People across the world have been gaining powers beyond that of ordinary humans. People that can shoot fire out of their eyes, and move through walls.
Of course, they are referred to as 'mutants.' Freaks. People that mocked because they are different.
This has been going on, until now. Philip Barbour, a up until recently CIA agent, has started a government project to house and research these beings.
He has created S.H.A.D.E. Superhuman Housing and Research Division of Earth.
He will find as many of these Homo-superiors as possible, and bring them together.

After working in the CIA for several years, he found proof of 'Superhumans.' He had found a man named Newton Tyler Stewart. This man has the ability to generate electricity from nothing. After a short demonstration of what NTS could do, the government granted Philip money to start SHADE.
Name: Newton Tyler Stewart (NTS)

Doctors were astounded by what he could do. They researched him, but never understood why it happened. At the age of 16, he got into a fight in high school, and discovered another amazing power of his. He projected lightning from his bare hands. It scorched the entire locker room, harming his opponent and several students watching in the process.
He was put in prison for two years, until a man named Philip Barbour got him out and explained to him about what he was. He has been living at SHADE headquarters for the last few months. Nobody he knew prior to this life knows that he is part of this government program.10/9/2011 #1 Report

He didn't discover his white tiger self until later when, during an emotional rage when his sister was being bullied, he suddenly found himself transformed into a white tiger. It was then did he become regarded with horror, shock, and disgust which ultimately caused him to flee.

(( Awesome. Lots of people. Though you all seem to have potential for being Class S. I don't think everyone quite understands how immensely powerful a Class S would be. The only two examples I could possibly think of are Pheonix, from X-Men, and Superman himself.
NTS stood in one of the many training rooms that SHADE possessed. Places where you can hone your extraordinary skills without much possibility of harming others.
There were several dummies set up at the other end of the room. NTS new how to create electricity, just not how to guide it.
He moved his hand out, so it was pointing towards one of the dummies. He started up a small charge. You could see bits of energy bouncing around his hand.
He made it shoot off his hand. It hit the dummy, but bolts also shot in every direction. They absorbed into the large metal walls. Suddenly they discharged the current. NTS turned around. He saw Philip through the thick glass behind him.
"Good job." she heard him say over the intercom. "You could try aiming a little better, though. Have you tried pointing? Like with your fingers?"
NTS nodded. "I've tried it. It makes it almost impossible to get up a current." He saw Philip nod. "Can you try one more time?"
NTS shrugged. He turned to see the dummy being replaced by a robotic appendage. Like in a bowling alley.
He breathed in heavily. He pointed at the dummy with one finger. He started up a current. You could see bits of electricity flowing around the tip of his finger.
It suddenly discharged. NTS sighed, then turned around. "I'm not getting much more than static." he said. "Okay. Thanks for trying." Philip said, then he wrote a few things down.
NTS left the room, and started walking down the halls of the headquarters. He spotted a security camera. "Hello Aleksandr." he said. The camera moved about, as if to acknowledge NTS' greeting.
NTS chuckled. He continued walking down the hall. He noticed Dr. Corey trudging about, in a black bathrobe topped off with pink slippers. "Hello doctor." NTS greeted him. He suddenly looked up. "Oh. Its one of those new fellows. Hello." he said.
NTS got a weird look in his eye. He had been here around a week longer than Dr. Corey, but he didn't mind correcting him. He would probably just forget.
NTS got into his room. He saw the picture of him with his parents, and smiled. If only they knew where he was now.
He grabbed one of the colored bulbs he kept around, and started playing with it. He chuckled as he moved it about in his hands.10/10/2011 #8 Report

"Miss, I do believe you owe me one dead Greenhill." Those where the words of a mafia boss as he was talking on the phone.
"Look outside," came from whoever he was talking to. The mobster carefully eyed the city he could see out the window. "What do you see?"
"Nothing," the mobster answered.
"...I see...how about now?"
"I still see-" the mobster paused when shaking suddenly occurred. He saw a single building crumble.
"The..." the mobster was speechless.
"Your men told me that Greenhill was in that building at this time, if that is the case then I would like the payment at the usual place." And with that, the one that the Mob boss was talking to hung up.10/10/2011 #9 Report

(( Also, at this point, SHADE hasn't gotten into the habit of sending Metahumans on missions, yet. They still just 'house' and 'research' them.
Stewart continued walking around the headquarters. He suddenly heard "Tyler! Get in here!"
He turned to see Philip looking at a large TV in the living area. A building in a largely populated area had just collapsed.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Philip asked. Stewart looked at him. "What?" he asked.
"There was no sign of explosion or any kind of weapon. It just collapsed." Philip said, getting a small smile.
Stewart nodded. He understood. "You think its another one." he said. Philip nodded. "I think its someone we've met before, though."
Stewart looked at him. "Really?" he asked. Philip nodded. "I don't think you've heard of him, though. Quite a powerful one, though."
"I'll have to bring along a few extra soldiers to try and detain him." he said. He set down the remote and started walking down the hall. "I'll try and have Solokov keep you informed."
Stewart sat down on the couch. He stared at the TV. Reporters were astounded by the event. He just kept wondering about people like this. Superhumans that plan on using their powers for their own benefit. He remembered bits from X-Men and Batman. How the villains didn't care about anything but helping themselves.
He started thinking more about X-Men, and how his life was starting to become like that. Could Philip be like Professor X? Could Santiago be like Wolverine?
He shook the idea from his head. He just continued watching the TV, waiting for updates.10/10/2011 . Edited 10/11/2011 #11 Report

Newton kept watching the TV, when it suddenly changed to a live video feed, viewing the site from a police helicopter. Aleksandr must have found his way through their security. Newton saw Philip riding up in an armored vehicle.
Philip and some soldiers hopped out of the vehicle. "Spread out. Look for this man." he said, handing a photo to each of the soldiers.
Philip looked around, constantly looking back at the photo, then at the crowd. Damn. He must have already gotten out of here he thought.
He turned around, and suddenly spotted someone he hadn't expected to see. It was Avery Parker.
Damnit! Whats she doing here?! he thought. He quickly hid himself in the crowd. He took out a walkie-talkie.
"Quickly! Everyone! Class A Rogue SHADE! Set up a perimeter!" he said.

Name: Albert Heinrich
Appearance: Albert stands at 6'2 with an athletic build and a rather pale skin complexion. His face seems to be worn with experience a couple scars sitting where extremely high caliber bullets had at some point made contact with his face. Albert's bright red eyes are hidden behind a set of high quality sunglasses that he wears even in the dark and at night. His dark blonde hair is styled to look like a greasers haircut from the 60s combed to the back with at least ten pounds of hair gel used to keep it in place. Albert's clothing consists of a long black trench coat made of fine black leather taken from the top breeding cows in the world, his pants are the average black dress pants one would expect from someone like Albert and his upper body is clothed in a black button up dress shirt worn above black under armor with a black tie.
Personality: Albert is a dark man with no sense of humor at all, except maybe when he's standing above you ripping the veins out of your very skin one by one as if they were nothing but long hairs. Preferring to kill someone rather than talk to him causes him to be a top of the line 'business man' which gets him where he needs to be, and thats all that really matters to him. With a sinister outlook the man proceeds to dominate the world his abilities proving rather useful when he infiltrates military bases that may house useful items, such as nuclear missiles, hydrogen bombs, so on and so forth. Also enjoys the occasional long walk on the beach and his favorite sound is the screaming of those people that he tortures for days sometimes.
Power: Having the strength of at least a thousand men and unmatched speed that seems to make him disappear and then reappear causes Albert to seem rather intimidating, endurance capable to taking multiple tank shells causes him to be a major threat to most of his enemies. Quite frankly, the world is his enemy. Walking through gunfire as if it were nothing but a couple gnats picking at him only to pass him, and with his strength piercing through mens chests and ripping out their hearts, just for the hell of it.
Classification: Rogue, Class S
Brief History: Albert, once a military man attempting to work for the interest of the government, until his officer betrayed him resulting in the whole company to die miserably. Waking up hours later Albert stared into a pond the reflection frightening him somewhat the blood red shining eyes shone through the darkness and seemed to glare back at him. The strange survival must have had something to do with the syringe he'd been injected with weeks before, the scientists had picked him up off the street and stated simply that it was a concoction that needed testing, needing the money Albert had agreed.
After having gotten his revenge on the Guerrilla base that had tormented him and his fellow soldiers Albert looked off into the distance in thought, his government and the world's governments are corrupt. No one would do anything about it, day by day humanity leads its self to its own self-annihilation, Albert thought that someone needed to stop it, create a new world order where everyone would live in peace. Staring off one last time into the distance he turned and jogged in the direction of his old military base, going at speeds of at least 125 MPH at only a jog. Reaching the base he infiltrated its security and quickly went to work destroying all pieces of hardware he found, this labelled him as a major threat, he kept a .45 caliber handgun that he'd found that day as a trophy, a memento to remember the change he'd done from mislead hero to Righteous Saviour (In his eyes).
Now he walks through the streets day by day seeking out ways that he will 'save' humanity, this results in the destruction of multiple military and civilian laboratories, needless to say Albert is highly wanted in 24 different countries now. The world fears the name Albert Heinrich, which is why he'd adopted an alias, considering he'd never been found on camera he's almost like a quite literal shade, existing, but at the same time not existing.
Other: Carries a .45 caliber handgun in a holster beneath his right arm-pit, he doesn't really use it but it looks quite nice.10/11/2011 . Edited 10/11/2011 #28 Report
