A Trelynne - The Story Teller

The data blared for a couple more seconds before it finally shut off and then went dim beeping a couple of times then everything stopped. Sadly it was due to the power cell going dead and not the Scout's ability to pick the right button to shut it off.

Prowl stepped inside of the room and raised an optic ridge at Bee, he didnt look annoyed... more amused than anything else. "Playing with something were you Bee?" He teased the yellow youngling a little knowing his curiosity had gotten the better of him. He glanced over at Trey, the girl was still deep asleep curled around a pillow and didn't seem to have woken up at all even with the loud music. Looks like the scout had gotten off easy this time, and to add to it, Prowl of all bots was seemed to be in a good mood and not chastising the youngling at all for messing with something that wasnt his.

Bumblebee sighed in relief as the blasted device shut off. He was feeling very lucky that Trey didn't wake up and start blasting the slag out of him... That feeling was quickly wiped away as he heard Prowl's voice by the doorway. The yellow mech quickly turned to face the Autobot SIC, blue optics wide. "Um... No..." he mumbled, obviously guilty. The scout slightly ducked his helm and avoided optic-contact with the larger mech. He was in deep slag now...

Jazz slipped inside and chuckled softly. "Got yourself inta somethin' again, lil' guy?" he asked, grinning at the scout. Bumblebee pouted up at Jazz before going back to sulking guiltily. The silver saboteur could help but snicker at the smaller mech's expression.

Prowl chuckled and walked over and patted Bee's shoulder armor showing that he wasnt going to chastise him. "Well at least Trey didnt wake up, looks like you have better luck than Jazz or I." It was sadly true, both he and Jazz had been the victim of knocking something over, or making some sort of noise and waking her up and having a very pissy Trey on their hands. And while Bee was a youngling, Trey rarely enjoyed being woken up by anyone at all..

Trey shifted a little, snuggling closer to her pillow as she tightened her hold on it.. oddly enough it looked like she was strangling that pillow in her hold.

Bumblebee let out a confused click and looked up at Prowl. He wasn't being scolded..? Worked for him. The scout smiled sheepishly at the SIC and clicked cutely, hoping that would keep any potential anger away. His attention shifted back over to Trey as her movements stimulated his sensitive scouting sensors. The small mech's facial plates contorted into a look of confusion. "What's she doing?" he asked curiously.

Jazz arched an optic ridge at the teen's actions. "She tryin' ta kill that thing or what?" he murmured, optics shifting over to Prowl.

Prowl chuckled, Bee was trying to be cute and it was sadly working. He glanced over at Trey as Bee did and rolled his optics the girl was going to ruin yet another one of her pillows. Prowl shook his helm at Jazz and knelt by Trey's bed and stroked her back with one of his fingers soothingly. "Nightmare Jazz, you remember Ratchet talking about before?"

Trey slooowly relaxed and snuggles into pillow seeming to calm down a little.

Prowl sighs and strokes more, "She still wont tell anyone what they are about.." This is was generally the side of Prowl no one really saw, the caring compassionate side.

Jazz nodded, a frown on his facial plates. The girl wasn't opening up to anyone about those wretched nightmares. She was a very outgoing teen, but that was just one thing she refused to talk about...He assumed that the nightmares were terrible, the poor girl...

Bumblebee crouched down by Prowl, watching Trey curiously. "Nightmares? About what?" he questioned curiously. The scout had never been informed of her having nighmares, and for good reason. He was simply just too young to comprehend. Jazz decided to intervene. "Hey 'Bee?" Once he saw the small mech's helm turn to him, the saboteur smiled and pointed out into the hallway. "Wanna do me a big favor?" he asked. The scout nodded, clicking. "Can ya go check up on Ironhide and make sure he's not blowin' up the trainin' room, please?" Bumblebee popped up and clicked in affirmation, scurrying out into the hallway to search for his old caretaker.

Jazz slightly sighed and glanced at Prowl. //The less he knows, the better. The kid doesn't need ta worry about this stuff.//

Prowl raised an optic ridge at Jazz, well that was the old standby to use. Go check on Ironhide and make sure he didnt do something because of his hot tempter again. After Bee left Prowl chuckled and smirked at Jazz. //True, plus since Trey wont open up to anyone it would be best to not let him get hurt when she wont answer him when he asks trying to be helpful.//

Prowl glanced back at Trey and stroked her head very gently and sighed. "For her to tell us everything but this worries me for once. Not even Red Alert can get her to tell him.." And with all of those late nights they did talking for clicks on end. But she always avoided it perfectly. He shook his helm and sighed again as he watched Trey, who would have guessed the Stickler SIC had a soft spot for the teen~

Jazz nodded at Prowl before a smirk slowly spread over his facial plates, one that the Autobot SIC could clearly recognize on any given orn. It was his sarcastic about-to-taunt smirk. "Aw, do I see a worried Prowler?" teased the saboteur, grinning and using the nickname he knew Prowl absolutely despised. He was worried about Trey as well, but it was just plain amusing to catch Prowl showing his own concern for once.

Prowl's faceplate went into what humans called a 'dead pan' look as he looked at Jazz. "Dont make me have to give you Jack watch for the next month." Prowl smirked, just mentioning that duty normally straightened anyone out. Just because it was the one thing no one wanted to deal with, thats for sure. "And yes, i am very worried about Trey Jazzer." He smirked as he used Jack's nickname for Jazz knowing that was not his most favorite choice in what to be called.

Trey mumbled and shifted on her bed so her back was facing the two in her room still dead asleep.

Jazz's taunting expression immediately fell as Prowl threatened him with the task of watching Wheeljack. Dear Primus, that had to be the most dangerous task on base. The most dangerous and the most annoying. The unlucky 'Bot in charge of watching Wheeljack usually got stuck playing his assistant for the time being. The saboteur's optics narrowed at Prowl for a moment. He oh-so-greatly disliked being called that, but all was fair in name-calling. Now if it were one of the twins instead...

His blue optics shifted down at Trey. It seemed like she was still fine for the moment.

Prowl shifting and stood up, still smirking at Jazz he didnt need to say another word Jazz knew full well Prowl WOULD make him become Jack's royal servant. Of course that was oddly enough not seen as a punishment for of all people Treylenne and Alex, but then again those two were able to keep up with the mad scientist's experiments that was for sure. Prowl glanced at Trey and sighed at least she was easy to pull out of her nightmares.

He started for the door and he glanced back at Jazz. "Staying or coming to check on everyone?" Prowl didnt care either way, but he was going to lock up the teen's room when he left.

Jazz contemplated the question before settling back against Trey's bedroom wall, being careful so as not to scuff the surface. "I think I'll stay," he said, gaze drifting down the the teen. He scanned over her sleeping form for a moment, checking her heart rate and breathing rate, before glancing back up at Prowl. "Jus' ta make sure she doesn't have another nightmare." Honestly, he just wanted to make sure the girl would be okay for a while at least. The silver saboteur thought he had seen something on the humans' Internet about having recurring nightmares within a single bout of sleep.

Prowl nodded his helm, so he wasnt the only one that had put in thought to what Ratchet and Red had been talking about. "Alright, i'm locking down her room when i leave. If you need out use your pass code and it will unlock and relock for you." Then he walked out of the rather blank room closing the door and then hit the lock button. Prowl normally thought it was a bad idea for anyone to be left alone only because he knew the girl's reaction to waking up to see someone else in her room, but he was sure Jazz could handle it.. this time.

Trey shifted so she was laying on her stomach, pillow under her and blankets kicked off of her and spread all around her. The teen was in a light gray tank top with a pair of black jogging shorts with the NEST logo on them, with her hair pulled back into a high pony tail. And there was an odd looking platinum bracelet on her right wrist, it was just solid without any markings at all it was about 1/3 inches thick in width.

Jazz nodded back at Prowl before turning his attention back down at Trey. He tilted his helm a little and knelt down by her bed, careful not to make a sound. The saboteur gently picked up her sheets between his fingers and placed them back over the teen, tucking her in just the slightest bit before standing back up. His optics caught onto the bracelet she was wearing and he scanned over it quickly, just to confirm the material it was made out of. The bracelet just seemed to be a normal platinum band to him. Jazz softly clicked and kept an optic on Trey, watching for any signs of nightmares.

Prowl walked down the hallway going to check in with Prime and the others in the control room now a little more at ease with Jazz watching over the girl that they were puzzled about.

Trey's platinum bracelet was giving off an odd energy reading that was oddly familiar but there was also static in the scan which made it impossible to ID just what the energy was. But Jazz could feel the energy which had a very odd pull, a familiar pull on his spark. The girl shifted, snuggling into her blankets and tucked her arm gently under her cheek and slightly nuzzled into the metal.

Jazz crouched down, a curious expression on his facial plates as he observed the sleeping teen. There was definitely something strange about that bracelet, but he couldn't quite put a finger on what exactly it was. The saboteur slightly growled as static continued to interfere with his readings, quite frankly screwing with his processor.

The mech gave up after a minnute, shaking his silver helm. It was useless to even try... Jazz settled back and took note of Trey's actions, most notably her snuggling with the bracelet. Odd...

2/9/2010 #46 Report

Oddly enough the readings, or what Jazz was able to get as readings were giving off to very different things. One said it was platinum and the other said it was Cybertronian metal, back and forth the readings flashed as if there was some sort of glitch that was making it impossible to ID the metal for sure. Then after a moment the teen stopped nuzzling and shifted yet again, her arm turning over so her palm was face up and the underside of the bracelet was visible. And it was then that Jazz was able to see some sort of engraving on the underside of the platinum band. (Engraving: http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn218/Trelynne-Sama/Treylenne-2.jpg )

And the inside of the band looked highly different than the outer side, it looked worn, old, and clearly was not the same as the polished platinum that was seen from the outside. And suddenly the two readings stopped, and only one was showing up and it wasnt the platinum one, the scan was telling the Autobot SIC that the metal was Cybertronian... and it was something very familiar.

((Since this isnt Movie verse i felt like adding some twist to the plot~ ))

Jazz's optics widened as he quickly knelt down beside Trey's bed. "No fraggin' way..." muttered the SIC, in shock. The silver mech tried to take a closer look at the bracelet, just to see if it could possibly be what he thought it was. He paused once he saw the engraving, reading it aloud quietly. "Treylenne..?" His optic ridges knitted in confusion as he glanced back down at the sleeping teen. How could she possibly have a plausible piece of the All Spark? And how in the world did she get her name engraved into it in Cybertronian of all possible languages? Jazz debated whether or not to tell Prowl and Optimus about his newfound discovery, but decided to keep it on the down low for a bit. Just until he could get the right amount of data and proof that Trey's bracelet did in fact contain a piece of the All Spark.

The saboteur hesitantly reached down and lightly tapped on the metal accessory, just to see what could possibly happen.

Trey didnt seem to stir at all, well at least she was sleeping, right?

As Jazz tapped the metal the modified datapad that Bee had been playing with flared to life creating a holoform that stood by Trey's desk. But this wasnt a human holoform, standing next to the desk was a human sized femme holoform. There was a dark visor over her optics that was cracked in a couple of places, her black and silver paint was dull and she clearly had a good amount of damage. Jazz didnt seem to recognize the femme, not one that was well known at least.

The holoform then slowly lifted her helm and looked straight out as if greeting someone as if she wasnt a holoform. And for Jazz this was a problem but for humans it might be, the Femme was speaking Cybertronian. "This is OverDriver SIC for the Third core unit that was sent to scavenge for the fragments of the All Spark. We were able to obtain a few pieces within the first half of our mission. But, unfortunately before we were able to return to Cybertron our ship and sister ships were attacked and destroyed. I am the sole survivor of this attack. From the three ships we have gathered many All Spark fragments and have found that even one of these fragments holds much power to it. In order to try and keep this out of the enemy's grasp I was sent in a emergency pod and sent to the nearest planet. Unfortunately this planet i am on now is far behind Cybetron, at this time there is no chance of communication. The All Spark fragments have bounded together creating a small bar." The holoform held out a very small straight band of metal on her servo as if she was really showing someone it.

"I have searched this planet, there are no other Cybertronians that i can locate. Unfortunately this does not leave me in a very good place at this time. And because the All Spark is very powerful i have no choice but to place it somewhere that this planet's inhabitants can not get to it. I will seal it in a back up memory core I have so that it will be protected for a while longer and should it be found it is possible that it was an Autobot that found it..." Then the holoform flickered and the room went dark again.

Then the datapad flickered back on, this time the screen was playing a video, humans all dressed in black seemed to be moving around where ever the clip was being filmed, then someone grabbed whatever was filming and they started to move, it was grainy and hard to tell what was going on, but there were glimpses here and there of what looked like a third world country, crappy shakes, people in the streets, and then what looked like an old fashioned Army jeep. Then the clip cut out and the data pad died again.

It took a few moments for the saboteur to recover from his shock. "...Slag." Jazz quietly cursed; he had forgotten to record anything, neither audio nor visual. Looked like he would have to either tap her bracelet again and hope to Primus that she wouldn't wake up, or wait until she woke up to tell her and show the others. The mech paused. Ah... He glanced down at Trey to make sure she was still asleep before crouching down again and gently tapping on the bracelet once more, turning towards the datapad and instantly recording whatever he heard or saw.

Nothing happened, the bracelet didn't move at all, the datapad didn't come to life.

Then suddenly a human man stood in front over the desk, arms crossed over his broad chest, in full army uniform. He smiled, as it looked like his green eyes started to glow a little. "Si usted está viendo esto, ese los medios usted podía imaginar el código. Le felicito mi pupila, durante los años que he intentado entrenarle para permitir que usted imagine los artículos cogí mientras que actuaba como ronco militar. Mientras que estoy seguro usted aprenderá sobre esto más adelante puesto que usted es tanto como mí. Los artículos en mi sitio no son de tierra, no sé cuándo o de donde vino, pero la dejo en sus manos para descubrir esto." The male shifted and relaxed his arms and held out what looked like the bracelet now around Trey's wrist.

The man smiled warmly and shook his head as if pulling himself out of his thoughts. "Espero no le haya dejado un lío, sino que sé que me están mirando así que tengo que parar el probar de los artículos. Espero que usted lo haga bien, Treylenne." With that the male winked smiling again and then added. "I found that if you hold it against your left wrist face up something beings to be engraved in it on its own. I cant tell you what it is, but after testing it i have to think it is an ID of some sort. Just remember what i taught you, it will keep you safe, and should something go wrong, use the fail safe trigger and all of the items will be destroyed before anyone else can get to them." And with that, the holoform flickered out.

Trey mumbled in her sleep, shifting her pillows seems the man's voice had pulled her out of her deep sleep.

(TRANS:

If you are seeing this, that means you were able to figure out the code. I congratulate you my pupil, over the years I have tried to train you to allow you to figure out the items I picked up while I was acting as a Military grunt. While I am sure you will learn about this later since you are so much like me. The items in my room are not from Earth, I do not know when or where it came from, but I leave it in your hands to find this out.

All of the items in my room are now yours to try and understand. But keep them to yourself as I know if people knew about these items, you would be in deep trouble. The first item you found is a small metal plate, I sealed it with a platinum shell so it would safe, just remove the inner layer. When you do this the old metal will react, I do not know what will happen dear, I am sorry to say that but I sealed the metal before the reason was able to become to strong. But if I cam correct, I do believe the metal is living and is looking for a host to attach to. That does not sound pleasant yes, but it will not harm you. Most likely it will go dormant after it attaches, there might be some sort of odd seduce that happens to bond it to you. I can only tell you what I was told by a friend on mine that tested it. But I know it will do you no harm, I love you.

I hope I have not left you a mess, but I know I am being watched so I have to stop testing the items. I hope you do well, Treylenne.)

Jazz slowly blinked before stopping the recording, confused. That was definitely not what he had been expecting... Now the saboteur had to wonder who that was, how he knew Trey, and what 'items' he was talking about. The mech was just about to com Optimus when the teen stirred from her sleep, just beginning to wake up, it seemed. Definitely not good for him.

"...Slag."

The silver mech backed away from Trey as quietly as he could, making only the quietest of noises as he shuffled away from her. Who knew what kinds of painful toys she had now? Jazz could only hope it wasn't a long range shooter... Then again, his luck was terrible, so it more than likely would be. The saboteur cringed away, waiting for some kind of shock or whatnot.

Treylenne grumbled a soft curse as she sat up, clearly not really awake yet because her long bangs fell over the right half of her face and she didn't bother to correct it. After a moment of her just sitting up with her eyes closed seeming to have to pull herself out of her dreams she opened her eyes and glanced around before her dark green eyes settled onto the Autobot that was in her room.

"Jazz?" She raised an eyebrow at the silver bot as she turned and faced him, changing how she sat so she was sitting cris-cross on her bed with a pillow on her lap. She seemed to be trying to figure out just why the he was here, in her room, and seemed to know that being in her room was not cool, at least that's what his stance was saying. "Why are you in my room... and what time is it?"

The data pad on Trey's desk didnt light up again, it seemed to really be off this time..

Jazz opened an optic and looked down at Trey, relaxing once he saw that she wasn't going to attack him with some crazy new prototypes weapon Wheeljack might have given her. "Ah, you were havin' a nightmare, so Prowl, 'Bee, and I came in ta check on ya. I stayed ta make sure it didn't come back," he replied, slightly shrugging. It wasn't a complete lie... The mech checked his internal chronometer before glacing back down at the teen. "As for the time, it's about five o'clock AM."

The saboteur snuck a peek at the datapad. It looked like it had finally powered down, but with that strange device, he would never know for sure.

Trey blinked then the teen blushed darkly as she seemed to realize where she had fallen asleep, she had been with Red again talking and fell asleep.. Prowl must have caught her in there again sleep, he was going to drill her for it later. She hung her head dramatically for a moment before she looked back up at Jazz and pouted rather cutely. "Prowler is gonna kick my aft for falling asleep in the command center again."

She stood up yawning, she was wake, but not conscious that was for sure. She rotated her neck and started to pop her joints without much thought, clearly the girly wasnt going back to sleep. She did a couple of back bends and bridges and other stretches then she bounced back to her feet and looked back up at Jazz, now the girly was awake. "A nightmare? That's odd i dont remember anything, must have been about the ugly mug of Screamer or something~" She playfully joked as she walked over to her closet to get dressed for the day. "Oh, anyway thanks for being worried 'bout me Jazz~ better you than Prowler to wake up to, he is so grumpy." Well it might be the other way around, but he was grumpy after he got shot with a prototype toy of her's. She didnt seem to notice the data pad on her desk at all, or if she did she was letting on.

"Nah, Prowler ain't mad at you. He's just worried like I am." Jazz chuckled and smiled down at the teen. It definitely didn't take long for her to wake up; just a few stretches and she was good to go. "And no problem, girlie. We gotta keep an eye on everyone 'round here," he stated with a small wink. The mech gently leaned back against her wall and took a glance at the door. What time was that meeting at again..? Pit, he couldn't remember.

The silver saboteur glanced down at Trey. "D'ya remember when that whole base meeting's supposed ta be at?" he asked curiously. Prowl would have his aft if he forgot to attend yet another meeting. But he was in recharge the last time... Which made Prowl's temper flare even more. Not such a great memory in his data banks.

Trey blushed a little as she heard that everyone was worried about her, last thing she wanted was for everyone to be worried about her nightmares, it wasn't like they were that bad.. Or at least it wasn't enough that she needed everyone to pick up on it. She grabbed a tan tank top, moisture wicking desert tan long sleeve shirt, ACU combat pants and shirt. She tuck her tongue out at the uniform, meetings were the only time the Major would ever get her into this uniform, unless they went into a mission then she went into the snug NEST black uniforms. She looked back at Jazz and thoughts for a minute.. She couldn't remember. "Ahh.." She sheepishly grinned at Jazz, she had no idea. "Oh wait I know.." She tossed her clothes onto a chair and walked over to her desk where the modified datapad was, she picked it up and hit the little red button and it turned on, it looked no different than any other datapad on base, at least t he screen part.

She pulled the pen and scrolled down till she found the base schedule then looked back up at Jazz. "Meeting starts at 6:30AM, Prowl wants me there at 6AM to help set up." She turned off the datapad again and opened one of her desk drawers and set it in there the shut the drawer that silently locked as she closed it. She smiled at him, "Which means I have got to move tail before he comes in here to wake me up~ ill be right out." She scooped up her clothes and before Jazz could get a word in she was in the bathroom with the door closed and locked.

It only took Trey a few minutes to get dressed, brush her hair and pull it back into a braid that went down her back that swished back and forth as she walked, she only did a very basic make up touch up to her face just to hide any tell tale signs of lack of sleep. She was going to avoid getting a lecture this early in the morning. She walked out of the bathroom fully dressed and yawned, she hated getting up early.

She looked up at Jazz and smiled at him. "Something on your meta?" It didnt take a lot to spot the fact that the SIC was thinking about something. But the question was if Jazz was going to ask any bring up the issue or not.
