No one in your life is with you constantly,
No one is completely by your side,
And though I moved my world to be with him,
Still the gap between us is too wide…She'd thought once, in the naivety of youth, that she would marry John one day. He said he loved her, she knew she loved him…what could possibly get in the way? But then the baby happened, and John left her to deal with it by herself, and she realised that by letting him do whatever he wanted in order for her to be accepted, she had actually pushed people away.
It was a mistake she wasn't planning on making again, so no one was allowed to get that close again. It was safer that way.
