I wasn't expecting Cain's reaction to what I wasn't expecting out of Glitch (if that makes any sense at all.)
HeHe I get it, at least. And yeah, definitely, it was one of the best Glitch scenes in TM, period, in MY opinion (notice the emphasis on "my" and that's merely opinion, before I get trampled upon again...). :) And who knows? Maybe all that underlining..."whatever" that apparently quite a few of us have noticed COULD lend itself to future possible slash canon or fandom as Moony'd said, was merely just Alan's natural sexual nature exuding, and perhaps he'd honestly perceived Neal to be quite fetching, especially in his hat and coat as most of us (the females, at least) can at least "all" agree upon...lol =Þ

Take it you hate the slashing, yeah? LoL I'm not REALLY really doing it for these two, myself, in the personal sense, but I CAN see it as more believable or possible vs. the DG/Cain stuff, is all.

As for shipping wars, I've found that a good percentage are just people having sport at each other, mostly in jest, but then that handful of really serious, can't-take-a-joke few come in and ruin it for everyone else. I've learned to just sit back and watch the train wreak in slow motion...its a little less painful. =)

I like them together because they're close in age and you know very little about him other than the few facts they give you, so you can completely mold him the way you want.

His name's "Jeb," not "Jim," though, Hazel. ^_^ But I see what you mean, though, about the closeness in age and definite advantage to not knowing much about him to make him your own, etc. I think it'd be a pretty endearing pairing, though, cuz they're both emotionally "raw" a bit. Jeb cuz of having "lost" his dad and truly lost his mom, and DG for having lost her old life and having to re-adjust, etc.

12/30/2007 #58 ReportRaw's kinda hard for me to ship, mostly because I don't know how to ship a half-man, half-wolverine (at least, that's what SciFi calls him). I do agree that he's quite neglected in the Tin Man fandom, but he's also pretty hard to write because his character's a little ambiguous. *shrug*
