Sorry everyone on how long this took to get out I didn't plan on it being like a week but I did it here is the next chapter.
"Oh my God," she squeaked as a strange pain shot from her stomach outward filling every nook and cranny in her body. Brooke lunged off the porch and knocked the man to the ground. She extracted the gun and tossed it on the other side of the lawn, the man forced her off and backed up afraid to hit her. "Scared to hit me? Cause I'm a girl?" she taunted as the man lunged she kicked his chest and slammed him to the ground. The man got up and turned to Brooke wondering how she became this strong in a short amount of time. He ran for the gun and Dylan slammed the man's face with his foot. He kicked the gun away before the guy could kick his feet from under him.
Getting back up, Dylan punched the guy in the face a cut in the guys nose. The man countered by slamming his fist in Dylan's abdomen giving him a quick pain in his side, but Dylan came back slamming the guy hard in the ear with his foot, the man fell in the grass holding his head. He got to his knees and Dylan kicked him again, this time the man got up faster his face bruised and bloody and soon ran away. Dylan watched as the man ran down the street and soon heard Brooke gasp.
"What?" he asked his words carrying pain. Brooke stood motionless as he faced her; his shirt already covered in blood. Dylan looked down, "Shit," he moaned before falling to his knees.
"No, no," Brooke demanded rushing toward him. A burning sensation filled Brooke's eyes as Dylan fell onto her lap. She placed her hands on the knife wound using force causing him to groan out in more pain.
"He-he stabbed me, when?" Dylan asked his eyes swimming in his skull.
"Keep your eyes on me, your going to be fine, really," she said as he laughed. "Come on, we'll get through this and Monday you'll be praised for winning the Diving Championship, and you'll go to state and…"
"Brooke," he chocked, blood started up his throat and now lightly covered his lips. "I…I don't know how to put this."
"Don't say it," she hissed. "Your not dying."
"Brooke, just listen. This entire time I've been trying to get that date and I did, I'm happy, I've loved you from afar and…and I…I gave it to you," he mumbled as the blood began pooling under him."I'm cold, Brooke." She had no clue what to do, her heart was slamming in her chest echoing in her head, she had mixed feelings including one she never felt. She began brushing his dirty blonde hair.
"Just keep your eyes…" her voice failed her as his eyes began rolling back. "No, Dylan, stay with me! Dylan, come on!" Her heart had sunk to her stomach as someone came from behind her and began pulling her away. "Let me go! Dylan, wake up!" she screamed as the man continued dragging her away. Brooke watched as Dylan's head fell limply to the side his eyes still open. "No!" She pulled herself from the man's grip and ran to Dylan lifting his head slowly rocking. She looked at the tall man who was making his way toward her, he wasn't the suited man but he still creeped her out.
"Brooke, you need to come with me, right now."
"No, why would I…"
"Do you want to end up like your boyfriend here?" he demanded as she looked at Dylan. The man helped her up and called 911. "There has been a stabbing at thirty ten Northtown Lane, hurry," the man demanded before grabbing Brooke and walked away.
"We can't leave him."
"He's dead Brooke, and if we don't leave now, you will be joining him." Brooke gave Dylan's body one last look before walking away with the man.
"Who are you?" she demanded pulling her arm away.
"My name is Todd Elvin, that is all you need to know for now."
"You don't tell me what I need to know and what I don't. I want answers right now! Who was the man in the suite?"
"Listen here," he barked shoving Brooke, she stumbled and fell in the dirt. "You will listen to what I have to say how I want you to do it, and where you are to go. If you don't listen, then you and your family are in a heap of trouble." He helped her up and she looked at him a little fear filled, but followed him into the car. "Now, you and your family are moving to Seattle, there it will be a lot easier to watch out for you and keep an eye on everything."
"You can't just tell my family where to go."
"It's already done, your mom got a promotion and is being shipped to Seattle and your family is going, whether you want to live is up to you. Now once in Seattle and you have gotten settled in, I am going to come to your house and then we can talk more ok.
"I have no clue what you…"
"I don't want any excuses, I want a yes from you right now." Brooke sighed as Todd pulled up to her house, as her eyes grew wide. Dylan's body was gone, and Brooke could feel her heart drop. "Now get out," he whispered as she got out shaking. Todd drove off as Brooke stood where Dylan's body laid slain only moments before.
"Am I hallucinating?" A car pulled into the driveway and her mom walked up to her.
"How was your date?" she asked sounding over excited.
"Good, I suppose," she whispered as her mom nodded not even hearing her.
"Come, I have great news," her mom squeaked and pulled her daughter into the house. Mrs. Dresdale went on and told her daughter about the promotion she got and how they were moving to Seattle in the next couple of days. "They need me down as soon as possible and they said they would sell the house with no compensation and we leave Sunday."
"That's great mom, I…I um don't feel good so I am going to bed, good night," Brooke said softly before walking up the stairs and in her room
