For those who wish to JUST focus upon/talk about how Part 2 had gone down and perhaps what you would have wished to have changed in that opener or no.
(Don't be confused, though, because the General Discussion thread is for, duh, general discussion of the miniseries on the whole and imaginations of "what ifs" and future installations. Whereas this is just for talking away about how Part 2 had gone. I know it sounds confusing but trust me. Most of my friends who'd watched it as well and perfect strangers as well have gone on and on about specific moments in each part. :) This just makes things easier to keep track off.)

Question: What on earth or in any of the zones possessed DG to stick her hand in what looked like a stone-monster's mouth? I mean, I know she was just a little kid, but come on! Seriously!!

Honestly, here. Obviously her mother spoiled her too much and didn't teach her the "woes" of the world, even IF their world was pretty much peaceful, unanimously.

I mean, didn't her flashbacks repeatedly have at least one person saying that she and Az was always wandering around in the woods, getting into adventures/trouble? You'd think that someone would either teach them safety or give them a body guard...yeesh.

Ooo!! Another scene in part two: Glitch and Cain getting a plan to break in and save DG. My younger sister (who was not watching it with me all the way through) walked in where Glitch goes "You wanna dance?" and sat down to join me. It went something like this:
Glitch: *smile* You wanna dance?
Jenn (my sister): Um...Nightcrawler has a zipper...on his...um...
Me: Its Glitch, and, yeah, I know.
Jenn: Oh, ok...
Cain: I'll lead, you follow.
Jenn: Well! We know who wears the pants in THAT set-up!...
*battle ensues, Glitch dance-fights*
Jenn: ...Ah, but look who's the better "dancer"! *laughing*
Me: *laughing hard* Shut up already!!! This isn't suppose to be that kind of show!
*continues watching, Az does the unleashing-the-mobat flashing*
Jenn: ...Are you sure about that?
Me: Well...
....That was a lot of fun!!! =D

My fave part again, was when the gang was running through the field on their way to the Realm of the Unwanted, and Glitch collapsed like a goof, and Cain immediately stopped to help him back up.
Was hilarious and adorable. :)

That was excellent!! I must have watched and re-watched that several times! It mimics the poppy field scene in the film perfectly, from their high-stepping running to Glitch/Scarecrow falling and Cain/Tin man helping him back up. Kinda says a little something about the characters, doesn't it...=]

LoL Yep ^_^ I'd read, though, that it was honestly an accident. LoL that Alan just lost his footing and they all went with it and kept rolling and kept it. =Þ Not surprised, though, since Alan's hilarious. ^_^

Seriously? And here I was, thinking it was a cool throw-back they planned...oh well, Alan is pretty hilarious and smooth...they pulled it off real well, for an accidental ad-lib!! Looked planned and practiced...way to go, guys!! =D
...I wonder if the DVD will have some outtakes or bloopers with Alan doing the dance-fighting? That would be funny as all-gets!!

That's what I'd read late one night on a site I can't find now that was for it, yeah. ^_^ It looked 1/2 and 1/2 though (planned and a goof), honestly, as in it was so funny that you'd think it was planned, yeah. But then you look at everyone's face and they all look distracted and surprised and DEFINITELY trying not to laugh (Zooey, especially, if you go watch it) about it and lose focus. LoL

Hey: FinAqua. How did they know that that was the place before they "discovered" it? When they start their lake hunt, Glitch asks DG to describe it. She says "magical". Cain says something about FinAqua, and they start on their way. Then, later, when DG revives FinAqua, Glitch makes the comment that she chose the right description, that FinAqua literally means "magical". So, how did they know before they actually knew???? Or did I miss something?

...as for FinAqua, I'm willing to bet its just an oversighted continuity error on the Writer's part. Either that, or Glitch remembered (briefly anyways, and then promptly forgot it again) where the Queen would take her two girls for an afternoon getaway.
Heh...always gotta supply the writers an "oops" loophole ;)
