Dash shivered, the man was pointing his gun at Dash, he tried to run but he was frozen with fear, the man was starting to pull the trigger, his heart was beating.

Bang! The gun fired a bullet, Dash closed his eyes, ready for the impact, counting as he was ready to be with Death, it was now three seconds, he slowly opened his eyes, and the gunman was still pulling the trigger, what the hell? He thought.

The gunman shot another bullet but Dash dodged it and ran toward the gunman, he punched the monster and kicked him in the stomach, another kick in the head sent the man flying towards the water.

Dash looked for Violet, where could she be? He thought.

Then he heard a groan, turning his head back, he saw Violet, clutching her side, blood was flowing.

"Violet!" Dash shouted, he ran over to Violet and looked at her side. "Are you okay?" he tried to touch her injury, she shouted in pain. "Oh, you`re not."

The man started to emerge from the water, Dash grabbed Violet and helped her up, although he was having difficulty running with Violet on his shoulders, he still tried to run.

He ran as fast as he could to avoid the approaching man, but still, the man may be inches away from them.

As he ran, two figures bumped onto them, they rolled behind a bush, as Dash stood up, he saw Violet on the other end, still clutching her side, but she stood up tall.

"Dash!" his father`s voice emerged from the bushes, Bob Parr hugged him tight. Violet went near them.

"Violet! Honey, what happened?" Elastigirl asked her injured daughter.

"She received the bullet that was about to be mine, this is all my fault." Dash hung his head low. Violet mouthed: "That`s okay, Dash"

He smiled: "Thanks, sis".
