

"Mr. Cullen, may I ask, is that child yours?" the teacher asked, looking both in awe and in shock. "How old are you?"

I'm sorry, Edward. When she woke up, she demanded to know where everyone was and started to have a hissy fit. She refused to eat her food and didn't stop crying from the minute she woke up. I really am sorry. Esme apologized to Edward, knowing that he could hear her thoughts, and Edward simply nodded his head. With that, Esme left.

"Mr. Cullen, I asked you a question." The teacher asked with a sharp edge to her tone, making Renesmee wince. It was voluntary, but it made her act more believable. Edward passed Renesmee to Bella and she immediately had a death grip around Bella's neck, nuzzling her face into her mahogany locks.

"Yes, she is mine." Gasps were heard in the room. "I am twenty two. I had to drop out ever since I found out that we were going to have her, and now was the only time that I could resume college." He lied flawlessly. Since it was a room filled with new students, or rather, students that didn't come from Forks high school, he had the opportunity of making up a story.

"Are you married, Mr. Cullen?" The teacher immediately asked.

"Pardon?" He asked back incredulously.

"You're twenty two. You're legal. So are you married or not?" Bella couldn't help but let out a few sardonic chuckles here and there.

"Yes, I am." Edward looked at his wife and daughter and winked. If only Bella could blush, she would do it right this very moment. The teacher finally noticed the matching wedding bands on their ring fingers and huffed.

"So that means you're a Cullen as well?" The teacher turned to Bella. She nodded.

"I had to keep my maiden name, just in case." Bella smiled, and then looked at Renesmee, whose stomach grumbled loudly from not eating breakfast. Bella gave her a small smile and Renesmee only blushed at her mother.

Family guy, huh?

They're so cute. What a beautiful family.

That child is distracting my class, and that Cullen man is distracting me.

The bell finally ringed, and everyone rose from their seats, bolting for the door. Bella put Renesmee down on the floor, but immediately latched her hand onto Bella's jeans. Edward held his daughter's free hand and they all made their way to the cafeteria.

"I'm sorry, mommy." Renesmee murmured silently, but with their sharp hearing, they caught it immediately.

"Why are you sorry, baby girl?" Bella asked, picking her up from the floor. She got a few stares from people walking the opposite way, but Bella was almost oblivious to that. When her daughter was in her arms, it seemed like nothing else ever existed. It was just her, and her daughter.

"Because I'm here." She sniffled, a batch of tears just threatening to fall.

"You don't have to be sorry, baby. I'm actually glad that you're here, because I don't have to wait until four o'clock just to see you. But make sure that you don't do it again, alright? We almost got in trouble there."

"Okay."

"I love you, mommy."

"I love you too, Renesmee. Forever."

Hey! This is my second Twilight story, again with little Nessie. :D This idea just would not leave me alone, so this little baby was born. I hope that you like it.
