The lyrics, to me, resemble Melodia's relationship with Malpercio (or vice versa would too, maybe). And the way the music starts soft and mysterious just to explode into this pounding rhythm is just like them, I think.

Actually, I think that most of Muse's stuff can be twisted to fit Baten Kaitos... Especially for Melodia and Kalas.

I don't have too many for Baten Kaitos pairings, or characters for that matter, but I'll bring one up for now.

The song is "Rise" from the anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Second GIG. Though it doesn't fit exactly, I think it suites Savyna well. She's know battle all her life, but now (well, during Eternal Wings anyway) she has a real reason to fight.
