From the New York Charter of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club was established in 1990, there were few things that could compel President Spider to send a Son from coast to coast in order to get answers. When talk began in New York about suspicions that the MC's Mother Charter was getting into the drug trade, Spider was immediately fit to be tied.
Rather than send a bunch of bumbling Prospects down to do reconnaissance for the New York Crew, Spider dispatched Coyote, Bone Head and their Prospects, Rain Man and Ferret.
When they were packing up for the long haul, Angela decided to come along. Since they got married, Angela and Coyote were making up for 10 years of waiting for each other. So they never went anywhere outside New York alone.
The Prospects drove the cargo van while Bone Head and Coyote lead the way on their Harleys. Angela rode with Coyote on his motorcycle.
By the time they arrived in Charming, Coyote and Bone Head noticed right away that the San Joaquim Sheriff's Department had taken over the town. It wasn't long before they were stopped by the new chief flat foot in town.
"You're a long way from home." Roosevelt said looking at their New York Crew patches. "What's it to ya, lieutenant? Is it suddenly against the law to ride a Harley Davidson across the country?"
"It's against the new policy for you to be wearing gang affiliated cuts in Charming."
"That policy is only valid for anyone who had to do hard time recently. I have not done any time. Since we have not done anything in this state, you can not dictate to us what we can wear and what we can't. Since you can't arrest us and you know that, step to the side and leave us be."
Knowing that the young biker was right, Roosevelt waved them away. "See ya later, Lieutenant." Coyote said. "By the way, tell Smokey over yonder to quit stakin' us out." Bailey said, pointing to who Roosevelt recognized as Lincoln Potter, who was smoking a cigarette.
'Prick.' Coyote and Bone Head said together as they rode away from Lieutenant Roosevelt.
Parking the bikes and vehicles in front of Jax's house, they walked to the front door and knocked.
The door was opened by the 'First Lady' of the Redwood Original holding a infant in her arms. Coyote always seemed to call an MC president's wife the 'First Lady' rather than the usual 'Head Bitch'. He thought it was more polite and respectful.
"Coyote, Bone Head, Angela. What brings you three out here?"
"We came to talk with the National Pres and the VP. Can Angela hang out here for a bit while we head on over to TM?" Coyote asked.
"If it helps, I'm ready to help out anyway I can, Mrs. Morrow."
"Call me Gemma, darling." Gemma said, noticing both the girl's manners and also how comfortable Angela was showing off her 32-J breasts in her low cut shirt. "I guess you girls grow rather big up in the Big Apple."
"I developed a lot as a teenager." Angela said. "Would you mind if I made dinner for you and the boys?"
"No problem. I'm not sure if we have enough food."
"No worries. The Prospects we brought over got plenty of stuff to prepare for a meal." Angela said as Rain Man and Ferret walked in with several bags and coolers filled with food and drink. "Don't worry about the cleanup. Rain Man and Ferret are going to take care of that for you."
Allowing Angela to walk in along with the two Prospects, Gemma turned to the two New York Sons before asking, "Which one of you is her Ol' Man?" Bone Head pointed to Coyote who raised his hand with a smile on his face. "Nice taste in women, Coyote. How long since the wedding?"
"Just a few months ago. Before you ask it, Angela is my first and we'll leave it at that. If that's alright with you, of course."
"No problem." Gemma said, looking him over. "Get going. The guys aren't going to be there forever. By now, they're on the way to TM for church."
"Yes, Ma'am." Bone Head and Coyote said in chorus before they walked over to their Harleys and rode off towards Teller-Morrow.
Walking into the living room, Gemma watched as Angela was entertaining Abel.
"Any kids in New York between you and Coyote?" Gemma asked. Angela shook her head."A lot of bad water under the many bridges he's walked across in his life. His parents divorced when he was a kid. That kind of thing didn't encourage him to have kids. He did not want to risk turning out like them."
"So you've never wanted to start a family?" Gemma said, watching the younger woman hold Abel. "I can't say that I haven't thought about it. There was even a time that I was thinking about it. Then I remind myself that the MC life is not for everyone and not everyone could have a family in the life."
"I did it." Gemma said. "I did have to take a lot of hard knocks and make a lot of tough decisions but I did it." Gemma smiled at how Angela sat Abel upon her lap. "How did you take up with Coyote?"
"I was a kid from Chicago visiting New York. He was a cabbie, driving a taxi all across New York City, talking all about how the Big Apple was the greatest city in the world. We took up with each other, built up a friendship that became something more. When I found out he was prospecting for the Sons of Anarchy, I didn't protest. I knew how much Emilio loved the MC culture and motorcycles. Even when he got patched in the next year, I still stuck with him."
"You've seen the types of women who go to the MC parties and how the Sons take to attractive women, right?" Gemma asked, silently testing Angela. "Oh, yeah. I have seen them. Coyote assured me that I'm the only one for him. The wedding vows he made to me were not for show."
"You really think that he's not going to cheat on you?"
"He knows enough to stay loyal or his conscience will eat him alive. It helps that he loves me and I love him."
Changing gears quickly, Gemma asked, "Do you know why he's here?"
"There has been a lot of talk up in New York and a lot of it has not been anything pleasant. Mostly, I'm here to keep my man company."
At that moment, the door opened and Tara walked in. "Gemma, who's this?"
"Tara, this is Angela, Coyote's Ol' Lady from New York. Two Sons from the New York Crew came down for a visit." Gemma said, noticing how Tara was giving Angela a steely glare. "Angela Cortez, this is Jax Teller's Ol' Lady, Dr. Tara Knowles."
"It's a pleasure meeting you, Tara." Angela said amicably, setting Abel on the sofa before extending her hand to Tara, who did not return such courtesy. "Why are you here?" Tara asked rather curtly.
"I'm already spoken for and not by SAMCRO's VP. I'm not here to play homewrecker. From that glare you're throwing at me, you think I'm some floozy. A sweet butt. A pass around. I'm not any of those things. The sooner you get that through that thick head of yours, the sooner we can get along with each other." Angela said while standing her ground against Tara. "Get out of my house." Tara said.
"Tara, she's a guest." Gemma said. "She's also an Ol' Lady that I allowed into the house." Turning to Angela, Gemma tried to defuse the tension. "Angela, you mentioned something about making dinner tonight, right?"
"Of course, Gemma. Thanks for reminding me." Angela said. As she made her way towards the kitchen, Angela turned to face Tara. "Do you know how to cook, Dr. Knowles?"
"That is a shame. If you are going to be Jax Teller's Ol' Lady, you better know how to cook. If the wife leaves her man to starve, she shouldn't be surprised to find him getting his fill from someone else. Once you've checked your attitude at the door, come into the kitchen and start assisting me."
"Gemma, who does she think she is?" Tara asked.
"From here, she looks like someone who's embraced both the club and the man she married. Curb the attitude, throw on an apron and help Angela in the kitchen. You might learn a thing or two."
A/n: This is the first chapter. Review if you can. They encourage me to write. Thanks.
A/n: I am working with what's been going on in Season 4 of Sons of Anarchy. This is independent from the chain of stories collaborated on with ThisLife103.7. I'm not making the OC characters into Mary Sues. They are not too idealistic but not too pessimistic either.
