Name: Miles Lonergan

Appearance: Tall, just over 6' with a slim, but powerful build. His dark brown hair is cut in a tight, military style. His almost hawkish face and ice-blue eyes have a certain... penetrating that most folk find either intimidating or stupid. He tends to prefer black or gray gear, usually dressing in black cargo utilities and a gray long-sleeve. In combat, he will occasionally wear an armored plate-carrier. But due to said carrier's weight, he only puts it on if hereallythinks he'll need it.
Abilities: A Former alliance Major, Lonergan is a leader, a capable fighter, and (if pressed) can fly. Not terribly well, mind you, but he won't ruin a shuttle.
Bio: A Major with the Alliance during the Unification war, he fought for the Alliance more from a sense of duty, the from any real ill-will towards the Independents. Ever since he mustered out, rumors of illegal and immoral experiments carried out by the Alliance have driven him towards the browncoats, though he still tries to play nice with the Alliance. He usually tries to adhere to the spirit of the law, if not to the actual letter, except when said law is blatantly wrong.
Extras: Lonergan still has a few old military buddies, and will sometimes call in favors to procure weapons and gear of a... questionable legality.

Phoenix An old Alliance Spaceship Corp. Dragonfly-01, Phoenix was only a handful of the big Dragonfly-class ships ever built.
An attempt to build a larger, faster transport using off-the-shelf components from an -03 series firefly, the Dragonfly proved very expensive to build, and due to a much greater mass, even its twin engines couldn't give it much of a performance advantage over the cheaper fireflies. The -02 and -03 versions feacutred drastic weight and cost-cutting measures made them unreliable and unpopular with buyers. However, the pricy -01 Dragonfly is has the same sturdy engineering that made the fireflysuch a popular degign.
Two side-mounted cargo pods allow Phoenix to carry 50% more cargo than a firefly, while retaining two spinal shuttle docking ports. Said docking ports are currently occupied by Matthews Aerospace S-7 "Galileo" shuttles. Along with the shuttles,Phoenixhas a pair of wheeled mules (however one or the other is almost always broken).

Gender: Female
Appearance: Tall and slender, with wavy black hair and incredibly curios eyes. Yang is almost always wearing some form of T-shirt (usually with a funny slogan) and has an inordinate like for sneakers. She also tends to festoon herself with grenades in combat. Because grenades are awesome.
Abilities: A decent shot, Yang is a master with explosives, a pyrotechnical artist, bragging that she can knock a wall down without waking the neighbors. Or, ya know, just level the whole block if that's what's needed.
Bio: The daughter of a Browncoat engineer, Yang was well schooled in the art engineering fine structures. An art she turned out to be less-than-fine at. She was, however, quite good at destroying said structures. Though snarky with her friends she is often reasonably polite. She threw her lot in with Miles after the former bailed her out after Yang got into a nasty bar-fight on U-day.
Extras: Her nickname is Whale. No one's really sure how she got it, and she changes her story every time she's asked.

Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance: Blonde hair and blue eyes, he is 6'9" tall and slender, but not skinny. Usually is dressed in some crisp suit or military fatigues depending on the environment.
Abilities: Ace pilot with numerous medals and citations for his flying skills. He is a dead-eye shot with a rifle, and usually takes one shot one kill on anything
Bio: He was a posterboy for the flying academy for many years, his squadron and himself in particular scored one of the best ground attack kill ratio of any Alliance unit in the Unification war. He was dishonorably discharged after following a direct order to attack a high value target, which turned out to be a civilian convoy that was mistaken for Browncoats during the closing days of the war. He was used as a whipping boy for the brass to save face and the REMFs to keep their careers. He now hires himself out as a freelance pilot, avoiding Alliance space, but still keeps his good manners, crisp grooming, and IVY League manner about himself.
Extras: Although bitter about what happened to him, he still holds a distant respect for the intentions of the Alliance which gets him into arguments quite frequently, usually him stopping another person's fist with his face

Patrick wears a Pair of gloves. a computer wrist band that is up linked to the controls that he custom made. His head gear is a hardhat, welder's mask, filter mask, ear phones, and headset all in one that he also made. The welder sheild has a shark face like the ones on noses of fighter planes. He ears a custom made brown coat. Abilities: He's a psion. Reading minds, potentially mind control, telekenisis, telepathy... he's still growing in terms of his powers, so expect them and their strengths to expand. Other than that he is a gifted Mechanic and great with computers, gifted fighter. Bio: Patrick was an Orphan who was raised in the Alliance's secret academy his whole life. He was trained to be a human weapon, and he exceled at that, Dispite his young age. However he eventually escaped and stowed away on Miles's ship, He was allowed to stay. Extras: He has aspberger's syndrome.

Appearance: Gary stands at 6'4" and weighs around 190 pounds. He is a white male with a bit of muscle and fat, particularly around his waist. He has short brown hair and green eyes with a bit of a goatee on his face.his outfit consist mainly of a jean shirt, along with trousers. on his feet he wears a pair of boots he has kept with him for upwardly about 3 years. he also has his old brown coat he wears.
Abilities: Outwardly Gary is a great shot with a pistol, and even more so with a rifle, But his main skills lie in with Engineering, as a matter of fact during the war he was the one keeping all the equipment in working order.
Bio: Gary was born before the war on a planet with close to no resources than that of the oil they dug for on his farm. His parents were always arguing the future of the farm whether it would go to the Alliance who claimed they would give them a bonus for the cattle and animals, or whether they give it to Gary when he became of age because of his love for the place he grew up in. Well push came to shove and when Gary finally did become of age he didn't take the farm, he decided to sign up and fight for the Independence during the war. Gary had done exceptionally well and was promoted to the rank of Corporal before wars end.
Extras: Doubles as the Ships Engineer when in space.

Appearance: Asuka stands at 5'3" and weighs around 140 pounds,she has long black hair(she keeps it in a pony tail most of the time.), and blue eyes. she has an petite build that is obviously not fit for any fighting, and some muscle. her outfit's usually consist of skirts and blouses( take for granted she never has to step foot off the ship.), and comfortable shoes(sneakers or comfortable boots. However, she does dress down on occasion and when she does, you could hardly tell she is a doctor.
Abilities: Having being born amongst Medics and Doctors, Asuka had taken a liking to the art of healing from when she was a young girl. this being said, she is extremely knowledgable about the human anatomy and various medicines and diseases.
Bio: Asuka was born on one of the Core Planets( most likely Londinium), to a couple of wealthy individuals, as a matter of fact her father was a well known Surgeon as her mother a well off Doctor, this in term had laid out the course for which path in life she wanted to take. She would spend countless days with her parents, trying to get them to tell her about their day. This had continued until she was 18 of course when she would enroll in the best Medical school the Core had to offer, where she spent the next four years at, then the war came and she was immediately commissioned due to her high test scores, it would seem the war slightly had its effect on her as she was helpless in saving a few lifes, but when it all was over with she had made Captain at a young age, and was giving the option to stay or go, none the lest she resigned from the army and was again sent out to the unemployment line where she spent a year or two before she was picked up by the Pheonix's crew as their official ship doctor.
Extras: Has a small crush on Miles,and is surprisingly good with a gun but refuses to actually carry one.

Appearence: blue /black hair, green/gold eyes/very pale skin/ 5,6/ curvy/ cat-like/ goth demeanor and black clothing often scare people.
Personality: trust problems. short-tempered, impulsive, and rude. Dose gymnastics, abnormally strong, smart
History: the daughter of Kanika and Akihiko Sohma, her parents were farmers and both foght in the war. After they lost they settled down and started a family she loves cats and has 4 on the ship. (Freya, Artemis, Athena, Persephone.)
Skills: very good thief, really can't stop her from stealing anything, (which annoys the captain when their trying to keep a low profile.) Very strong and flexible, weapons expert, a good fighter, like river.

Fell into a band of mercenaries at age 16. Worked with them on odd jobs for about 7 years, then chose to make his own as a freelancer. He holds no love for either side of the conflict, and only fights for the money. / Extra: posseses a modified Callahan Fullbore Autolock that is capable of shooting in vacuum. (sorry about the formatting. First gen ipads are pretty much trash)
