There are many pros and cons to a live action Evangelion movie. A live action movie will bring this anime to the forefront and expose hundreds of more people to this show. However, I am worried because looking at the Dragonball Z and Blood Plus movies I'm worried it might ruin Evangelion like those movies. Movies for Ghost in the Shell and Akira are coming out and I'm worried those show could be more examples of Hollywood ruining anime.
