I'm back to attempt another Twilight OC story! So, I would very much appreciate it if you all helped me with it by leaving your reviews at the end! Thank you~!

Disclaimer: I do not own anything! Only Abby, the plot, and stuff like that! (Just the stuff you don't see in Twilight.)

Chapter 1: How it all started
Abby's POV

I sat in my room, my kitten sitting on my lap and my head phones stuck in my ear as I listened to my favorite music in all languages. Right now, it was my favorite songs from t.A.T.u.

My kitten mewled, scratching at my auburn hair in a playful manner. I ignored her for the most part, just listening to my music and reading the latest manga chapter that had come out for my favorite manga. But, almost like everything, it became annoying after a while.

Picking the kitten up with a huff of annoyance, I started at the black and white kitten's green eyes. "What is it now Midnight?"

And as an answer, all I got was a short 'meow' from the kitten before it jumped out of my hands and out of the room. I sighed, shaking my head and returning back to my manga.

I had only gotten one page ahead of last time when my phone vibrated. I glared at it, looking at the text message from Julia.

Hey Abby! Wanna hang out tomorrow?

I just replied with a simple 'I dunno' and turned back to my manga when I heard my dad come home.

"Abb's, where are you?" He called to me.

"My room!" I called out to him. I didn't hear him reply back, so I turned back to my manga, reading a few more pages until I was called again.

"Abby, Midnight wants some food!" My dad called from the kitchen and I groaned, muttering about how my damn kitten eats a lot.

"But I just fed her!" I yelled, shutting down my laptop since I was obviously getting nowhere in what I was reading. And it was getting good too!

I walked out of my room, making my way down the short hallway and into the kitchen on my left. I hugged my dad quickly before making my way to Midnight who was scratching her bowl.

"How was work?" I asked as I put food into my cats bowl, placing it on the floor. The kitten ate the room happily.

"Good. I got a phone call today."

"About?" I asked, grabbing a water bottle from the fridge.

"It was from your cousin Sam. He wants you to go visit him for the summer. What do you think?" He asked, shuffling through his mail that was set on the kitchen table by me earlier this morning.

"Hm…I think it's a good idea. I have nothing better to do anyways." I said, smiling and leaning down to pick up my kitten that finished eating. "But what should I do with Midnight?"

He looked at me, giving me a look that said 'no'. Damn. "She can stay here with me."

I sighed in defeat. "Fine. When do I leave though? So, I can pack ya know."

"Tomorrow? We're not that far from where he lives. Only a few hours or so. Give or take a few." He mumbled, opening some of his mail and reading it.

I rolled my eyes, petting Midnights black head. "Alright. I'll go pack and tell him I'll be their tomorrow."

My dad just glanced at me as I walked by. Back to my room I go~!

~*~*~the next day~*~*~

I woke up the next day, feeling a little tired and sleepy. It was way too early in the morning to be getting up. Well, for me it was. And my phone wasn't helping me any. It just kept beeping and beeping and beeping until I finally got mad enough and shut the damn thing up.

With a groan, I pushed myself up into a sitting position, rubbing my eyes and glaring at everything in sight. Yeah, I wasn't a morning person. And my whole family knew. I was only a morning person when I got up on my own terms. Not when my phone told me to get up.

I glared at my phone, going to my closet to pull on my favorite black pullover hoodie. Rubbing my eyes one more time, I walked out of my bedroom, stopping at the bathroom real quick before making my way into the kitchen where I smelt my favorite food cooking. Pancakes with bacon and eggs. Yum~!

I yawned, telling my dad good morning, petting Midnight who meowed at me to feed her. Which I did, letting the little kitten eat as I poured myself a tall glass of Yoo-Hoo chocolate milk. Taking a sip, I sat down in my usual spot at the round table that seated four.

Soon, breakfast was done and we ate in silence before there was a ring from the doorbell. Mumbling an 'I'll get it'; I made my way to the door, opening it up to see my cousin standing there.

"Abby," He said, pulling me into a huge hug and I made an eep noise as air left my lungs and I became suddenly hot in my pullover.

"Sam," I started to wiggle in his grasp, "Let me go!" And he did. He dropped me basically. And let me tell you, it was a longer way then I had expected to reach the floor. "Damn. How tall are you Sam?"

He grinned, ruffling my hair and walking by me. "Wouldn't you like to know shorty."

"Oi! Who are you calling shorty? I'm not short! You're just an over-grown mutant!" I yelled, shutting the door behind me and making my way into the kitchen where Sam was, talking with my dad.

I just sighed, walking back to my room to get dressed. I put on some shorts that reached my mid-thigh, a t-shit that was plain purple, my favorite baggy pullover I was wearing before, and a pair of black flip-flops. I put on my necklaces, one being a gold necklace my dad had given me, and the other being a shark tooth necklace I got in New Jersey when I still lived there. I put in my earrings and putting on a small amount of make-up. I slipped my cell phone and iPod along with my money, keys, and a few hair ties into my pockets.

I walked out of my room, slinging both my laptop bag over my shoulder and my regular bag. I walked into the living room, noticing that Sam was standing by the door, waiting for me, where my dad was waiting to say goodbye.

I hugged him, mumbling a 'goodbye' and gave him a kiss on the cheek before petting Midnight and kissing her head, handing her to my dad before making my way over to Sam.

"Ready?" He asked, pulling out his keys. I nodded to him, handing him my cloths bag when he offered to carry something.

I waved one last time to my dad before the door closed and Sam led me to his truck. He placed both my laptop bag and my cloths bag in the back of the truck, opening up the door and offering for me to slide in.

Grabbing my laptop case, I got into the truck mumbling a quiet 'I care more about my computer then my cloths' when Sam gave me a weird look. He laughed at that and I glared, punching his arm. He just smiled at me, pulling me closer with one arm and ruffling my hair.

"I'm really gonna enjoy having you around," He said, more to himself then me. Letting me go, he started the truck and began our drive to where Sam lived; La Push, Washington. Which wasn't too far from where I lived; Seattle, Washington.

"So," I said, trying to start a conversation, "How's La Push been since the last time I was there?" I asked, remembering the last time I was there. But that had been when I was five and it was only a day visit before we went to explore other parts of Washington since I lived in New Jersey at that time.

"Good. Same old though. Beach is still there." Sam said, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Cool. What have you been up to since I last saw you?" I asked, smiling a little.

"Nothing. I got a fiancée. You'll meet her along with a few other people when we get there."

I just said 'hmm' as my answer and took out my iPod, listening to more music as we made our way to La Push.
