Hi, this is my new story. :D

Sky's point of view

They're after me. I just knew it was a bad time to come out, but I had no food for a week and I am getting really thirsty. But now food and water are the least of my worries. Escaping from the aliens that had took my mom's, best friends, and dad's body were chasing me so I could play host for them. I monkeyed over a fence and kept running. My lungs felt they were about to burst and my breathing is shallow. But I kept running.

"Please stop, we're not going to hurt you!" The alien lied. They just say that so they can take over my body, but that isn't happening for a long time. I finally found a hole small enough for me and crawled in. The aliens caught up but they were too tall and big for the small hole.

"Come out, please. We promise we won't hurt you." The alien in my dad's body said. He used to be so kind. Now look at him.

"I'm not coming out. Go and find someone else." I said and huddled inside my hole. I started to think about how all of this could have happened.

Well first, there were just people who were different. I mean different. Last time they were violent and now they wouldn't hurt a fly. And they also had a silver ring round their pupil. I sighed. Sometimes people would go to the doctors and then come out with the silver eyes. And then my family and friends were targets.

"Come out please, we won't hurt you." my mom said.

"You took away my family and friends. I think that's what you call hurting." I said back. I heard whispering. I swallowed and rubbed my arms. It isn't very warm in here.

"Do you want food and water? I know your very hungry and very thirsty. If you come out then we'll give it to you." My used to friend said. I shook my head.

"Then what will you do? Kill me?" I retorted. I looked away then I felt a hand then being dragged out. I struggled, bit and scratched but they weren't budging. At the last moment I saw my mother and saw she was holding a can.

"I saw in your mom's memories. She really likes you and wouldn't want you hurt in any way. We'll try and make this as painless as possible." She said. A street lamp turned on and the silver round her eyes reflected, showing what is inside her. I shivered. Something dawned on me. A sort of brightness.

"Wait! Is my mom still alive in there?" I asked. She shook her head.

"Only her memories." she said. That bit of hope drained away. I turned around and kicked the alien as hard as possible where it hurt. He let go of me and keeled over. Then I ran away.

When I was far enough away, I stopped running. I collapsed near by a river and scooped the water and drank. Then I lay down and fell into a restless sleep.

The next day, I got up and had another drink from the river. Then I got up and looked for something to eat. I found a tree and ate the fruit from it. It felt like heaven. The fruit had water and tasty food in. After I had ate it I decided to go look for my mom and dad. I know it's crazy and I could die, but when I saw her I just knew she isn't like the others.

Getting my water bottle and filling it up with the water from the river and geting a few of the fruits from the tree, I set off.

Back to civilisation I kept my eyes down so no-one will notice. Then only looking up to make sure I didn't bump into anyone or anything I walked to where I used to live. Arriving back home I looked up at it. I suddenly wondered what they did to animals. I couldn't take my dog.

Taking a deep breath I walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell. The very person who I wanted to talk to opened the door.

"Hello Sky. How nice to meet you. Come in." She said, opening the door wider. I shook my head.

"I know what your going to do and I'm not falling for it. We talk out here." I said, firmly. The smile left the alien's face.

"What do you want to talk about?" she asked.

"About taking my family and if my mom is still in there." I said.

"I already told you. She isn't. I've supressed her and she isn't coming back. So why don't you come in, out of the cold?" the alien said. I shook my head.

"I'm staying out here."

"I promise I'll make it as painless as possible." she said. I still shook my head. She sighed. "What do you want then?"

"I want you, the alien, to get out of my mom's body and give her back." I said. Alien shook her head.

"Now you and I both know that is never going to happen." she said. I ran through my options. The first one was to look for any remaining humans, but I still haven't found any. The second was to ask the alien to get out of my moms body and go to a different planet. The third was kind of force.

"Look Alien ..." I started.

"Would you like to know my name, instead of calling me alien?" she asked. I shook my head.

"No, because you won't be in that body long." I said. The alien got hold of my arm.

"Then, we'll have to do something about that, won't we?" she asked. Then she said, slightly louder. "Burning Stars, please get the Sleep. I have a human here."

Realizing what she was going to do I struggled but she is stronger than I thought. The alien in dad's body came with the Sleep bottle and before I could do anything he sprayed it in my face. I instantly fell asleep.
