FANFIC: FINALLY_4

- 11:41 Wayne Manor -

Eli was speaking greek to Dick and had been for atleast half an hour. Dick realised, after Mrs. Soloman left that morning, he'd never actaully heard Eli speak greek before. The two were dressed but not for the occasion. Eli wore: a t-shirt which said "Green Day" on it, a pair of skinny jeans and plain black socks. Dick wore a plain grey t-shirt with dark blue jeans and plain black socks. They were sitting, crossing eachother, on the stairs. Eli repeated a few words everynow and then so Dick would understand them and then occasionally laughing at his pronounciation of some words.

"Shut up" he moaned

"I'm sorry- I'm sorry-" she snickered "Try again"

"No. I won't if your gunna laugh at me" he said standing up

"Fine, fine no more" she said sliding down the hand rail "Come on" she gestured for him to follow her. He smiled and jumped down the stairs two at a time then they both walked into the kitchen, Alfred was putting plates away and Bruce was folding his newspaper. "I'm going to get Vicky and bring her back. Eli, she said she might have a dress for you, she's going to bring it with her" Bruce said walking up to them. "Don't break anything while I'm gone" he joked smiling at the two, then walked to the front door.

"Bye Bruce" Eli and Dick said then he waved and walked out, closing the door behind him. Dick turned to Eli and laughed

"You gotta wear a dress" he said holding back his laughter. She frowned

"Shut up you gotta wear a tux" she said crossing her arms over her chest

"Big deal" he said smirking "I've worn a tux before" he laughed. She fake pouted for a few minutes and Alfred chuckled to himself. Then he sent the two into the garden while he finished tidying up. He watched through the window looking out onto the garden and he smiled. They were already climbing tree's.

"Someone's going to get hurt" he said sighed, drying the last plate.

- 12:20 Bruce's Car -

"Are you sure she'll like it? I've never met her and I have no idea what her size is" Vicky sighed looking at the dress layed over the back seats. Bruce smiled

"It's a lovely dress and I'm sure It'll fit her" he said "Just getting her into it will be the problem" he chuckled. Vicky smiled

"So she's that kind of girl" she said, Bruce turned to her

"Well she's not a-a-" he was lost for words "A girly-girl" he said

"I'm sure I can persuade her" Vicky said "Or Dick could"

"If you can't he will" he chuckled

- 12:50 Wayne Manor -

Bruce opened the door and let Vicky in first. She held the dress flat on her arms and smiled as Alfred took it out of her hands. "Thank you Alfred" she said nodding to him. She turned to Bruce "We have an hour and ten minutes until this-" she chuckled "-wonderous occasion. Where are they?" she asked.

"They are in the garden Miss" Alfred called out from the living. He then crossed the hall and walked into the kitchen, he gestured them to follow. Once they joined him Alfred pointed to the window looking onto the garden. The two pre-teens were doing hand-stands and head-stands. They were giggling and laughing at eachother. "So far, Sir, no broken bones"

"That's good" Bruce sighed in relief

"It's a shame we have to stop them" Vicki said smiling at the view. Alfred nodded

"Indeed" he picked up a cloth and tucked it away in the drawer, on his way to the sweet cuboard he opened the back door. "It's time to come in now!" he shouted to them. They turned their heads at exactly the same time and groaned loudly. Vicki chuckled

"How old did you say they were?" she asked sarcastically.

"You wouldn't think they were thirteen" Bruce chuckled. The two ran in, panting slightly. "Having fun?" Bruce asked. They grinned and looked at eachother then back to the adults, they nodded quickly

"But-" Dick regulated his breathing back to normal "-we have to get ready now, right?" he question shaking his head then running his fingers through his hair. Alfred nodded. Vicki stepped forward

"You've grown Dick" she pointed out. Eli snickered

"Barely" she giggled. Vicki turned her head to the young girl.

"You must be Elissa Soloman" she said and stretched her hand out. Eli shook it and nodded

"Just call me Eli though" she smiled and blew some hair from her face.

"Idiot works just as well" Dick said and chuckled. Eli gasped

"Hey!" she nudged him "Shut up"

"Come on you two" Bruce said and he pointed to Vicki "Eli, Vicki brought your dress". Eli forced a smile

"Great" she elbowed Dick who covered his mouth to stop giggling loudly "Can I see it?" she asked. Vicki nodded

"This way" she said smiling and gesturing to the living room. Eli followed Vicki out of the kitchen. Dick sighed happily and watched Bruce run a hand through his hair.

"Come on, you too" he said and Dick followed. 'And then there was one' Alfred thought to himself 'Today should be a one to remember'
