Fantastic Four

Issue One: Apocolyptic Part One

Benjamin Grimm, the Ever Blue eyed Fantastic Four member walked through the hallways of the Fantastic Four complex after a nice work out, he had a towel wrapped around his neck and he was in a sweat, but remained cheerful.

"Nothin' like a nice workout" he said to himself. He turned a corner in the corridor and there Valeria Richards was experimenting with another device, sitting on the floor. She resembled both her mother and father as she worked. She looked up and smiled,

"Hey uncle Ben" she said.

"Hey Val'" said The Thing rubbing his head uneasily, "Watch'ya workin' on?

"A simple electronic device that will electrocute anyone who puts a certain ammount of pressure upon it, also on impact" said Valeria Richards, feeling pleased, "It's a very simple device, I was installing it for protection from any of the things you guys face"

Benjamin nodded, "Sounds like sumthin ya' dad would be doin" he said.

"My dad is currently in his study in the labratory, working with mom and Uncle Johnny, somethig imporant"

Benjamin sighed, "See ya Val" he said. He walked and looked back and wave, "It's gonna be Clobberin' time"

Reed Richards, genius of the Fantastic Four and also the one who possesses the astonishing ability of elasticity sat in his chair, glasses on facing a large computer, twice the size he was. On the screen was a simple diagram of Earth with blue dots appearing, when The Thing walked in he turned around.

"Hello Benjamin" he said with a slight frown, "It appears on my radar screen mysterious horcruxes has been appearing on the face of the earth, encased in a purple dome that is only expanding, all in the USA."

"Who do ya' think it is?" he asked, sitting down at a table with the Human Torch AKA Johnny Storm and Invisible Woman AKA Susan Richards.

"Probably someone who wants a piece of Johnny Storm" said The Human Torch with a smile. Susan rolled her eyes at her highstrong brother. Reed's frown only increased.

"I think we should investigate" he quipped, "Each of us goes and investigate each Horcrux"

"What if it's a trap?" asked the Invisible Woman.

"Then that's a risk were going to have to take" Reed decided. He turned back around and enlarged the screen, showing each Horcrux's individual location, "Here is each of them, one is in Hollywood, California, another in Madison, Wisconsin, one is located on the Grand Canyon in Arizona and another is located in Houston, Texas" Valeria walked in with her device, it's two lights of neon blue and pink glowing.

"Can I go?" she asked. Susan shook her head and got up gently and put her hands on her daughters shoulders.

"Valeria Richards have you been eavesdropping?" asked Reed with a raised eyebrow.

"Um-Y-Y-eah" she said nervously. The Invisible Woman nodded in dis-approval and slightly frowned, "I am sorry Val..."

"I can't risk you being hurt" she said, sincerely. Valeria pouted,

"But I was looking forward to accompanying you on a mission" she said, "I am fourteen"

"I can't have my niece being in that kind of trouble" said the human fire manipulator, "Maybe another time..."

"Let 'er go" said Ben, "Nothing can happen when she is 'in the company of one of us"

"No" said Johnny. Ben shot him a glance, "I don't care"

"Let 'er go Susie" said Ben. The girl genius's eyes lit up. Susie relucantly sighed and nodded.

"Fine" she said, "But you must accompany me" Valeria nodded and got excited. Reed sighed and put his head on his hands.

He sighed, "Let's go, everyone in the Fantasti-Car" Everybody got up and walked out. Johnny walked with Reed.

"I am nervous" the elastic hero admitted, "Val can be...to independent"

With the Human Torch...

In a few hours time Johnny Storm was in Madison, Wisconsin by the capital. He got out the veichle and yelled, "Flame on"

Suddenly Johnny was engulfed in flames and he shot up in a burst of speed and light and looked up at the capital as the purple horcrux on the top of the capital was enlarging and people were taking pictures and scowering in fear. He flew up to where the force-field was, careful not to get close.

"Let's see how a flame burst will affect ya" he said, unleashing a flame bolt from his hands. The shield shook a bit before collapsing completely. The horcrux then shot out a woman, dressed in a green floral dress and her hair in a mess.

"I am Apocolypse's Horseman, War" she yelled angrily.

"Shit..." said Human Torch. He flew backwards but her ability was quicker then he and suddenly he was hit with a green crystalized fist, that came from her real hand. Johnny fell and plummeted to the ground. He pressed his communicator device,

"Umm...Guys we have a problem" said Johnny after he recovered, wincing in pain, "I am in Madison and I think Apocolypse is back!

With Invisible Woman and Valeria...

"That's crazy talk, this is just a simple investigation" said Valeria, just out of earshot of her mother, pressing the device to turn it off. She walked by her mom who was concentrating on containing the horcrux field in Hollywood, California, just above the large Hollywood sign.

"Any luck?" asked Valeria, who carried a few devices in her pocket. Susan struggled as neither her force-field ability nor her invisibility power was helping her.

"No" she said with a defeated sigh. Valeria took out that electronic device carefully she had constructed early and threw it at the horcrux and it exploded. A wave of energy swept the area. Luckily Susan Richard was quick and she was able to block the wave with a force-field to encase her and her daughter carefully.

"Good thinking Val" said Susan letting down the force-field, storking her daughter's hair tenderly.

Val smiled, "Thanks"

Just like with Johnny though something came out the Horcrux and it happened to be Apocolypse's Horsemen, Pestilence came out, a woman with black leather.

"I am Pestilance" she said. She ran at them and tried to touch Val. Susan made a force-field tentacle trying to enwrap the woman but she merely jumped out the way and threw a knife at her, cutting her cheek.

She grabbed the communicator from Val, "Reed...Ben...Johnnny were in trouble..."

With Mister Fantastic.

"I know hun" said Reed Richard, feeling sick from the sweltering heat of the Arizona sun as he had found the horcrux and began instructing people to back up. It suddenly exploded without any impact and their came a man, with a white uniform and a mask.

"I am Apocolypse's Horseman" he said.

Reed pressed on the communicator device, "I have the same thing here" he said. "Please standby"

The horseman, Moses Magnum ran at Mister Fantastic and aimed a punch and Mister Fantastic used his elastic body to duck and used his hands to try to grab Moses's hands but he had stomped on the ground and the rock formation shook and Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four began falling of the Canyon.

With Benjamin Grimm...

Benjamin was having the same problem as everyone else except he was fighting Deathbird and was not winning. Deathbird flew over head and had used a javelin to emit a electrical charge that sent him flying into a building in Houston Texas. The damage was catastrophic as he had made quite an indention.

"What is this?" he asked, "I ain't gonna let this Benjamin be clobbered" He ran at her and picked up a nearby lampost and used it to try to swat at Deathbird who simply used another javelin to emit a gas. People began falling out, asleep.

"Reed...we got a situation up in Texas" he said. He put down the communicator when he heard nothing but static, "It's Clobberin' Time"
