The curtains of the young Earl, Ciel Phantomhive's room were pulled back and tied. "Master. It is time to get up." the black clad butler, Sebastian Michaelis, said going to the silver serving tray and preparing tea. The boy sat up, stretching, letting the sheets fall into his lap. "Good morning, master. Today's breakfast consists of a lightly poached salmon, accompanied by a delicate mint salad. I can also offer toast or a scone, which one would you prefer?"
"Very good sir."
And the normal morning duties began, until silence struck the manor. It wasn't a comfortable silence, no. It was the silence like one at a funeral. Depressing and saddening. Sebastian shook his head, trying to rid himself of a feeling creeping up his spine. The feeling of something going wrong. It wasn't the normal feeling, when he knew the mansion was going to be destroyed, by Baldroy's cooking, Finnian's massive strength or Meylen's clumsiness, no; it was feeling much, much worse. "Sebastian." Ciel said looking at the butler, who ended up thinking hard about the feeling and didn't hear his master.
"Hm? I'm sorry my lord."
"Why are you out of it today? Usually you're the one keeping everything running."
"I just have a bad feeling."
"Feeling about what?"
"I'm not quite sure, but it will go away."
Ciel rolled his eyes. "Fine. Just be sure not to ignore your master again."
Sebastian bowed. "Yes, my lord."
The day went on and as Sebastian suspected, the feeling was subsiding, but why did he have it in the first place? Was another angel planning to take purify his masters soul? Was that annoying Shinigami, Grell Sutcliffe, around? Was there an assassin for hire to kill his master? Either way, there were a lot of questions and very little answers, or maybe he was going to get answers sooner then he liked. When Ciel and him heard the scream of Meylene. They looked at each other for moment, before rushing downstairs and in the middle of an entrance way was a large black hole. "Sebastian? What is that?" Ciel asked.
"I'm not sure. Meylene. Step away from there." she nodded and scrambled away, hiding behind the cook as he and Finnian entered. "What the hell?" Bard asked.
"Ho, ho, ho." Tanaka sat with his tea, perfectly fine.
"As I said to the young master, I'm not sure."
They turned to the door as Pluto came bounding in, howling at the top of his lungs. "Plu Plu." Finnian said, the demon hound not seeing the hole and getting sucked into it.
"Ah…Sebastian. I order you to go and see what that thing is."
Sebastian looked at Ciel, but since it was an order he reluctantly listened. He cautiously began to walk forward and had to dig his heels into the floor as the suction became stronger and stronger, until everyone was holding onto something, trying to keep from being sucked in, but one by one everyone was sucked in, Sebastian being first and Tanaka being last, the last thing anybody heard before the hole closed was. "Ho, ho, ho."
A/N: First chapter. I'm sorry in advance if any of the characters seem OC, but it's my first time writting the Kuroshitsuji team. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. :)
