8 Chapter 2

Alices POV

Whilst Eric and his father were fighting I took the liberty of checking out the place. At the minute I was looking at, what looked to be like some sort of display cabinet. It had crowns and weapons and gold. They all looked incredibly beautiful. Especially the crown in the middle. It was gold, with rubies placed around it. Next to it was a silver one, with blue and purple gems in it. The silver one was smaller than the gold. I placed a finger on the gold one and felt the material. It was so... gold like. well... derrr

"That one is for me," I heard someone say behind me. I swung around and saw Eric standing there in the door way. He walked over next to me and looked at the crown aswell.

"When I get married that is, and become king," Eric said and looked at me. Okay, so he may not have said king... but it looked like it was for a king...My make-up was probably smudged and I must have looked disgusting... but he still smiled at me. As far as I was concerned, Eric hadn't gotten married in the show... I'm not exactly sure about the books though... perhaps he had.

"What is the silver one for?" I thought perhaps they had made a crown early for the new baby they were about to have. I wasn't exactly good at viking traditions, all I knew was they were cleaner then most, loyal, and apparently they liked mutton. When Eric turned vampire, there is no way he would be able to wear that silver crown anyways...

"My queen," He said and traced a finger along the gem stones.

"I'm sorry you had to hear that... the fighting," He said sincerely as he turned to me.

"That's okay, my parents did not get along with me very well either. But that doesn't mean I didn't love them," I did love my parents, until they died on me. Which was probably the worst day of my life. When wouldn't it be for a 7 year old? There was a silence between me and Eric for a little while, it wasn't awkward, we were both thinking I suppose.

"Would you like to rest? We have a place for you to sleep here ," Eric said and I smiled back at him. Before I could even answer, Eric opened his mouth again, a giant grin on his face.

"Or you could always sleep with me," What a flirt... I laughed back at him and rolled my eyes a bit. That is so Eric's style.

I hadn't accepted Eric's invitation of sleeping with him... I knew he wouldn't be able to keep his hands to himself, so instead I would sleep in a bed, near him. It was actually looked kind of comfy. I was on a bed to the left of the room and Eric was to the right. Apparently since I didn't want to sleep with him, I had to sleep around him. He was nice and calm about it. We had been chatting for a while whilst at the table in the lounge, he was telling me all his battle stories. And I mean all. His father was telling us one now, one about a neighbouring village that ran their mouth too much I think.

"-We then left them to wallow in self pity at their loss. They never talked or came to our village again. I even believe they didn't dare think horrid things of us after that," Eric let out a great booming laugh, and I laughed aswell. He may be a manipulative vampire, but he was a nice human. Everyone at the table began laughing as a matter of fact.

"Tell me, Alice. Did your village have any war stories? Perhaps you even have some?" Eric said to me.

"Well... no, we were fairly peaceful, the attack that happened was... quite odd," I had no idea what to say. What do I say? What do I say? Wait.. I knew a few tales about wars' the Vikings had... but I wasn't game to lie to the people... even though I already had.

"What was odd about it?" Eric said to me. Everybody else had resumed their conversation at the table... Eric seemed to be the only one who cared.

"Well, we had never done anything bad to the Roman's, and they destroyed our home, burnt it to the ground," The moment I had said that to him the table erupted in laughter again. This was what it felt like to be a family... During the whole discussion, Eric had given me odd second glances, just quick ones. I had been doing the same I suppose. I would have never thought I would meet the vampire... a vampire as a matter of fact. I had thought several times about meeting the actor but... meeting actual Viking Eric? I would never have dreamt it.

"More?" Eric said, motioning to the beer. I was getting a little dizzy... a lot dizzy actually. I giggled and shook my head at him.

"No, thank you,"I smiled at him giddily. I wasn't completely trashed but I was far off from tipsy and by this time it was just Eric, his father, and I. I knew the father was going to drill me... and not in a weird sexual way, okay?

"Tell me, Alice. Have you been hunting before?" I stretched my arms and yawned I was getting rather tired. I had been hunting in real life before, with my father. He loved communing with nature and he always thought there was something mystical about it. We would camp out and hunt deer through the day with a tranquilliser gun. I always complained about not wanting to kill bambi. We'd track the deer, for miles and when we finally saw it, we would just watch them graze and take pictures, on occasion, we would kill a coyote if it attacked us.

"Of course I have!" I said proudly and drank a little more beer. Eric had drunk the exact same amount as me, and he was still sober practically... perhaps I'm a light weight. I've never been drunk before.

"Would you like to come hunting with us? Generally we do not let a woman hunt but, with you around I would like to know of your, capabilities," I heard the father say. I was expecting Eric so ask that question... well I thought that if anyone would it would be him. Not the father.

"Of course, how could I refuse?" I smiled back at him. Eric looked at me and smiled, widely. I think he knows I'm drunk...

"We will get the blacksmith to get you some weaponry. It should be done by tomorrow,"

"Fantastic!" I said overly excited. Eric and the Father laughed at my response.

"I think perhaps you should take her to bed," The mother said, popping her head around the corner. Could everyone tell I was hammered? Eric nodded in response and put my arm around his shoulder, lifted me up out of the chair and swept me into his arms, carrying me bridal-style. I said goodnight to Eric's parents and thanked them for their hospitality, Eric also said goodnight. When we arrived to his room, instead of dropping me on my bed, he dropped me on his... sly man. Too drunk to move or protest, I cuddled up to the strange pillow and fell asleep, Eric laying beside me.

"Alice," I was awoken by the whisper of the voice. Maybe it was a dream? Maybe I was hallucinating? Maybe I was knocked out by the gypsy, and then taken to her evil lair and was going to become the meal after she fattened me up. No... that wouldn't happen, I was no Gretel. I opened my eyes and looked around the place, I was still Eric's bedroom, with Eric beside me. Who was also spooning me. I looked at where the voice had come from, it was Tiffany.. atleast it was a blurry outline of her.

"Tiff?" I said dreamily. I had a tiny headache, but apart from that I knew exactly what I had done last night.

"You ditched me!" She whispered/yelled. It was kind of like a whisper filled with venom.

"No, you ditched me. You didn't come into the house with me, you walked off," I said matter-of-factly as I looked at her. Why was she wearing that weird dress...? And what was she going on about? Obviously she had abandoned me.

"No, you left me in the forest. You stole my clothes, and you took the bag,"

"No..." I said cautiously

"You came with me to the village, after we rescued Eric and Rolf?" I was confused by now. I suddenly put two and two together and realised what was going on, why Tiff was acting so strange yesterday.

"Nuh-uh..." She said in protest.

"Oh my god..."

"What?"

"I think... there's a doppelganger version of you. Maybe sent by the gypsy? To make us go apart? You know, the one that brought us here,"
"What!" She screamed I immediately clasped my hand over her mouth. I looked to Eric next to me, who rustled around in his sleep. I crept out from the bed slowly, not wanting to wake him and walked down the hallway, where I was sure we wouldn't wake someone with our talking.

"What do you mean 'doppelganger version of me'? And why were you so quick to jump in bed with Eric?" Her eyes were wide and she looked terrified, the last sentence though she looked more... confused. I was confused aswell... who the hell was I talking to yesterday.

"Me and Eric didn't do anything like that," I said with my hand on my hip and then leaned in closer to her.

"I was talking to someone, that looked exactly like you, okay? I mean, I thought it was you. Although there were a few things off about her,"

"Like what?"

"Like the fact she couldn't understand Swedish. She also said something about 'what I was thinking about when the gypsy grabbed my hand'," Tiff looked lost in the conversation right about now. She shook her head and gave me the shrug that meant 'what?'. I rolled my eyes and sighed at her. I loved her to bits but... come on.

"I think she is the gypsy. How else would she know what I was thinking and why the gypsy brought us here. Also... she took the bag..." I said as I looked at the ground, ashamed.

"You thought some old woman... was me?" Tiff looked shocked and appalled.

"She looked exactly like you Tiff..." I mumbled.

"I really wish I had that bag though... it would have helped a lot," I said and as I said that, Tiff grabbed the bag that was set behind the door.

"How did-"
"Found it in the centre of the village," She cut off my sentence and I snatched the bag and held it close.

"I love you Tiffy," I said as I brought her into a hug.

"What was it like when you woke up anways?" I asked, it had been bugging me ever since she had told me that I had supposedly stolen her clothes.

Tiffany's POV

I didn't have very much memory of the past few hours, all I knew was that Alice. My supposed best friend in the world had ditched me. I had been wandering these woods for the past 6 hours, naked. And I don't mean I was cold. I was actually naked. No clothes, not even underwear, I only had my silver bracelet. That damned psycho woman that Alice ran into must have done it. She must have separated me and Alice... right? I had my hands clasped over my breasts and... other things as I came to a clearing. There was a fire, in the middle, and a dead body. A female dead body. I slowly crept up to the woman. She had a chunk ripped out of her neck, and there was blood stained on all of her clothes. She was wearing a dress and had a blanket over her. Odd... why would a dead body need a blanket? It's not like they could get cold... also, what was with the clothes she was wearing? It looked like she had just come from a renaissance fair or something. Not wanting to strip the body, I grabbed the blanket that was laid on her and wrapped it around myself. There must have been a vampire here, I thought to myself. She did have a chunk ripped out of her neck, and it didn't look like there was much blood left in her. I grabbed a stick off of the ground and undid my silver bracelet, knowing that vampires hated silver. I walked by the fire and sat there, warming myself. I must have sat there for an hour of two, just getting warm, in virtual silence. I heard a twig crack behind me, and turned to the place it had come from.

"If you're a vampire! I have silver! And if you're a human, I'll kick your ass!" I shouted to the clearing. I heard nothing, and after convincing myself that it was just a rabbit or a fox I turned back to the fire. Only to be met with my eyesight being blocked by a set of fangs. Before I could even scream or comprehend who the vampire was, a silver net was put over his head. He hissed in pain as the silver burnt his skin and collapsed in front of me.

"Are you okay?" I heard someone say in Swedish. I never thought I'd thank Alice for forcing me to learn Swedish... but right about now... I felt like I loved her.

"Fine," I said as I looked behind the vampire and saw a man dressed as oddly as the woman was. Why does that remind me of Eric dressed as a Viking?

"Did he bite you?"

"No," I said and took a good hard look at the vampire. He looked familiar... I just couldn't place it. The barbarian looking man swept the vampire up in the silver net, making sure every part of him was covered by it and began walking away. He carried the man over his shoulder with his right arm. I began to follow him, whilst in the blanket.

"Why are you naked?" He said to me as I walked side by side with him.

"Because... it is fun?" I lied to him. He laughed back, not buying my lie.

"Where did you come from?"

"I fell from... the heavens," I said sarcastically, he laughed again. Maybe this guy wasn't half bad. We continued to walk for a few hours. The vampire struggling and hissing at him.

"Why are you carrying him? And what are you going to do with him?" I questioned as I struggled to keep up with him. He was quite fast.

"I will show him off, to the village. He is quite a prize. Besides, 3 days ago he killed a few of our villagers. In a frenzy. My betrothed was one of them," He said as he practically floated along the ground. I however was jumping and dodging sticks as I walked. So many disgusting germs. I hope I don't get tetanus.

"I'm sorry to hear that," I said as I grabbed his shoulder for support, trying for my feet not to dig too far into the sticks. He swiftly swept me up bridal style using his left hand and began to carry me. Was he hitting on me? His betrothed did only die 3 days ago. Perhaps it was a common practise? And can I just say, damn he's strong.

"It is fine. I had no say in the matter of our marriage," So, it was an arranged marriage. I thought they only did that in India. Obviously my knowledge of Sweden was... well I had no idea about it apart from the fact that 1000 years ago, there were Vikings.

I walked with the stranger for about an hour until we arrived at a village. It was small, and in places it looked like it had been trashed. The vampire must have done it. I thought to myself. As we entered the first thing I noticed was the way people looked at us. I guess people had never seen a naked woman and a vampire encased in silver being carried by the same man before. Few of the townspeople cheered for him, others ran away. Scared of the vampire. He set me down on the ground and then put his hand behind my back, pushing me forward.

"We had best get you some clothes," He said as he walked me through the town.

"Agreed," I was taken to his house. He then fitted me into a dress, not sure who's it was. But it was itchy and uncomfortable. We then threw the vampire in a barn... place. I wanted to talk to it, see who it was, but unfortunately, the man had refused to let me stay in there alone. Tomorrow I'll have to sneak in and talk to the vamp.

"So you are an outsider? From a different village?" I obviously wasn't in Kansas anymore... I had to find Alice, she would be here too right? What would my background story be? I wonder what Alice had said... if she was found that is.

"I don't remember," I said as I looked at the food placed on the table. I was grabbing at straws. I didn't want to tell them a story and then them find out it was a lie. So i would just play amnesia girl.

"How do you not remember?" Fighting back the urge to say 'it's kind of like, forgetting', I stared at him blankly.

"I don't remember anything. All I remember is waking up, naked, and in the forest. I don't even remember my name,"

"Well, my name is Lucas. I will take you to see the king in the morning okay? But for now, I think it best if you rest for a while,"

"I have another question," My question was about the dead woman in the woods. Did he know her? Were they involved together? And what was he going to do to the vampire? Why did he catch the vampire anyways? After we had discussed my amnesia for almost an hour, he led me to a room. A bedroom, it had a giant bed in it. Only one giant bed. I looked at Lucas. Did he want me to sleep with him.

"I promise I will not touch you," He assure me as he jumped on the bed and went beneath the sheets, which looked like animal skins. I reluctantly walked to the bed and crept in beside him. So many germs. I needed to brush my teeth, comb my hair, have a shower and disinfect my hands and feet. But I couldn't, because I don't have the bag, there's no such things as showers, and I don't have my tooth brush.

I feel asleep after a little while and awoke whilst the sun was still down. Around, 5o'clock maybe? Who could tell? I had a plan. I wanted to talk to the vampire. He seemed... familiar, and since I came from a world without vampires, I wanted to know more. I had suspected that perhaps the gypsy had taken us to this place, to 'when' and 'where'. But it wasn't just a destination... it was like a new dimension. I got up out of the bed and walked through the house. I glanced at myself in a puddle. I looked like crap. I smoothed out my hair, splashed water on my face and then walked to the holding cell the vampire was in. No body was up around the village, apart from a few stressed out mothers with their children. I opened the barn door and looked to make sure no one else was in here. After I was sure the coast was clear I closed the door and approached where I knew the vampire was. What would happen if he didn't talk to me? What if he escaped the silver and attacked me? I would never see Alice again, or my parents. I had to make him be on my side, make sure he knew I wasn't going to harm him. He'd also be very tired and weak. I was prepared to give him my blood, just a drop perhaps? Shouldn't do too much harm.

"Hello? Vampire?" I said as I approached the silver sack. He was lying there, still. Somehow he seemed familiar.

"Are you alive? I mean... dead.. errr, are u conscious?" I said as I scrunched up my face. He didn't have to reply with words, instead, he hissed at me. He was lying on his back, hands and feet together with a silver net placed ontop of him. Someone had been here, and moved him.

"Did someone come in here and hurt you?" I said as I removed the silver net from his face. I was careful enough and made sure to stay away from the fangs. The moment I had done so, I suddenly realised who the vampire was.

"Oh my...Godric?" Godric seemed to realise that I knew him, but looked completely lost. He then began to snarl at me. Great, I get stuck with mean Godric, just my luck.

"Don't I know you?" He said a little confused. Ummm... what the hell?

"I don't think we've ever met before... You didn't happen to see an old woman... in the forest, earlier. Wearing a purple thing on her head?" I know that really wasn't that great of description, but perhaps he had noticed her. His lips stayed pressed shut. He didn't want to talk. How could I make him talk? Bargain with him perhaps?

"Look, if you promise me you're not going to hurt me, I'll remove more silver, okay?" His lips still stayed shut, not wanting to negotiate.

"Let me taste your blood..." He said after a few minutes of thought. What? I was prepared to give him blood before but, there wasn't anything stopping him from draining me.

"Fine, but if you kill me. My friend will come here and she will destroy you for hurting me. Vampire or not," I was meeting the Godric... someone I had a crush on and I just threatened his life. I sure do know how to get into a guys heart. I sighed rather loudly, and looked around on the ground for a sharp object. Over in the corner was a pitch fork. That would have to do. I walked over, grabbed it and pressed it sharply into my hand. It was really quite blunt, but eventually it drew blood. I then ran back to Godric and let a few drops fall into his open mouth.

"I've tasted you before," He said after swallowing them. I rolled my eyes and covered my hand with a ripped off piece of my dress. Thank goodness I went to that first-aid course.

"Did you see anyone like that description or what?"

"No, but I saw you,"

"Well, yes of course you did. You tried to attack me, remember?" I said with sarcasm heavy in my voice.

"No, I saw a different you. She smelt different, sour. You smell sweet, like honey," I smiled a little, who knew I smelt nice to vampires? What... what did he mean a 'different me'?

"What? What do you mean by 'different me'?" I was weirded out by now. Perhaps she was the one who stole my clothes?

"She was walking with a pretty blonde, and two men. The blonde was dressed in a lovely purple and her hair was curly. She seemed familiar also..." I began to think. Alice was here? Why was she walking with a different me? Why was Godric spying on them? Perhaps he was going to turn Eric soon. If that was the case, we had to leave. Had Russell attacked Eric's family yet? My thoughts were interrupted by Godric.

"I was going to eat her... she smelled nice... even nicer than you," I rolled my eyes and looked at Godric.

"You know, one day you will change into a loveable person. And when that happens you will hate yourself for saying that," Godric laughed at my comment and I sat down next to him.

"I'm serious, a thousand years from now, you'll be the most human of all vampires," Godric huffed beside me.

"And how would you know that?"

"Because, I've seen you in a thousand years," I said before walking out of the barn. It was light outside now and I could see the town centre. There was a well in the middle of it. I walked over to the well, seeing something familiar. Something I wish I had last night. It was the bag, and it was leaning against the well. I quickly grabbed it and sprinted towards the house I was in previously.

Alice's POV

"When I got back, Lucas told me we were going to see the king. I was told to have a look around and then I found you... in bed with Eric," She said with her hands crossed.

"So you knew? About the fact there may be another you running around?"
"I thought maybe Godric was lying... or that my smell had changed. Guess 1 was wrong... huh," I heard Eric begin to rustle in his sleep in the other room.

"Wait, how did Godric recognise us?"

"I have absolutely no idea," I heard Eric shift again in the other room. I shouldn't be out here when he wakes up. I should be with him.

"We got to find a way home," Tiff said with her sad eyes. She probably missed her family... or the ability to have a shower.

"Okay, talk later, I gotta crawl back in bed with Eric," I said before walking down the hall to his room.

"Never thought I'd hear you say that!" Tiff said from behind me. I stiffled my laughter and practically launched myself back in bed with Eric. He was obviously awake because when I got back in bed with him, he wrapped his arm around my waist, and leant his head on my shoulder.

"Good morning angel," He said as he breathed in my scent.

"You smell nice," I wasn't expecting that... I hadn't bathed or anything. Maybe it was the coconut body butter I had on?

"Thank you, Eric, and good morning to you too," I said as I unwrapped myself from him and stood at the edge of the bed.

"Where did you go?" He asked and all I could do from where I stood was admire him. Half naked Eric, in animal skin blankets and a bed head... he. looked. yummy.

"I uh... I went to see my friend. The one I was with before? She was here..."I trailed off, and looked at Eric. He slowly got up out of bed and put clothes on... to my disappointment. I continued to look at him and the moment I realised what I was doing I turned away... whoops. I heard him chuckle lightly and then saw he walked over to me and gave me a smile.

"So, when do we go out for hunting?"
"Whenever we feel like it, I'd say your weaponry is done anyhow," Eric said before he walked behind me as I headed to the living room... well, the place where the giant table was. After eating something and me looking around for any sign of Tiffany, I was told I should wear.. get this 'hunters clothing'. After people discussing what I should wear I said I had some of my own from my village. I grabbed Tiff's jeans and her shirt and flung them on, along with the runners. When I walked out people looked... amazed, I think that's how you'd describe it. I got handed a sword (a knife?) and a spear. Tiff joined me, wearing some of the weirdest clothing I have ever seen. Probably what they meant by hunters clothing, she also got handed a sword. It was bigger than mine though... We ventured off into the woods, talking and stuff and almost the second we had gotten there, everyone fell silent. We walked almost 5 kilometres before seeing anything, Eric, his father, Tiff and I were the only ones out there. What we saw, wasn't an animal though. It was 4 other people, all dressed similar to the people back at the village... but they were carrying swords and one had a crown. The moment we had spotted them, everybody had crouched down into hiding positions. The father had crouched down, hiding behind a tree, me and Eric had jumped down into a tree's tangled root, and laid down. The roots were so thick, and we ventured below a few so that we were lying down on some roots, and roots covered our faces. Tiff had slipped behind a tree quickly.

"Stay here, Father and I will handle it," Eric whispered to me, he then jumped out and walked over to his Dad. I stayed completely silent. From what I could hear, Eric and his father had attacked the trespassers, after they had a discussion with them. The discussion went along the lines of 'who are you', 'what do you want' and so on. Now, I was concerned for them. After all, there was 4 of them and only Eric and his father. I wonder what his real name is... After hearing a few more battle sounds, I grew bored. So, I did what any normal person would do, I went to help. I jumped out of the roots and looked at the scene, before creeping over to Tiffany.

"What are you doing? They said to stay hidden!" She whispered angrily. I shook my head and looked back at them.

"We have to help, it's 4 against 2. With us, it's equal," I said and grabbed Tiff's sword before giving her the spear. I looked back again at the people. Eric was fighting one man, his father two, and the other crowned man stood there idly by. Probably because he was king... or whatever they called him. I crept behind a few trees and managed to go to the back of the opposing king. I jumped out behind the trees, drew my sword and slung it around the kings neck. I wasn't going to kill him though... hell no. I've already killed one person too many.

"Make them stop, or I'll kill you," I said menacingly into his ear. Tiff, of course, ran to the other side of the king, making sure he couldn't move. She disarmed him and then she cleared her throat, really loudly. The 3 men who were fighting Eric and his father stopped and turned. As they did so, Eric plunged his sword into one man, whereas with Eric's father he cut off one man's head, and then did the same to the other man. Eric's father then went up and grabbed the king from mine and Tiff's hands.

"I thought I told you to stay hidden?" Eric said as he walked over to me. I dusted a little bit of the dirt that had accumulated on his clothes off... but apparently Eric didn't think that was what I was doing. Instead, he kissed me. Just a quick little peck, but I was still flabbergasted. That's a funny word isn't it... flabbergasted, dumbfounded is a funny one aswell! Back to the story. As I was standing there momentarily in shock, the king, our king, had told us to continue on hunting. Whilst he dealt with the fake king. Tiff was as shocked as I was. Eric, was smug... of course.

"Let us go," Eric said as he motioned forward. I walked infront of him and Tiff linked arms with me.

"OMFG!" She whispered to me as Eric walked behind us.

"Boww chicca wow wow," I nudged her in the ribs and looked at Eric, who was still grinning. Who could expect anything different? We walked for a little while, just in silence... well me and Eric walked in silence. Everytime I looked at Eric, she gave a wolf whistle... everytime! In the end, everytime I looked at Eric, I would just hit her in the stomach.

"Oh my god! That is an ugly pig!" Tiff yelled from behind me and Eric. Eric didn't understand what she said... obviously because he didn't speak english. I spun around and saw her looking wide eyed at a wild boar. I snickered at her.

"Go! Kill the boar!" I yelled and she looked back at me, completely scared. I thought perhaps she was going to faint or something... that would have been funny.

Tiffany's POV

I starred at the pig thingy... It looked so ugly! And germ ridden! I don't want to touch it... It's like being mugged! Maybe if I threw money at it, it would run away. I don't want to go hunting anymore!

"Come on Tiff! It's just a boar!" Liar! It is a giant, snot ridden, wild pig! I stared into it's eyes... is it... is it giving me a death glare? Oh god, I think it's grinning... something bad is going to happen.

"THE PIG IS GOING TO EAT ME!" I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran to Alice, jumping into her arms, scooby-doo style.

"I DON'T WANT TO DIE AT THE HANDS OF A PIG!" Do pigs even have hands? I mean, they have hoof like feet...

Alice's POV

I began to laugh loudly with Tiffany in my hands. She looked stunned, scared, and I swear she was about to cry.

"Eric, can you handle the boar please?" I said through giggles. He went over, killed it and swung the carcass over his shoulder. I then put Tiffany down and the moment I did so she grabbed onto my leg.

"I will never be the same," Tiff said in a hushed voice and I giggled again. The moment we got back to the town, Eric dropped the meat of to... I think it was a butcher? I don't know, anyway. Me and Tiff sat by the well, looking deep into the dark abyss.

"I wonder what would happen if I pushed you into it..." I said and gave Tiffany an evil smirk. She shook her head at me before looking back down it.

"I wonder if it's clean..." She said as she leant over more into the well. By this time I was seriously fighting an urge to push her into it. It was still bright and early during the day, around 3 or so? I heard Tiffany gasp loudly, and she turned to me, stunned. Not as stunned as she was when she saw the pig, but still, stunned.

"What?" I said as sunk down from the brick well and sat with my back against it on the ground.

"Godric, we should check on him," She said still worried. She had a fair point, I don't know how much vikings knew about vampires, but we had to make sure Godric stayed alive-dead-undead.- capable of existing during the future, what ever you called it. We had to make sure he was it. I nodded and we skipped off towards the barn. Eric was dealing with the meat, so we would have a little while on our hands.

"We should only open the door for the tinniest amount, we don't want to hurt him," I said and Tiff nodded. We arrived at the barn, and I made sure no-one was around before I opened the door, pulled me and Tiff inside, and shut it.

"Where did you see him last?" I whispered and she pointed to the far right corner. The barn was empty, all the animals were gone, so was the hay. I crept around a fence of some sort before I spotted Godric, he groaned in pain. The were a few orbs of light dancing around the barn, it wasn't exactly light proof. But I suppose the people of this village didn't really care for the comfort of a vampire. I turned to Tiffany and shook my head. He didn't look well.

"Go to the place you stayed last night, with Lucas or whatever. Grab a blanket, and come here," I whispered, she nodded and ran out the barn door. Godric hissed in pain as the sunlight hit him. I crouched down near his limp form and pulled the silver chain off of him. Some may say that was a sweet thing to do... others may say really dumb. Well, I have to agree with the latter because that was possibly the dumbest thing I have ever done! But, after thinking for a few seconds I realised it was sun up, and he was probably too weak to attack anyway. I placed my hand on his sore face. The silver had really burnt him, badly.

"Are you okay?" I said as I caressed his cheek. I know... I am possibly the stupidest person known to man. Of course he wasn't okay! But he was Godric... and although Tiff had dibbs on him... that doesn't me I don't like him...

"My friends coming back with a blanket, it should cover you from the sunlight," I assured him and rolled him away from the orb of light that was getting a bit too close to his face. He looked really bad, and I was really worried about him.

"Do you need blood?" He nodded slightly and groaned in pain. I then grabbed the knife I had been given by Eric and looked at it. I am so, so, so, so frigging dumb!

"If I give you blood, do you promise not to drain me?" I whispered to him.

"I will not," He said in a hushed voice. I sighed, really loudly and instead of cutting myself with the knife, I, instead gave him my wrist. He grabbed it with both hands and then his fangs clicked out. I jumped a little at the sight, unsure if what I was doing, was a good thing. He then pressed his fangs into my wrist and began to drink, it only hurt a little bit, but he was probably too tired to get really into it. After I saw all of his wounds healed I got a little dizzy as he continued to drink.

"Please... stop," I said, still dizzy. He sucked a little more at it, but then he let go. I sighed in relief as he did so, he wasn't the kind and caring Godric of our times... well, the time I saw in True Blood. Thank god he stopped drinking! I was so scared just then!

"Thank you," I said happily and the dizziness subsided. He was still in his 'kill all humans' phase, so looking back on what I just did I cringed at myself. What. A. Moron.

"Why are you being kind to me?" He asked as I smoothed out his hair and sat next to him, trying to stop the suns rays from hitting him, still.

"Why shouldn't I be?" I questioned and lay down next to him. I was still spinning, so I needed to rest.

"I am vampire, aren't you scared?" I thought for a brief second... I wasn't that scared... afterall, I did just give him my blood.

"Well... you do drink peoples blood... and have probably killed more than your fair share of humans... But, I suppose, you don't really scare me because I just think of you as a regular person... in need of help," I said smiling.

"Also, I've been out in the sun all day, and I think I'm becoming delirious," I said and we both laughed.

"I have been in the sun all day aswell," He said as he turned to me, slowly.

"Then we're both delirious," I laughed back. There was a smile silence and I closed my eyes briefly.

"I remember you," He said and he touched my hair, I opened my eyes and bamm! Godric was leaning over me.

"This is the second time you have saved me. I wouldn't dare harm you," He said and I got confused. This was getting a little weird...Where the bloody hell was Tiffany? I smiled at him and was about to ask what he meant when the barn door swung open, revealing Tiffany, breathing heavily.

"Cover him, I'll be back," She said as she threw a blanket at me, she then sprinted out through the door, and slammed it shut. Curiouser and curiouser... I picked the blanket up and placed it on Godric's body. When I had completely covered him, I swear I heard him say 'thank you'. In Swedish, but I was too preoccupied.

"I have to go, but promise me, if I don't get back by sun down, you'll run away from here. Fast as you can... perhaps to Britannia," I suggested, knowing that in Britannia, that would be where he would meet Eric, after the wolf thing. I then sprinted off after Tiffany. I wonder what was happening...?

Tiffany's POV

That Gypsy cow! That's who I was chasing after! She brought me here, to this grotty place! I sprinted after her and into the woods, she was wearing the exact same clothing as the night I had met her. I heard Alice yell out behind me, but I continued on, wanting so badly to catch the gypsy and for her to take us back. After chasing her for a good few minutes, she vanished, out of my eye sight.

"What do you want from us!" I cried out. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around to see Alice, running towards me. As soon as she got close to me, she hugged me tightly as I cried into her shoulder.

"I just want to go home!" I cried and she hushed me, holding me closely.

"Tell me what happened," She said and I began to retell her what had happened to me, not even 10 minutes ago.

"I went back to Lucas', he wasn't home so I grabbed the blanket from his bedroom and then as I was going to exit the house, I heard something smash. I turned around and saw no-one. I went in the direction I heard it and then I saw her..."
"Saw who?"
"The woman who sent us here. She smiled at me, wickedly, and asked me how I was going..."

"What did you reply?"
"That I was going shitty, because some gypsy cow made us come to the viking era. She just laughed at me. I asked her to take me back to my time, all she said was that 'our vacation to when is not nearly over, we have many more stops along the way' and then she ran out of the house,"
"And you chased after her? With the blanket?" I nodded at Alice and she comforted me.

"I followed her through here, but I lost track of her," I cried and Alice hugged me again.

"Hey... hush. It's fine, we'll get out of here," She said and I thought about her words.

"Do you even want to leave?" I questioned and her silence was all that I needed from her.

"It's not about if I want to leave Tiff, it's about us needing to leave," She said before she grabbed my hand and led me out of the forest. We walked past the barn and arrived at the kings house. Eric immediately walked up to Alice, smiling, and hugged her. She always was the prettier one...

"What was that for?" She asked as soon as they finished hugging.

"I missed you," Alice is soooo getting laid tonight. I saw my friend blush and turned to look at the room. Lucas was there, sitting alone, so I decided to sit next to him, better than being around those love birds... hah, who would have thought, Eric Northman, a love bird?

"How was your day?" I said as I sat next to him. The sun was only just peeking up and it was close to dark.

"Fine, I did what I had to, then I went to the bar," I think that's what he said... I assumed he meant a bar... sounded like bar... It's sooooo confusing...

"How was that?" He sighed and looked at me with his sad eyes.

"Horrid," He said and I reluctantly placed an arm on his shoulder... not really wanting to get my hands dirty.

"Why?"

"I don't wish to burden you with my problems. I see you made a friend, do you remember anything more?" Oh yes... my white lie about not remembering jack squat. Time to right a few wrongs.

"Yes, I remembered my name, 'Tiffany'. I also remembered my friend Alice, we were travelling together... although, I don't understand why I was naked..." And I hated the fact I had to wear these old clothes. They were itchy! Oh god... what if the clothes had lice on- no! Think happy thoughts... happy thoughts.

And you thought I forgot about you... pshawww. Although, I do apologise to any 'Sookies cousin' fans out there, I'm having trouble... Also, sorry for any grammar errors...any-who! Review for more chapters! I hope you liked this extra long one! Well... who doesn't like extra long ones? And yes... if you haven't guess, that was an innuendo... Sorry, but you were all thinking it! It had to be said! Okay, enough crazy ramblings... Feel free to yell at me about the spelling!
