Hey I am back with another chapter! I am so sad. No one reviewed my story. Tell me is my story bad? : ( Well please review and tell me what you think. I don't own Ghost Hunt. All I own is the story, the necklaces, the rings, and certain characters. O.W.T.S!

Last time on Ghost Hunt: I smiled again and I headed inside to reach Mina. Once I did, I gave her, her necklace and I gave her the note. She nodded. We both then headed back to base with the necklace and ring on. (Mai's POV) Well I don't own Ghost Hunt. O.W.T.S!

Naru's POV

As soon as Mina left the room, I wanted to follow but something was stopping me. I sighed and stayed in base. Half an hour after she left, she came back with . . . Mai.

I let out a sigh of relief. I then noticed that both Mai and Mina were wearing a necklace and a ring. I frowned and before I could ask, Mai said, "Long story short, when Mina and I went to the backyard, we found this and more."

I nodded and Mina and Mai sat down next to each other. I then noticed that the sun was rising. Mai stood up and muttered, "Why did this all go bad?" It was in English, but everyone understood every word. (A/N: Everyone meaning Lin, Mina, and Naru. The others aren't up yet.)

I looked at her with a raised eyebrow and she said, "Naru, I mean this case. Why did this go wrong? I mean when we got here, it was perfect until the moment we got into base ready. I should have known this was going to happen."

I sighed and walked over to her. I said, "Mai, it's alright. We will get this case over with soon. Don't worry." Mai wasn't convinced, but she nodded and said, "Alright Naru." She then smiled.

I couldn't help, but smile back. Mai then sat down next to Mina and whispered something into Mina's ear. Mina nodded and whispered something back.

They both continued that and I just ignored them seeing as to how Gene and I would do the same when we were younger.

Mina stood up and said, "Mai, come on let's go." Mai just said, "Not now. Wait until tomorrow. Besides we have to get ready." This caught my interests and Mai looked at me. She said, "Naru, it's nothing besides you all will find out tomorrow."

I raised an eyebrow and Mai sighed. She said, "Don't ask. Please don't ask. I can't explain to you what would happen. Let's forget about it for now."

I nodded and then the others came into the room talking loudly as ever.

Mai's POV

I glanced at my few seconds older sister. She was talking to Gene and it was then I noticed something funny. I noticed that the evil presence in the house just grew thicker. It was getting harder and harder for me to breath. Gene and Mina seemed to have noticed this too because they stopped talking and looked at me with shock.

I opened the connection between us and I said, "Can you deal with it for a bit? I will try to purify this room."

I saw them nod and I closed my eyes. I slowly controlled my PK and spiritual power around me. Slowly I released it. What I didn't notice was the fact that Martin was getting closer to me.

I felt the room purify. As soon as I took a deep breath, I didn't notice Martin in front of me. He raised his hand to my shoulder.

He tapped my shoulder, but when he touched my shoulder, I didn't stay put like a normal person would after being tapped lightly. Instead, I started to fall off the seat I was in.

I took a deep breath in and before I could hit the floor, I was floating only a few inches off the ground with the help of my PK. I then looked at Martin with a glare, but then I sighed and smiled.

Once I sat down properly in my chair, I said, "Martin-san, what is it?" Martin looked at me and said, "I was wondering if you are okay. You have been getting captured and then coming back before getting captured again. Now your wound on your neck and arm is opened again."

I sweat dropped as I remembered the wound on my arm and neck. I touched my arm and saw the blood. I then felt my neck. Sure enough, both places, blood was pouring, but not enough to drown me in my own blood.

I saw Ayako come towards me with bandages. She patched me up before she said, "Mai, stop being careless." I rolled my eyes and smiled. I said, "Since when was I careless?"

Mina giggled at that and I smirked. Mina then said, "Masako can you sense anything?" I looked at Masako and she covered her mouth with her kimono sleeved hand.

She said, "I sense the presence, but there was a stronger presence in the room, but it disappeared as if it wasn't there in the first place." Everyone looked at me and I sweat dropped again. Bou-san said, "Mai, you didn't do it right?"

I sweat dropped again and said, "Ha ha, why would I? I mean, I need to save power for something else." That really didn't convince them. I sighed and said, "Yes, I did."

John and Yasu said, "Mai, you shouldn't use your powers that much." I nodded and said, "I needed to or else Mina, Gene, and I would have died in this room right then and there. The reason is simple; the presence is getting heavier as the full moon gets closer."

They nodded and then Ami-san came into the room holding a tray filled with tea. She noticed that I was in the room and said, "Oh Mai, thank goodness you're safe." I nodded and then I helped her with the tray.

We both passed the tea. As soon as that was done, I said, "So~ did anyone find anything new while I was kidnapped, found, kidnapped, and found again?"

They shook their heads "no" and I sighed. Mina said, "Mai?" I looked at her and said, "Let's go practice. Everyone stay in base and do what you guys normally do. Mina and I will be going . . . out."

Naru looked at me and I smiled at him before shaking my head. He sighed and said, "Come back in 2 hours." I nodded and I grabbed Mina's hand before we left base.

Mina said, "Mai, where are we headed?" I looked at her and then said, "Backyard. It is the only place where we can practice."

I continued to lead Mina to the backyard. Once we got there, I found a bench for us to sit and we sat there. Mina said, "I'll go first and then you could go next."

I nodded and said, "Brilliant idea because if I went first, it would be easier for "someone" to find me. "Someone" being Cody."

Mina closed her eyes and I said, "Alight, Mina breath in and out for a while. As soon as you do that, synchronize it by counting up until 2."

Mina did and soon enough, I found that she was in the trance. I then said, "Mina, reach out with your mind and picture the house. Nod if you do."

I waited and soon she nodded. As soon as she nodded, I said, "Look around the house and see if you can pinpoint the spirits locations and tell me."

I waited a few minutes and Mina said, "Basement, first floor living room, second floor kid's room and base." I nodded and said, "Mina, slowly, but carefully open your eyes."

She slowly opened her eyes and when she opened them fully, she smiled at me. I smiled back and said, "Mina, there are 2 parts of this training. You just finished part 1. Are you ready?"

Mina nodded and I said, "Alright, this one is to help you not lose a lot of energy after a spiritual attack. You don't use a lot of power, but the power used will feel as if you used a lot of power. Do you get what I am saying?"

Mina nodded and I said, "Alright. Focus your concentration on me. As soon as you do, raise your right hand."

Mina nodded and did what she was told. I waited and then she put her hand up. I nodded and said, "As soon as that is done, focus only bits of your spiritual and then say this, "Protect them, protect me, and protect us now as we weak have for-seen."It needs to be said 3 times in order for it to work. After you say that protection spell, you have to say "Min, Lie, Shou, Sha, Kei, Kin, Metsu, Zin, Zai."

As I said that, Mina started to do as I told her. Mina said, "Protect them, protect me, and protect us now as we weak have for-seen. Protect them, protect me, and protect us now as we weak have for-seen. Protect them, protect me, and protect us now as we weak have for-seen. Min, Lie, Shou, Sha, Kei, Kin, Metsu, Zin, Zai."

Mina moved her hands in the nine cuts and I couldn't help, but smile because this was the way how to say it. It's just like the ones that Bou-san and Ayako taught me, but this is different too.

As soon as Mina said the last word, her power was released. I quickly set up a barrier made of my PK to deflect the shot. My barrier didn't do much. The shot hit me in the chest and I was moved back a bit.

As soon as it was done, I put down what was left of my barrier. Sure enough, the shot was strong as if she used a lot of power. Mina said, "B-but how? I didn't use a lot of power and still it managed to hit you even if you had the barrier on."

I smiled and patted her head. I said, "The necklace, the ring, and your blooming powers." She looked at me. She tried to smile, but failed. I hugged her, and said, "It's alright. It's not like it hurt or anything."

I felt her nod and I put my hands on her shoulder and made her look me in the eyes. I smiled and said, "You ok?" She nodded and I said, "Good, my turn."

Mina's POV

I smiled as my sister said, "Good, my turn." I sighed and said, "Same old Mai forever. Always smiling no matter the damage."

Mai looked at me and stuck her tongue out at me. I giggled and soon enough we both started to laugh. I then said, "same thing like me, but different right?'

Mai nodded and so we began. I said, "Mai, close your eyes and do as I tell you." Mai did as she was told. I then said, "Keep your mind blank. Concentrate on the house. Relax yourself. Now Mai see with your heart. Observe and see if you can spot anything. Hear with your heart."

I waited for Mai to give me a signal. The signal was the fact that she was in a trance. I smiled and said, "Alright, now go to the house and look for the basement. Once there, step inside."

Mai did and I knew she was there. I then said, "Focus all of your attention on the room. Tell me what you see. What do you see that a normal person can't?"

Mai was silent for a bit. I noticed that her PK was helping her because of the glow she was giving off. It was different from the usual ones because this one is strong.

Mai then said, "Demons, spirits, sprites, ghouls, monsters. Anything and everything that you normally can't see. They are in a group and they are discussing something I can't figure out."

I nodded and said, "Mai, come back." Mai slowly opened her eyes and she was back. She smiled and said, "Next?"

I smirked and said, "Close your eyes again and concentrate." She closed her eyes and started to concentrate.

"Just focus on yourself. You are standing in a black void. There is nothing around you. Focus on your spirit energy that dwells inside you. Feel that warmth inside your body. Now, try to bring that warmth out of your body. When you do so, your body will start to glow with your spirit energy." As I finished, I stopped talking.

I could feel Mai concentrate on herself. Mai was silent and still. She was then glowing a more radiant blue from her. I was surprised that she had this much power, but hey, she is my sister.

I then said, "Mai, when you are dealing with a demon and not a ghost or spirit, you have to use this chant." I saw her nod and I said, "Be gone you who is not needed. Go back to the place you were created. This isn't the place for you. Go back I say, go back. Sin, Lie, Shou, Khai, Kei, Kin, Matsu, Zin, Zai."

Mai then raised her hand, but not at me. She raised it to the left of me. She then said, "Be gone you who is not needed. Go back to the place you were created. This isn't the place for you. Go back I say, go back. Sin, Lie, Shou, Khai, Kei, Kin, Matsu, Zin, Zai."

While Mai was saying the Sin, Lie, Shou, Khai, Kei, Kin, Matsu, Zin, and Zai, I couldn't help but notice the fact that she was doing it in the position of the nine cuts. I sighed and thought, "That is how it goes. Not surprising there."

What made me shocked the most was the damage, but the damage wasn't that big. The only damage it caused was a hole in the ground where the power hit.

I said, "You are doing great. Now try to send that spiritual energy back to your body. Concentrate on that warmth you are feeling. Make it less. You are doing a good job Mai, continue. And after you finish slowly open your eyes." I then stopped talking.

I waited for Mai to open her eyes. It took a while, but she managed to open her eyes and smiled at me. She said, "I felt warm both inside and out. That makes me happy.

I rolled my eyes and said, "You have done this a billion times and now you act as if this is your first time."

She puffed her cheeks and said, "Quit it." I giggled and we stayed outside for a while longer.

Naru's POV

A while after Mai and Mina left, everyone stayed talking. My mother and father were talking to Gene. Yasu, Bou-san, and Ayako were talking about something random. John and Masako just sat there watching. Sometimes they would join into a conversation.

I sighed and just then Masako gasped. The whole room fell silent and I had to resist the urge to drop a pin to see if I could hear it falling and crashing.

Bou-san, Ayako, John, Lin, Masako all looked out the window. "Do you sense that?" Ayako asked.

I looked at Masako and she said, "No way. Mina. Her powers are strong. I can feel her powers. Wait, no. Mina just finished whatever she was doing. Mai. This time it's Mai. Her powers can't be this strong can it?"

I then felt the power too. This was Mai's power? How could she have gotten stronger in a few days?

Ayako then said, "Uh, it's gone now." I noticed that too. Masako moved her head to the left, to the right, up, and down and said, "Yes, it is gone."

"Noll, Mai has enough power to beat you in combat." My mother said. I looked at her and nodded. After a while, Mina and Mai came back into the room.

I said, "Mina, Mai did you guys find anything?" Mina and Mai looked at each other and said, "Yup." Mai said, "Don't go into the first floor living room, the second floor kids room, and the basement alone. Seeing as to how we are in base together, we shouldn't be alone in base at all. There are spirits in this room also."

I nodded before I went to reading my file. Something was off. Tomorrow is the full moon and that is the day in which Cody or Mai die.

Mai's POV

I closed the connection between my sister and Gene. I then thought, "Tomorrow, I might die. I hope I don't die. I want to stay alive and be with SPR. My family."

I sighed and Mina whispered in my ear, "Mai, tomorrow, promise me that you won't do anything rash." I smiled and nodded. She then said, "Are you positive you won't do anything rash?"

I sighed and said, "You don't trust me? I promise you, I won't die." Mina nodded and said, "Then let's do our deal."

I sighed and nodded. "It has been said, it has been done, and it is just one. This deal may be for fun but once the deal it struck, it can't be undone." We both chanted together. We then smiled and bowed our heads.

The lights then flickered on and off. Bou-san, John, and Ayako started their chant. Mina and I stood next to each other ready for the attack.

When the lights completely turned off, everyone started chanting. The room was filled with Bou-san saying, "Na Ma Ku-san-" Ayako saying, "Rin, Pyou, Tou-" John saying, "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God-"

I heard Mina say, "Protect them, protect me, and protect us now as we weak have for-seen. Protect them, protect me, and protect us now as we weak have for-seen. Protect them, protect me, and protect us now as we weak have for-seen. Min, Lie, Shou, Sha, Kei, Kin, Metsu, Zin, ZAI."

The whole time, I stood there doing nothing. Not even saying a word. As soon as everyone's chant was done, the lights were still off.

It was then I heard moaning and groaning come from all corners of the room. I screamed, "Everyone get into a circle now!"

They did and I stood in one area while Mina on the opposite side. Somehow I was in front of Naru. Naru said, "Mai, what are you doing?" I looked at him from the corner of my eyes and said, "Nothing."

I turned my attention on what was going to happen. Mina then started her chant because whatever was emitting that groaning has gotten to her first.

I froze at what I saw next. In front of me stood many demons, ghouls, spirits, and sprites. I gulped and I closed my eyes. Just like what happened in the backyard. I soon felt myself get warm. I walked a few steps ahead of me.

I raised my hand at the evil beings. I said, "Be gone you who is not needed. Go back to the place you were created. This isn't the place for you. Go back I say, go back. Sin, Lie, Shou, Khai, Kei, Kin, Matsu, Zin, ZAI."

It worked on half of the beings, but not all of them. I sighed and did the other one. "Na Ma Ku-san Mande Bazaradan Kan! Na Ma Ku-san Mande Bazaradan Kan! Na Ma Ku-san Mande Bazaradan Kan! Rin, Pyou, Tou, Shou, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, ZEN!"

It worked. The beings all disappeared. The lights came back on and I fell to the floor. Before I hit the ground, Naru caught me. I was breathing hard. I said, "Thanks Naru."

He nodded and I fell into dream world. The last thing I remember was the fact that Mina also fell asleep with me.

There you have it. So much tension in this chapter. Mai's power grew, but not only Mai's but also Mina's powers grew too. Is it her own power increasing or is it because of the necklace, ring, and a full moon? Tell me what you think! Please review because I don't know if this story is good or bad.
