83 Chapter 1

A/N: I'm BACK! Writing Pokemon fanfics again, and again, and again, and again... Sigh.

You readers actually made me feel so proud that I had to write a sequel...

DISCLAIMER: I will own pokemon when I become a billionaire. But not yet.

Another death prediction.

Another person will die by the hands of fate.

The grim reaper stretched his raven wings fully, and flew to the place where his target was shopping with her friend.

Over the years, Drew had over thousands of death predictions, and none of those predictions were ever wrong. Though, he never enjoyed having those predictions, because a hundred years ago, he lost someone important to him after he had a prediction.

Someone too important and precious to lose.

And yet, she was gone. And for so many years, he hadn't caught a glimpse of her.

Don't lose hope.

He told himself while biting his lower lip so hard that it hurt. But that pain was nothing compared to the pain inside his heart. Time did not heal the scar in his heart, but in fact, hurt him even more. He was starting to think that he might not be able to fulfil his promise that he made to her. To find her reincarnation. At that moment, Drew was so caught up in his own thoughts that he forgot about what needed to be done. He took a deep breath, and calmed himself.

Lifting his hand slowly, he created an illusion using his powers and trapped his target along with her friend inside.

"What happened?" His target yelled in fright. "And who are you?" She pointed at Drew.

"A grim reaper." Drew replied simply. "And I just want to tell you something important."

"You... Y-you are g-going to take my soul?" She stuttered. "A-... A-are you going to k-k-kill me?"

"Not... really." Drew said.

Drew paused, and left the poor girl sobbing in fear. Drew hated it everytime when he took a part in taking away other people's lives.

Her friend stood in front of her protectively. "Can you just go away? And just... please don't kill my friend..."

"No." Drew replied. "Because I can't control your death. True, I can kill you with my powers if I want, but if fate decides that you have to die, then you have no choice."

Just like that time when fate decided to take her away.

The victim's friend growled at Drew. "You don't know what it is like to lose someone important to you!"

I know what it feels like. I really do.

Drew shrugged. "You, over there." He pointed at the girl who was sobbing. "You will die within fifteen minutes. By the hands of a famous assassin..."

"Don't listen to him." Her friend told her. "Let's get out of here. I'll protect you from any danger."

Drew lifted his illusion and let them go, but Drew didn't let them get out of his sight. Instead, he followed them, wanted to confirm that his prediction was right. After about ten minutes, a blade flew out of nowhere and successfully pierced through the girl's heart.

Drew's target died.

Her friend was terrified, then Drew assured her that it was alright. But she didn't believe him, and even attempted to punch him in the face.

Drew dodged and sighed. He was too used to this kind of things.

Suddenly, something sparkled inside the her hands as she attempted another punch. Drew saw that, and began to take caution. Was that... an aura? Drew thought. I'm sure that was some kind of aura, but I didn't get to see what color the aura is...

Not that Drew didn't want to fight the girl, but if they began fighting in public, it would just mean more trouble for the both of them. Drew flew away from the girl, trying to get a better view of the situation. The girl clearly possessed an aura, but Drew couldn't figure out what aura it was.

Then Drew observed his dead target. The knive struck her heart with amazing accuracy; something bothered Drew about that knive. It looked very familiar, in fact, way too familiar. Drew hated how it seemed like he couldn't remember a lot of things.

The girl tried to attack Drew again with her aura. Drew had to admit that the girl did a great job on hiding the color of her aura.

Then, right at that moment, another knive flew out of nowhere and slightly cut the girl's arm. She was bleeding, and her aura couldn't be used anymore. Behind her, a voice spoke, "You better run, I might kill you with the next strike."

Now this really bothered Drew. He had heard this voice before, but who was it?

The girl, terrified, quickly ran away. Good thing Drew shrouded the whole scene with an illusion, or else other people around would scream their heads off. Drew saw the owner of the voice retrieved his knives, and he was shocked. "Gary?"

He looked at the grim reaper. "Drew? Wow, haven't seen you in a long time!"

"You mean, in a hundred years. And who would have thought that you are an assassin?" Drew chuckled, then frowned. "Wait, how come you still remember me? This is your reincarnation, right? Then you're supposed to forget about all the things that happened in your past life."

"I got the jackpot!" He grinned. "Remember there is a very rare chance for people to reincarnate with lasting memories?"

"Oh." Drew sighed.

"I bet you wanted May to remember her past instead of me." Gary teased. "Well, anyway, I wanted to go look for Leaf as well~ And I found a good place to start." He held a sheet of paper in hand. "Remember that girl that I scared away just now? She was enrolled in an university for special people. Very special people."

Drew thought for a while. "You mean... like the students possess auras?"

"Exactly. I bet you know that when an incarnation with an aura dies, the reincarnation inherits the aura, right?" Gary explained. "Leaf has a green aura just like I do, and May still has that blue aura that she had."

"Hm..." Drew nodded in agreement. "I suppose you are suggesting that we go to that school and search for May and Leaf?"

"Yes, that's it."

"When?"

"Tomorrow." Gary confirmed with a grin.
