I was ready to go. I was traveling to the Inkworld for an escape. AND I WOULD FINALLY GET TO MEET THE CHARACTERS! But I needed to calm down a bit first.

Okay. Calm. I jumped through the portal and landed on a garden. Ouch. Thorns. I got up and was brushing the dirt off of me when I heard a faint noise that kept getting louder and louder.

"Quack, quack, quack!"

Oh please no. Not a duck….I'd had my experiences with them. Not very pretty memories. Not pretty at all.

"Get away! I have…..magical duck disappearing dust!" The duck wasn't intimidated so I quit shouting and ran to the little house that was close by me and knocked on the door probably a bit louder than I had intended. A woman answered. I knew who she was as soon as I saw her, so the next question wasn't really necessary.

"Are you Roxane?" I said, hoping she wouldn't think I was some kind of stalker.

"Yes. Who are you?" She asked, eyeing me suspiciously.

"I'm Hannah. I promise I'm not here to harm you. I'm from a different land. Would you please help me?"

She looked me up and down a few more times and then beckoned me inside.
