Chapter Two

Edward Anthony Masen Cullen

EPOV

"OOH OOH OHH! I can't wait to go shopping for my little sister!" Alice, our pixie like sister yelled.

"Hey hey hey!" Emmett yelled. "Who said we were getting a sister? I want a little brother! We're gonna become the best prank buddies ever!" he continued enthusiastically. All of us groaned while he had a cheeky grin on his face.

"Don't even think about it Emmett!" Rosalie said through clenched teeth. She was remembering the time Emmett put green paint in her shampoo. She had to wear a hat to school for a week. I couldn't help but chuckle. Rose turned to face me and gave me a death glare. I just shrugged at her.

"Aww, Rosie, don't be like that!" Emmett whined. Rose just smacked him in the back of his head.

We were in the car on our way to Forks orphanage. Esme thought that we needed a new member of the family. Everyone thought it was a great idea. Everyone, but me. It took me a while to agree with them. I mean, did they forget that we were vampires? How are we going to raise a child? An innocent little kid.

With love and a good home, Edward. Esme thought to me while turning from the passenger seat to smile gently at me.

I swear, sometimes, I think she's the mind reader in the family. I just smiled back at her.

Emmett saw our exchange and said, "Oh, come'on Eddie-boy!" I cringed at the name. "Don't go all emo on us now!" Emmett continued.

"I'm not emo." I said while using air quotes on the word "emo". "And don't call me Eddie!" I snarled at him.

"Whatever Edwardo!" he replied. I have no idea why Esme said she wanted a new member of the family, we already have Emmett. And he was more than enough. Believe me, when I say he's enough. He's enough. I wonder how Rosalie got used to to him. I know I wouldn't. Not ever.

"We're hereeeeeeee!" Alice squealed, dragging the word "here". I covered my ears.

"Geeez pixie! Calm yo' tits! We know, woman!" Emmett yelled at her. Alice just stuck her tongue out at him. Typical.

"Language." Esme sang.

"Sorry, mom." Emmett replied sheepishly.

"Okay, let's go inside shall we?" Carlisle suggested. We got out of the car and knocked on the door.

The door opened and short lady with long brown hair was standing behind it with a kind smile on her face. "Oh, you must be the Cullens, I'm Claire! It's nice to meet you." She introduced herself. She stepped aside and opened the door wider and said, "Please, come in!"

We stepped in and heard a loud clang and an "OW!" coming from the level above us. "Oh," Claire said "Those must be the boys, I'll go get them." she continued. "Please, make yourself comfortable in the living room, the kids will be down soon." she said with a smile and she bolted up the stairs.

"Oooh, she said boys! Awesome." Emmett said. "Were they wrestling? It sure sounded like it." he continued while looking at me for confirmation. I nodded to him. "Sweet!" he said. I sighed and looked around.

Suddenly, a short little girl with blond hair and blue eyes skipped into the room. She was wearing a pink puffy skirt with lots of layers. "Hi!" she said enthusiastically. I like her. Alice thought to me. Of course she did, she was wearing pink! We greeted her.

Later, 2 boys came in to the room, the first one had blond hair and blue eyes and the second one had brown hair and green eyes. They were both wearing simple t-shirts with jeans. "Hey." "Sup." they said at the same time. They came over to me, Emmett and Jasper to give us each fist bumps.

Few minutes later, Claire came back with a brown haired little girl by her side. She was wearing a blue tank top and knee lengthen jeans. Her hair reached her waist and she was biting her nails. She's nervous? Why would she be nervous? Her other hand was playing with a strand of her hair. She had a cute button nose and had the most beautiful eyes. Her eyes were chocolate brown and they were so deep. I swear, I could see right into her soul. After a while, I noticed she was staring at me, I gave her a small smile and she smiled back.

"Okay, so now that everyone's here, I'm gonna leave you guys to it." Claire said with a smile while walking out of the living room. The browned eyed little girl walked towards the couch and sat next to the boy with brown hair. I couldn't help but feel jealous.

Jasper sensing my jealousy sent me a couple of calming waves, Dude, what the hell? He thought to me. I just shrugged. My jealousy surprised me as well.

Okay, well, let me introduce you to my family, I'm Carlisle Cullen, and this," bringing Esme closer to him, "is my beautiful wife,-" "Esme." she said cutting him off with a smile. Suddenly, the big duffos everyone calls Emmett jumped up and yelled, "Hi! I'm Emmet and I'm the good looking one in the family!" the kids laughed because they thought he was funny but we laughed because we were denying it. Rose smacked Emmet behind the head and said, "Emmett, sit down." Emmett sat down immediately and said, "Sorry, Rosie." with a sheepish smile. Rose just rolled her eyes at him and turned to the kids with a warm smile and said, "I'm Rosalie." They all turned to Jasper and he said, "Jasper." with a smile and a nod. "Hi! I'm Alice!" she said a little too enthusiastically. All four of them turned to face me and I said, "Hello, I'm Edward."

"Cool!" the blond girl said, "Well, I'll start first! I'm Annabeth but I prefer Annie, I'm 6 and I love the color pink, I love watching Hannah Montana, I love playing princess and I loooooooove shopping!" she yelled the last part making all of us laugh. "OH OH! And Justin Bieber is gonna be my future husband!" she continued. "He just doesn't know it yet!" We laughed at her again. Justin Bieber I thought to myself. Of course! Kids and their pop music these days. I sighed.

"OOH OOH OOH! Can we keep her?" that, of course, was from Alice. I turned to her and saw that she was jumping up and down in her seat while clapping her hands. "Alice, dear, why not give there others a chance." Esme said while trying not to laugh at her. Alice eventually calmed down with Jasper's help.

"Okaaaay?" the blond guy said, dragging the work "okay." "Now, that you've heard what this-" he said while patting Annie's head "little princess had to say," using air quotes on "princess" "it's time for the show to really start." he continued while rubbing his hands together. "I'm Drake, I'm 8 and I like to wrestle. I love video games, football and watching car shows on tv. And, I hate girls cause I think they're stupid." he ended making Emmett and Jasper laugh.

"HEY!" The brown eyed girl and Annie shouted at the same time. "You're the stupid one, stupid!" Annie yelled.

"Suuuure." Drake said dragging out the word. "Keep thinking that princess." he said while ruffling her hair, Annie swatted his hand away and slumped back into the couch with a "Hmmpph."

"Man, I like him." Emmett said, while nudging Jasper's shoulder. "He has a sense of humor." unlike Eddie-boy over there he continued mentally. I growled at him. Jasper smiled and agreed whole heartedly.

"Well then," Carlisle said interrupting them, amused, "let's continue shall we?" All of us nodded. "What's your name?" he asked while gesturing to the boy with brown hair.

"I'm Alex and I'm 8" he said, "I'm much like Drake but I think girls aren't stupid." he paused while he looked at the brown haired girl, "I think they're fun!" he continued with big smile. She smiled back at him and I couldn't help but growl at him lowly.

Dude, what's your problem? Jasper thought to me. I just ignored me. I didn't even know.

"Ladies man." I heard Jasper said to Emmett. "Nice." Emmett replied. And then they turned to Carlisle with pleading looks "Can we keep them both?" they yelled. All of us laughed. Carlisle looked at them while trying to hold in his own laughter and said "Jasper, Emmett, they're not pets."

"You know-" Annie said, interrupting Jasper and Emmett and getting all of our attention, "if you're looking for the mixture of all 3 of us, it's Bella you want!" she said cheerfully.

I turned to the brown haired girl, Bella I thought. It suits her, I declared. Bella means beautiful in Italian, and she was very beautiful. I saw her blush and look down. And then I noticed, she smells weird. I decided to tell Carlisle later.

"Why don't you tell us about yourself, sweetie?" Rosalie said softly while smiling kindly at her.

"Ummm, well," she stuttered. Oh! She's so cute! Esme, Alice and Rosalie thought at the same time. I silently agreed. "I'm Isabella but I prefer Bella, I'm 6 and I love to read. I like the color purple, and I let Annie torture me with her princess parties-" "HEY!" Annie yelled, cutting her off. "You know you like it." she muttered. Bella rolled her eyes at her and said, "No, I don't." Annie just stuck her tongue out at her. All of us chuckled. "Anyways, I also like to play video games with Alex and watch car shows with Drake," she paused, while clapping her tiny hands together and batting her eyelashes "My dream car is an Audi." she said with a swoon face. All of us laughed at her while Rosalie was impressed. "I also watch cooking channels with Claire on the weekends and baseball is my favorite sport. Oh, and I love to sing!" she said the last part enthusiastically. "And i play the piano a little." she added. I was impressed. She loves to read, knows about cars, and plays the piano. Sounds like we had a lot in common.

Me, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie and Alice looked at each other for a moment and jumped out of our seats and yelled "SHE'S THE ONE!" over and over again while pointing at Bella.

"Okay okay, calm down kids." Carlisle said while trying to calm all of us down. We did calm down after a while with Jasper's help. Carlisle turned to Bella with a gentle smile on his face and asked, "Bella, do you want to be apart of our family?"

Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes! All of us thought together.
