Hyrule has entered a time of darkness. Ganondorf and his dark armies have once again invaded. His power quickly overcame the people of Hyrule. People expected help to come from the Legendary Hero of Time, but so far, no new hero has arrived. The people have waited for 10 years no, with no incarnation of the wielder of Courage. The people are beginning to lose hope. Ganondorf has proclaimed himself the Dark King of Hyrule, and very few oppose him. The only chance the people of Hyrule have is to rise up themselves and fight the Dark King. Whether Goron or Zora, or perhaps even Skull Kid, the citizens or Hyrule are going to fight back.

Name: Dethan Maru
Age: 19
Race: Hylian
Appearance: Medium length blonde hair, accompanied by blue eyes. Dons a regular Ordonian outfit.
Equipment: Uses a crude self-made wooden sword, and a crude self-made wooden shield.
Bio: Dethan has lived in Ordon all his life. When Ganondorf's invasion started 10 years ago, Ordon was mostly unaffected due to the fact that it was quite remote. When Dethan and the others received news of monsters attacking Hyrule, they, like most other citizens, assumed that the Hero of Time would arise and deal with the monsters. This did not happen.
Eventually, Ganondorf's army made it to Ordon. The monsters took control of the town with ease, as most of its inhabitants did not know how to fight, and the ones that did were taken away. This included Dethan's father. Dethan got really angry at the monsters around the age of 13, when they beat up his friend for fun. He freaked out and attacked the monsters, grabbing a spare club and striking them angrily. They easily overpowered Dethan and 'punished' him for disrespect.
That's when Dethan had enough. He started training himself with sticks, which didn't work out too well. He fashioned himself a crude wooden sword, and started training with that. He built dummies in the middle of the woods, destroyed them then cleaned up the mess, leaving no trace that anything ever happened. He trained hard every day. Eventually, he came across a sketch of the Hero of Time. He saw that he used a sword and a shield.
Dethan then fashioned himself a shield. On it, he carved the tri-force, in homage to the Hero of Time. He continued his training, until he became confident enough in his abilities that he believed he could defeat the Bulblins with just a little help. He tries to convince some of the citizens of Ordon to help him, but has had no luck so far.
