RP Thread- Phoenix Dorm

M The Bystander who doesn't care

Current Date: April 1st (PROLOGUE)

Location: Room 401 Phoenix Dorm

Yumeji paced back and forth. He was currently on the phone with his parents as they worried over him.

"Are you sure you have everything?" Their worried voices could be heard over the phone only by Yumeji.

"Yes I do." Yumeji sighed as he checked the time. "Anyways, I'll be going out now. No need to worry father, mother I'll be just fine."

"Be careful and don't talk with strangers or get in any trouble you hear!"

He smiled even if they theoretically couldn't see it and ended the call. "Now to get down to business."

Location:Lobby

The Toyama Academy dorms had themes based on what beast they had. Being the Phoenix dorm there was a bit more red then the rest of the dorms. A bit.

"It wouldn't hurt to have done some more decorating..." Yumeji walked around observing the dorm. It was his first year and he didn't want to miss anything.

"Knock knock..." Kuroi Hakuseki said quietly as he entered the Phoenix Dorm. There was supposedly a first year here, and he wanted to make sure that he was at least given a warm welcome.

(Re:NOVA hasn't been established yet....)

(Edited... And it's kinda weird that you spoke in the role of Yumeji as the leader of Re:NOVA in the character submission thread... only for it to not have been established yet.)

"Yes? May I help you?" Yumeji turned around to face a teenager with glasses. "If you are looking for someone I'm afraid I can not help. I'm only a first year."

(That was just in case of forming. I'm only de-facto cause I was a mod and Mind trusted me as a character approver. You're free to try out for the Chaos Leader position but only if you can PROVE yourself.)

(Not just that, but that it kind of gave me the assumption that Re:NOVA has been around. That was the main point I was trying to make.)

Kuroi rubbed the back of his head as a lump formed in his throat. He wasn't any good at introductions.

"Well, ah... that's why I'm here. I wanted to greet you for that very reason. My name's Kuroi Hakuseki. Welcome to Toyama."

(My apologies.)

"Thank you." Yumeji bowed. "I'm Watanabe Yumeko but please call me Yumeji." She smiled and extended her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you Kuroi-senpai.

(Yup.)

Kuroi wiped his hand a bit on his pants before taking Yumeji's hand. "Nice to meet you too, Yumeji-san." he said with a nod.

(Surprised he wasn't surprised that Yumeji is a girl....)

"My pleasure." Yumeji shook hands with him before letting go. "Anyways might I inquire about where I might find the library Kuroi-senpai?" Yumeji wanted some books for extracurricular reading and he could only bring so many with him from his home town.

(I have no idea what gender Yumeji is to be honest. You say he's a boy in his bio, a girl in the post before the one you just made, and a boy in the one you just made... I'm quite confused...)

"To be honest, I'm not too positive myself. I... don't visit the library often, if at all." Kuroi replied with a hesitant laugh. "So... where're you from, Yumeji-san?"

(He's a she. But pretending to be a he. So a reverse trap. Like Naoto. Just not as secretive.)

"It's okay." Yumeji smiled again before responding to his question. "I'm from Nigata Prefecture. Despite being in Chubu region too, I haven't been to the Shizuoka Prefecture much."

(That's... confusing, but okay...)

"I'm from Shibuya myself." Kuroi said as he looked around. "So, ah... should we take a seat or something?"

(Just think of him as a guy when I use he and a girl when I use she.)

"I see." Yumeji nodded taking note to herself to find the library later. It shouldn't be that hard. "If you prefer so then we may sit anywhere you like sempai."

(Androgyny for the win?)

"Right-o then." Kuroi said as he took a seat in a nearby chair. "So, Yumeji-san... Do you have any sort of special interests besides academics?"

(Yeah. You'll learn to deal with it.)

Yumeji also sat down on a nearby chair that was across from Kuroi-sempai's before answering his question. "I enjoy soccer and reading. In fact I'm looking forward to joining the school soccer team." Yumeji did look forward to that. She just hoped they accepted girls. "How about you sempai?"

"Well... not really, no. I don't have much going for me." Kuroi replied honestly. He shrugged with indifference. "No real reason for me to be here besides the fact that I'm okay at math I guess, heh."

Hopefully I don't sound like too much of a downer.

"It's okay Sempai." Yumeji checked the clock and then asked, "May I please excuse myself? I have something I need to take care of."

(Okay. I seriously have to go.)

"Ah, go ahead. I'll be going back to my own dorm." Kuroi said with a nod.

(Night, yo.)

Yumeji's phone rang when Kuroi finished almost immediately.

Perhaps I shouldn't have hung up so fast.

"Yes Mother?" Yumeji pulled out his black cellphone and once again was greeted by his mother.

"Dear, don't forget to visit the city's library." His mother really needed to stop calling him so much. He understood she was worried but that did not justify calling him every second. Please Mom. I have a life.

"Yes mother, I understand. I'll go right now." Yumeji sighed before hanging up.

"Excuse me Kuroi-senpai, but would you be interested in going to the library with me?" Yumeji turned to his senpai. It was always better to go in groups. It always was more interesting after all.

"Um... sure. Let's go, I guess." Kuroi said as he got to his feet. He walked to the front door and held it open for Yumeji, and they were on their way.
