Moammar Gadafi has been confirmed dead. Cause of death was a gunshot to the head.
"An autopsy confirmed that Gadhafi died from a gunshot to the head, Libya's chief pathologist, Dr. Othman al-Zintani, said hours before the liberation declaration was to start the clock on a transition to democracy.
However, the pathologist said he would not disclose further details or elaborate on Gadhafi's final moments, saying he would first deliver a full report to the attorney general. Libya's acting prime minister said he would not oppose an investigation, but cited an official reporting saying a wounded Gadhafi was killed in cross-fire following his capture."

Follow up on the extended Greek crisis.
A few days ago everyone thought there was a solution to the problem with banks actually agreeing to forget half of Greece's debts.
Now, the news is that their prime minister is suggesting a referendum (country-wide vote) to see if the citizens agree with the bail out terms. If the Greeks agree with raising taxes to pay off the remaining 50% of the debt in the future, that will effectively stop the crisis in that country. However, if the protest-heavy Greeks refuse on the agreement, the government that got the terms may not last, and the EU will be back at the starting line, months late.
