"Ow! Damn it!" said Luke.

"Whoa, are you okay?" said Guy.

"Here, let me heal you!" exclaimed Natalia. Luke obediently held out his thumb for the princess to treat.

"Dear, dear, how unfortunate," said Jade with a smirk. Luke glared at him.

"Oh for crying out loud!" Anise exploded. "Luke, how stupid are you?"

"Hey, shut up!" Luke retorted. "It could have happened to anyone."

"Anyone who can't cook, yeah," muttered Anise. "That was seriously dumb. You're not supposed to use a paring knife for chopping vegetables! Next time you do that, use a chef's knife!"

"Honestly, Luke," Tear sighed.
