While serving as part of the Bovino family, there were much fewer things that ever caught his interest. The only person he ever cared for - much less loved - was his boss. The man had raised him well for as long as he can remember, and this bond soon became Lambo's determination, driving him to do whatever it takes to please the much older Mafioso.

On one fateful day he chose a target for himself, the one most wanted by his beloved family. His endlessly made attempts to assassinate his target with hardly any luck, but for the first time he finally had something to add to his hate-list. The hitman named Reborn quickly became the center of most of his rage. Each failure only serving to weaken any chances of a better relationship, even after being recruited into a new family and no longer needing to do anything for his previous family.

It was some time between joining the Vongola family (albeit unwillingly), did he find someone to add to his like-list. Slowly did Lambo also find the need to make a new list, filled with the name of that someone he now loves. Sawada Nana, a woman turned into his pride. She takes care of him better than his boss and anyone else he has ever known. Bearing the most sweetest of smiles and delicious of food, his love for her as a mother grows insanely strong especially by her kindness. She gives this affection to others as well, but as long as she is there for him he feels stronger already.

For those he cannot decide whether to love or to hate, such as Tsunayoshi and his friends, whenever he hangs around them he treats them any way he wants. That plan didn't go completely as expected, after time and time again fighting side by side with them in the most dangerous of battles. Each and every one looking awesome with their weapons that are somewhat similar to his own. If he was to be put in danger, they would come rushing to save him. To use themselves as a shield for him was considered appropriate, for his life should be spared.

This has made Lambo view them in a better and far more brighter light. He quietly honors them not as the Vongola guardians that they all are but as the loving older brothers (and sister) that he has been spending a lot of time with.

To say he loves that little group is wrong, since he doesn't get along with all 5 of them. To say he hates them is also wrong, since he does get along with some of them. From what he has learned, they all view him as an important person worth their protection, and this view seems to have not changed even the slightest at any point. Lambo is grateful to be near them so often, even if he does occasionally argue with the squid-head, he still cherishes his moments with them.

Just knowing that, he is content with his life as a guardian himself.

"Lambo," Tsunayoshi calls, shaking the little boy in his bed lightly. "Wake up." He repeats, and a pair of green eyes are immediately fixed on him. Before one can go wild and furious over being disturbed, words and actions are cut off by an unexpected statement. "Today's your birthday, come and celebrate with us." A bright smile appears, and Lambo then truly comes to accept that he might actually love these people.

These people, who are very special to him.
