Hello all and welcome to The World of Gossip Girl. This forum was created by myself specifically as a way of doing something. There are forums on here, other than this one, that capture discussions and others that allow you to roleplay with others. This one just kind of puts them together. If you find the idea interesting, or are even just wondering how bad I might screw up running a forum, you can check it out and see what's going on. Now, I have a few rules here. They are very simple and they are below.

The Rules for RolePlaying:

1. Enjoy yourself

2. Keep it PG-13, or T. I don't want anything going into the M-rating. Feel free to ask me if you're unsure where I'd draw the line.

3. Do not insult, or rag on, others. If you and someone have a personal vendetta, keep it off the forum.

4. You cannot move another person's character, or speak for them, unless you have their approval before hand.

5. Before you venture off into the roleplays, go to the characters thread and leave either a bio for an original character, or a request for a canon character.

*Note: For those who might not know, canon characters are basically the characters from the show. ie. Blair, Serena, Chuck, etc.*

6. Do not reveal your last name, address, phone number, or any personal information you would not want shared. This is the internet, let's be realistic people.

7. Unless you have a unique nickname that will let us not get confused, do not have the same name as another character.

*Note: That includes the canons. Sorry, but there can be no Dans, Charles(s), or Nathaniels. None of the girls' names can be doubled either. Feel free to use the initials.*

8. GossipGirl blasts will be regulated and controlled by GossipGirl(s). I am currently the only GossipGirl. You can propose a GG text by PMing a GossipGirl, or saying something on the thread marked BLASTS.

9. All characters must be over the age of fourteen, unless run by a mod first. This is just to make sure that the character will not be getting into any situations that may be too mature for the age level of the OC.

10. Do not automatically assume that anything you say will be alright with everyone. If someone requests that you stop doing something, or saying something, that is bothering them, it'd be in everyone's best interest if you refrained from doing so.

Rule for Discussions:

1. Keep all language teen-rated

2. Opinions may vary, don't get too testy over what people may say.

3. Enjoy yourself

Things to Keep in Mind:

ALL, I repeat all events of Season One are set in stone. You may come up with things that happened during season one for your own reference as long as they do not conflict with the actual story line. This RP begins just a wee bit after Blair hops on that helicopter with that guy who was not Chuck Bass. From there, it's all up to you guys.

Plot twists can come from anywhere at anytime. If you'd like, you can easily plan these twists with people beforehand by PMing them, or chatting on the FREE CHAT thread.

As many of us are not in the same time zone, there's a sign-in page. You are not required to sign-in, but it does help a lot.

Before you roleplay, you must submit your character. You should hear back from a mod about your acceptance shortly after. Afterwards, you may do whatever you wish.

While you are able to create new threads, it'd be best to run it by a mod first. If the place is unnecessary, or already somewhere else, your thread may be deleted. To ensure that doesn't happen, just drop a line with me.

Don't limit yourself to just the threads we have already. If you think we need more places, like your home perhaps, say something, it'll more than likely be done.

Hey, I'm Charmed4eva112, or as everyone knows me outside of the Internet, Jessica. I'm 14, almost 15 years old, and I'm majorly quiet and shy, though I can be crazy when I wanna be.

I love Gossip Girl, though I prefer the TV show, I also love Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, I love surfing the web, and I love the Jonas Brothers, though you can kill me if you hate 'em, cause I used to, before a few months ago.

This summer right now sucks because I'm going to summer school. Yep, for Math, my most hated and worst subject! Grrrrrrr. Luckily, it's only 5 hours, and for 8 more days so it's not totally awful!

I'm Gemma and I am just a humongous fan of Gossip Girl =D My friends are always yelling at me to shut up about it, so I figured I'd come hang out with the cool people that are just as obsessed as me! Um... i havent read ALL the GG books or watched the episodes. ive only watched a couple of episodes and read one book. can i still roleplay?
