Danny:*eye twitching*
Me: Anyways I don't own anything!
Dani's POV
I blinked open my eyes, only to see a blur of colors because of my aching head. "Did you get the number on that semi?" I asked. A soft chuckle sounded somewhere to my left. I blinked by eyes one more time to clear them. This time when I opened my eyes I saw I was lying in an all-white room with Aqualad sitting to my left holding my hand.
"Sorry, I don't think Robin is fuming that he got beat by a girl." He said. I giggled
"I can see that" he grinned
"You feeling better, I don't know what happened out there one second we were congratulating you the next you were in my arms, passed out." Did I imagine the slight blush that rose into is cheeks? I know I myself blushed,
No he doesn't like you that way! What guy would want to date a clone that is supposed to be a guy?
I decided to answer him, "I shouldn't have used duplication it used up a lot of energy. So much I couldn't even stay conscious." He looked concerned.
"Are you sure you're ok?" I rolled my eyes
"One, this has happened multiple times to my dad and me, Two, I'm in no way a weak little girl who needs watching over, even Dad understands that. And three why would you care we just met a few weeks ago?"
Ok not imagining the blush this time.
"Well One, how was I supposed to know that, Two, I never said you were a weak little girl that needs watching and Danny probably only knows that because he knows you will kill him if he thought that, and Three that doesn't mean we aren't good friends by now and I don't care about ." he retorted.
"Let's just go back to the others." I said trying to hide my blush. We got up and started to walk out of the small room?
"So what happened why I was out?" he understood.
"Well Cy won over BB it was pretty funny to watch because Cy was barely trying and he still whipped the floor, literally, with Beast boy. Um, Hilten I think his name is went against Kagura." he flinched, "He tried to hit on her during the fight and it wasn't pretty. Next Speedy got his ass handed to him on a silver platter by Starfire. Next, Deathstroke or as we know him Slade, beat Poison Ivy her mind control didn't even work on him. Then Harley destroyed Undergrown?"
"Undergrowth." I corrected
"Undergrowth with a giant weed whacker, where gets carries this stuff is a mystery to me. And finally Vlad defeated Jinx." I nodded
"Who's battling right now?" I asked when I heard a bunch of noise coming from up ahead.
"I think this is Danny's and Inuyasha's battle." He answered. I smirked,
"Oh I've got to see this." I ran into the arena. On the screen I saw Dad was at a large disadvantage because they were in a forest similar to the one where I met Inuyasha. I also noticed that Inuyasha had yet to pull his sword.
"Dad's in for a big beating." I stated but only Aqualad noticed
"What do you mean?"
"Inuyasha has a sword called the Tessaiga. It has a move called the Wind Scar, which rips apart the air and everything that is around it. It doesn't hurt as much when your intangible but it still hurts like hell and yes I know from experience." He looked bewildered.
"It can touch you when you're intangible?"
"When your intangible your still there so when the air is ripped apart you can feel it. You can still feel the fist and blast but the pain comes from the contact." he nodded and watched as Inuyasha finally pulled his sword. Everyone, from this time, gasped as the old rusty sword transformed into its long huge self.
"What is that made out of?" asked Ivy
"His father's fang." everyone stared at me.
"He is a hanyou, or half demon, his father was a very powerful demon. I know because I went back in time and traveled with him for go back to watching" everyone turned back to the screen in time to see him raise the sword.
"WIND SCAR!" a trail of yellow flew from the sword. It ripped apart trees and the ground heading straight at Dad. He didn't have time to get out of the way or throw up a shield, he went intangible. The wave hit him much to his shock. In a flash of light both were transformed from the forest. When they appeared next to me, Inuyasha had his sword away and was helping dad up.
"That was very impressive." Dad said with a goofy grin. The red x on his shoulder was the only thing that told you that he had lost.
"Thanks, you're not bad yourself." Inuyasha said.
Dad turned to me, and his eyebrow raised. I was confused until I followed his eyes to see that my fingers were still intertwined with Aqualad's. I blushed, as did Aqualad, before dropping his hand. Inuyasha smirked, and I groaned. I teased him endlessly about Kagome, now it looked like he was repaying the favor. He opened his mouth, no doubt to start teasing me, but he was cut off by the MOG.
"CONGRAULATION WINNERS OF THE FIRST ROUND! THE SECOND ROUND, VILLIAN VS. HERO SHALL BEGIN NOW." In a flash Cyborg and Technes. There wasn't much to watch. Technes tried to take over Cy's systems, but after a little while Cy forced him out, and fired his cannon with the improvement Dad had made so it fired an ecto-blast as well as regular sonic energy.
Next: Starfire vs. Kagura. Winner: Starfire. Starfire claims that she won because there is a beast similar to Kagura on her home planet. That doesn't change the fact that she was totally scary. She beat Kagura quickly, she didn't hold back one bit. It scared everyone who had just met her because they had only seen her as an innocent little alien. That idea went out the window the second she entered the barren landscape with Kagura. I found out that the translated in my brain worked on alien langue too, but the things she said dad would probably freak if he heard come out of my mouth.
Battle three: Aqualad vs. Vlad.
"Good luck." I whisper, laying my hand on his arm. He blushed slightly, and went to say something but he got flashed out. They appeared in a forest with a good sized river. It was 30 feet wide and maybe 10 feet deep running out into the distance in both directions.
Aqualad's POV
I frowned at the older man. I had not seen him battle before because I was waiting with Dani, so I had no idea how he fights other than that he is a halfa. I watch rings appear, similar to the Phantom's only pitch black, transformed him into what looked like a vampire from the silly humans fantasy stories. He was in between me. I tried to get to the water but he sent me flying with a pink blast to the stomach.
"Tut, tut, you have to do better than that to get past me." I growled. I usually don't judge people, but I wanted to kill this guy. His stuck up attitude plus what he did to my Dani. Wait my Dani we're did that comefrom? I shouldn't of got on that train of thoughts, because Vlad had taken the chance to blast, punch, kick me. I groaned as I got hit fauther back from the water. In the water I could contol it without a thought, but on land I need a second to concentrate but he wasn't giving it to me. Its like he knew but I certainly never told anyone this so how did he know? He continued to beat me up but I was in no way fit to still fight why hadn't the MOG taken him out?
"Looks like your not going to get out of here alive. I guess you were a nice warm up for when I have to kill that stupid excuse for a clone!" he hissed into my ear. I could feel my already dark eyes darken. I sprang to my feet much to his surprise
"Noone. Speaks. Like. That. About. Dani!" I say in a deathly whisper. For the first time I see emotion in the old ghost eyes that doesn't fit his 'greater then thou' additude, it was fear. I called up a funnel of water around me, and all the water left the river. I was standing in the two foot diameter eye of the category five hurricane I had just created. I walk towards the man in front of me, had been forced to the ground by the sheer force of the storm.
"What, you, should be able to do this! Your weak!" I grabbed him by the front of the shirt.
"I may be weak but there is one thing every Alanitian(I think someone told me this before but I can't remeber how to spell it!)knows is to protect our 'an chroí'*" I hissed so low only he can hear. I push him down and step back moving the eye of the storm away from him. I closed my eyes and concentrated. the storm grew more violent lighting flashed, thunder roared but still I did not calm. I did not calm until I felt the warm familiar arms wrap around me.
"Calm down, Garth" My heart fluttered at her using my real name. I turn around to see the angel that was Dani. "The MOG flashed Vlad out of here and he's now in the ICU but he couldn't flash you back or the storm you created would of came killing everyone." she whispered letting go of my waist and grabbing my waist. I blushed and called off the storm. As we flashed out of there I felt the adrenaline leave my system making me very dizzy. I could barely see the room when the light faded.
"It's your turn to return the favor." I whispered to dani before collapsing into her arms.
Dani's POV
I watched as Aqualad got beat horribly by Vlad. Every blow that made contact I cringed feeling the pain with him. I was sure he was beat, but why did the MOG, not flash them back in. I saw Vlad whisper something to him before charging up a huge ecto-blast. My eyes widen, That much power would kill him! I held my tears back. I was sure I going to lose him but he jack-knifed to his feet, much to the surprise of everyone. Vlad dropped the blast as all the water from the river left the riverbed.
"Noone. Speaks. Like. That. About. Dani!" he said in a cold whisper.
I watched in amazement as a violent storm formed around Aquald. He walked over to Vlad and says something that is lost in the wind. The storm grows worse. In a flash Vlad is out of there, but Aqualad stays still. I feel the feeling of flashing appeared around me. A voice whispered in my ear what I needed to know. I appeared right behind him. Before I could stop myself, I wrapped my arms around his midsection.
"Calm down, Garth." His given name slipped out. I blushed and went to apologies when I noticed he had relaxed. He turned around and faced me I gave him the info and watched him blush as he called off the storm. We were flashed out holding hands. When the light faded I heard him whisper, faintly.
"It's your turn to return the favor." I turned just in time to catch. Him in my arms. I looked down worried, barly noticing the slight smile that graced his lips. I picked him up and raced out the room down to the room were I first woke up. Behind me someone yelled, "Déjà vu."
*Danny is strapped in a chain with chains snapping randomly foam seeping from his mouth like a mad dog*
