(Nilo)

Today was the day that I would hopefully get some answers. I was going to meet up with Nala's parents that had guided the humans in Ingo twenty years ago.

Nilo walked down the beach towards the rocks where he saw Nala waiting for him.

"So are you ready to meet my parents"

"Man you make it seem like you're my girlfriend and I'm going to your parents for approval" Nala started to laugh until she almost fell off the rock.

"Lets go Nilo we still have to remember the time change for you" "Your right lets go" They plunged into the ocean Nala's tail kicking them into a current that would take them to her home. When they came upon it a merman was sitting on a rock weaving seaweed.

"DAD"

"Oh Nala your back pretty early, your usually out all day much to my disapproval" The man ruffled Nala's hair and smiled at her.

"Oh dad I brought a friend with me" The merman looked over Nala's shoulder to Nilo and surprised filled his eyes.

"Nala why did you bring a human down into Ingo you know that it is against the law and dangerous" "Well your one to talk I heard that you brought down a human girl a while back and helped bring a boy down as well"

"Where did you hear that" "Saldowr told us and said to ask you for the full story" "He should not have told you about what I did" "But why he said that they helped Ingo so much and were famous so why are they not talked about"

"Because its to protect you" "What are you talking about me and Nilo just want to know the story since he has very strong mer blood in him"

The merman had gone still and his eyes connected with Nilo's.

"Nilo, your name is Nilo"

"Yes"

"You have come back to us"

"What are you talking about people keep saying that to me, can someone please tell me what you mean?"

"Sapphire get out here" From the inside of a cave that Nilo hadn't noticed before came the woman from that morning a few days ago and in his past.

"You're the woman that I saw" "MOM you saw my mom on the surface"

"Nilo you have come back to me at last, I have waited so long" She bolted forward and wrapped her arms around Nilo holding him close.

"Hold on a sec he just said that your name is Sapphire, that's my aunts name but she drowned" "No I did not drown I chose Ingo and you have found your way home to it as well my darling boy"

"What are saying" "You are my son Nilo, not my brothers mine but I had to give you up to him"

"Mom what are you saying" "I'm saying Nala that you and Nilo are twins but Nilo somehow ended up with legs" "So that lullaby that you used to sing to me about a child taking flight and eventually coming back to where the other one lays is-"

"Is you and Nilo my darling children, and I have waited so long to have you together with me again. Me and Faro both" Sapphire started to sob her tears melting into the ocean around her. Faro came up beside them and pulled Nala into a hug.

"Can someone please just explain all of this from the beginning so that I understand it all" Well the whole story came out, from Sapphire first finding Ingo to her giving up Nilo and hiding all the stories of her and Connor from Nala.

"You will have to leave for now Nilo but come back tomorrow, Nala you will wait for him at the shore" "Of course, come on Brother lets go" They swam all the way back to the cove ridding the different currents until Nilo pulled himself out of the water into the sand.

It was dark and after checking his clock Nilo saw that it was already ten thirty. The lights were still on in the cabin as Nilo walked up to it and opened the door. The first thing that he saw was Rainbow sitting on the couch fretting and Connor pacing.

"Nilo there you are we where worried" "You have to tell us about everything that your doing, no keeping secrets" "Well your one to talk UNCLE" The house went silent. Rainbow stood up and went to hug Nilo when she realized the state that he was in.

"Your clothes are soaked with salt water" "You were in the ocean when we told you not to go"

"WHY COUNDN'T I GO, BECAUSE YOU WERE SCARRED THAT I WOULD FIND OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT MY REAL PARENTS"

Rainbow fell to her knees and started to cry. "So you found Ingo I see" "Yes I did and you can thank my twin for it. Why didn't you tell me the truth?"

"Because we couldn't loose you," Rainbow sobbed from her place on the ground. "Me and your mother where pregnant at the same time but I lost my baby after and Sapphire gave me you I just couldn't bear to loose you to that horrible place"

"You would have left us and never come back and my only child would have been gone so we kept it from you for your own good. Sapphire is a selfish bitch that cares only for herself. She promised you to us then she tries to take you away its just not faire how she can everything. Two perfectly healthy children the man of her dreams, a perfect life, she doesn't care if she stomps all over everyone else to get it"

SMACK

Nilo punched Connor and sent him flying across the room. "Don't you ever talk about my mother that way!"

"Nilo!" Nilo ran out the front door and grabbed his bike. He biked all the way to Sam's house that was a couple of miles down the road. When he got there he knocked on the door so hard he almost broke it down.

When the door opened there stood a sleepy Sam, he lived with his mom and she took the night shift at the restaurant in town so no one was home but Sam.

"Dude what is with you its like eleven at night" Sam stopped when he noticed the state that his friend was in. Still soaking wet from the ocean and his face red with rage and trembling.

"Hey man get in or your going to freeze" Sam pulled Nilo inside and sat him on the couch sleep entirely forgotten. "What happened Nilo you look like shit" "I had a horrible fight with my family"

I can't tell Sam the truth so I'll just have to keep it a secret and keep calling those horrible people my parents.

"Man what happened" "Well my dad said some bad things and I punched him" "Wow that is pretty bad what where you fighting about anyway"

"They insulted someone very close to me and kept secrets that they should have said something about" Nilo had calmed down a bit now wasn't shaking as bad.

"Well you're welcome to stay here for the night I can lend you something to wear"

"Thanks Sam, Thanks"
