The Bright Sun: Chapter 1

Haha hey this is my first fanfic so uhh I hope you enjoy reading it and umm yup so no hating guys :P. By the way I named my story the Bright Sun because my OC's name is what it means.

Death the Kid POV

I awoke. What I last remembered ran through my head. The girl and I were being rushed to the hospital. Yet, she kept mumbling. "Maka…..M-Maka" what business does she have with Maka?

3 hours earlier

" Father why did you call us?" I asked, perplexed. "I have a mission for you. There is an abandoned village near the Pyramid Anubis. And it became abandoned in just 6 hours." My eyes widened. "Who could've done such a thing?" I asked him. "My guess is that a kishin has done this so I want you to investigate is that ok with you? Hmm?" I nodded "Good! Good! Well good luck on the mission Kid! Cya! Chao!" Father said waving his ridiculously giant hands. I sighed. A serious conversation and then back to the carefree Grim Reaper. Sometimes Father can be too relaxed. As I walked out of the school, I summoned Beezlebub and I was off to the ruins of Pyramid Anubis to the abandoned village.

I landed near the entrance of the village. I looked around. It was a complete mess. "What could've happened here?" Liz asked shaking. I knew she was freaked out since the village was abandoned. "Calm down Liz now you and Patty change into weapon form. We have no idea what's out here." "OK!" They yelled together. I grabbed them with no faults on the left or right side. I smirked "Absolutely perfect"

We searched the village in every possible building we could find, or what was left of them. Then I heard it. A kishin. I went to investigate and to my shock, I saw a girl. Her arm was was transformed into a scythe. A weapon? I saw her but there was no meister. Does she work alone? Soon I saw the kishin throws its claws at her. She just barely dodged it but blood started to drip from her arm. That's when I decided to step in. I shot at the kishin was stunned and fell down. I looked at it closely. Right…Left….." YOU ARE A DISGRACE! YOU ARE NOT SYMMETRICAL! YOU'RE RIGHT CLAWS HAVE FIVE AND THE OTHER HAND HAS SIX! DIE!" I shot repeatedly at the horrible creature. Soon enough out came a kishin egg. Then I heard footsteps. I looked behind me and saw the girl walking up to me, breathing heavily due to her exhaustion and blood loss. "Where is she? " I stared at her curiously? "Who?" "M-Maka Albarn." She nearly fell when I caught her. "I-I n-need to see her.." She had fainted. I quickly summoned for help. Soon enough a helicopter came and threw a rope. I carried the girl on my back and we got in the helicopter. Nygus bandaged her arm quickly and put her on a coma. I heard the girl's soft breaths. Soon her eyes fluttered open. "Ngh..Where-Where am I?" I responded, "You were losing a lot of blood from you're arm and then you fainted. Luckily I called for help and killed the kishin egg." She sat up and looked at me. She had light brown wavy hair and she had a sea blue pair of eyes. "Where is Maka Albarn?" I glared at her. "Why are yo-" She clutched my collar and asked very excitingly, " You know where she is?" I responded shocked by her excitement, "Yes. As a matter of fact we're going to where she is at right now." Then she shouted with glee "Thank you so much!" She let go of me. All of a sudden, the helicopter was hit. "SID WHAT THE HELL?" I screamed. "We were attacked by a missle from the abandoned village!" "WHAT? I had just finished my mission there!" I looked down and saw the same mummies from Anubis. "Damn I should've checked Anubis too." " BRACE YOURSELVES WE'RE GONNA CRASH!" Sid yelled. I looked at the girl who was freaking out. I grabbed a hold of her and braced her as well then it was all black.
