24Rococo's point of view:-
I walked slowly back to the soccer field. It was all my fault that I didn't ask her out and now she was going with Lionel, another school mate. I sat down thinking about it. Italia would have to go with someone. I walked back to the field. I managed to practice without appearing worried to Daisuke. After practice, Daisuke left.
"Hey Goushu", I called him. "What?" he asked as he turned to me. "Shall we stay and practice?" I asked, sheepishly. "Sure!" He said. "After practice?" Drago and Maxxie asked. "We'll stay too!" they said. "Don't you have dates for the dance?" I asked. "No", they said together.
The four of us practiced a little while till we got tired. We had been practicing a long time and we did extra practice got us tired. We sat on the bench by our school's soccer field. It was dark by now. The dance was not in our school. It was in a grand hall far away from our school that our school booked for the party.
"The dance party must have started", Goushu said, looking at the night sky. "Yeah. Hey Rococo, what happen to your date?" Maxxie asked. "She went out with someone else", I answered, depressed. I couldn't bring myself to even say it properly. "Why would you let her go out with someone else? Did you even talk to her?" Drago said. "Well, I didn't see her all day since after school!" I answered. "Besides, she is happy with her date on the dance, and if she is happy, I am happy."
"By the way, who did go out with?" Goushu asked. "Lionel", I replied. "What?" They all three said together. I stood up. "What's wrong with that?" I asked, urging them to speak it out. I was very protective of Italia's feelings. If anyone hurts her, I would never forgive myself. "Lionel broke up with his girlfriend. Now he is only looking for someone to date so he can make his girlfriend jealous and get her back. He is only using Italia!" Maxxie explained me all. "How do you know that?" I asked. "He was asking me during class!" Maxxie answered. "He passed me a note around saying if I know any girl that could help me with his problem!"
I ran from the field. I didn't care I was in my soccer uniform. It was a long way but I had to run to get to Italia to tell her everything.
