A/N: I was really bored, and despite there being a load of homework I should be doing I wrote this. R&R!
Mercedes missed Kurt.
Yeah, sure, he was back at McKinley. And, yeah, she had three classes and glee club with him. But she felt like she didn't have him at all.
Throughout all of his classes he would doodle on his notebook, not really paying attention, or just stare out the window, daydreaming. In glee club he would tune out or Rachel or whoever was babbling at the front of the room and play with his phone, texting back and forth with some unknown person.
Mercedes could guess who it was. She had seen how teary eyed Kurt and Blaine had gotten when she saw them in the courtyard. While she was surprised at the extent of their friendship (they had only know each other for a few months) she couldn't say the constant texting and daydreaming was unexpected. Kurt had told her about his crush on Blaine.
"Hey, Kurt."
Glee club was about to start. When Mercedes heard the voice she looked up to see Blaine leaning against the doorframe, eyes glued on Kurt.
"Blaine! What are you doing here!" Kurt got up from his chair, moving over towards his friend.
"I came to visit you." Blaine lowered his voice to the point where Mercedes couldn't hear them anymore. Kurt glanced around at the glee club, who were all staring at him, and took Blaine's hand, leading him outside and shutting the door.
However, he failed to account for the window implanted in all of the school doors.
The glee club watched intently as he spoke to Blaine. Kurt laughed, laying his hand on Blaine's shoulder and staring at him with dove eyes so blatantly obvious Mercedes was surprised Blaine didn't say anything.
"He's never been that okay with Kurt's flirting," Tina murmured to her. Mercedes shrugged, her eyes glued to the scene outside. Kurt handed Blaine something, who smiled and laid a hand on his shoulder. Kurt whispered something to Blaine who shrugged, glanced around, and muttered something. Then, slowly, Kurt leaned in and kissed Blaine.
It wasn't a kiss on the cheek or the forehead- it was directly on the lips and Blaine immediately responded. It was accompanied by shrieks and exclamations from the glee club.
"Wanky!"
"Get some, Hummel!"
"Oh my god!"
"Did you see that!"
Kurt yanked his head from Blaine's and turned it towards the choir room, blushing when he realized they could see them. Keeping his hand firmly entwined with Blaine's he pushed open the choir room door.
"Wanky! Get some, Hummel!" Santana was the first to speak.
"Hummel, why were you kissing him?" Mercedes demanded. A smile split Blaine's face as he turned to look at Kurt.
"You-you didn't tell them yet?" Kurt blushed and shook he head sending Blaine into a fit of laughter.
"Tell us what?"
"That, erm, that we're- oh, god, this is really awkward..."
Blaine recovered enough to save Kurt from the awkward situation. "That we're dating."
The room exploded into cheers. "Finally, Hummel! I thought you two were never going to get together!"
Kurt shrugged, his blush becoming, if possible, even more red.
"So, Anderson, you tapped that yet?"
"Yeah, is Hummel any good in bed?"
"Alright, Blaine, you need to go. There's probably a Warblers rehearsal you need to get to, right?"
Blaine nodded, kissing kurt on the cheek before waving. "See you later, Kurt."
"Seriously, have you tapped that?"
