She was running, running across the grass in the darkness, her long hair flying into her face. She was sobbing as she ran, Izzy's hand pulling her, gripping her so tightly her nails dug in. Suddenly they reached the woods on the other side of the field, and they were pushing aside branches, thorns catching at their legs. "Stop! Come back!We're not going to hurt you!" the voices called behind them. Liars. The hate seered through her. She'd never really hated anybody before, not like this. Izzy was the only thing holding her to reality, the only thing guiding her in this nightmare of darkness and strange echoing sounds, and suddenly she was gone, Izzy's hand wrenched from hers, and she was falling through the darkness, crashing onto the ground, her hair catching on twigs, yanking it. She screamed Izzy's name, and immediately regretted it; She was calling them down on herself. Hands grabbed her and she lashed out, kicking one of them in the face. He gave a yell, and fell back, she scrambled to her feet, and tried to run, but there was another one, grabbing her, holding her arms behind her back. She heard him speak to the other one:" Female, looks young maybe about 9 or 10..." She screamed and thrashed, but couldn't pull away, then there was a cold stab of pain in her arm, and she was falling. She only had enough time to think 'I'm 15, you jerks!' before she succumb to the darkness surrounding her-
She woke with a scream, shocking herself. She gasped and looked around the room, with wide eyes. She had to remind herself that she was not her, She was not Kat. She was herself, Moonlight Ripples Across the Sea. And she couldn't let herself forget that, despite the nightmares which had been plaguing her for the past 3 weeks. A small voice pipedup in the back of her mind. But I'm still here....
She squashed it down, but could't resist retaliating. I'm here now. Me. Just leave me alone.

Hale yawned miserably. It was cold, and late, and she was hungry and thirsty. Todd and Aries were in the same opinion, but, they kept there mouths shut, knowing Hale wanted to get them some food, and in a bed.
Hale shifted her rifle a bit. looking around. There was one house on the corner that looked okay. Car was there though. But at this point she didn't care. "Come on she whispered."
She knocked on the door, already preparing her speech.

She smiled and climbed too her feet, walking to the door and opening it. She smiled at the girl and the two boys standing there. "Hi! How can I help you?" she said, giving a friendly smile.

H-humans are chasing us, can we p-please come in?" she sobbed, while silently congraduating herself on the acting. Even a real human would have believed it. She should have been an actor.

Moonlight Ripples Across The Sea let out a horrified gasp. "Of course! Come in, please! My carer's out, but she'll be back in around half an hour to an hour...Please come in! It'll be fine, I'll call the seekers...." Oh, of course the seekers. Going to send some more of my kind to our deaths? the voice in her head muttered. You're not real. Go away.

Before, however Moonlight could call anyone, or do something regretful, the three of them pulled out their guns, and pointed their weapons at Soul. "That would be fine, if I wasn't the human. Now, keep quite, or we will all shoot you." Hale said calmly. She jerked her head at Aries and Todd, who pumped there guns for emphasis.

Moonlight's eyes widened in surprise and horror. She took a shaky breath, staring at the guns. She began to tremble all over, and let out a little sob. Tears of fright began to trickle down her cheeks. Oh thank God, someone around here isn't a parasite....Kat-no, the voice- said in her head.Shut up! They're pointing guns at me!! she said back. She stared at the humans with the guns, and began to sob harder, terror filling her body.

Crying just at the sight of a gun. That girl looks around my age...Tell them I'm here, maybe they'll take me with them. Moonlight mentally scowled at the voice. Yes, because then they won't shoot me- they'll totally believe me. Are you insane? They'll think I'm a seeker! Wait, why am I even talking to you? You don't even exist! You shouldn't exist...

I'll shoot her if she is any problem. " This was a rather scary thing when said by an eight year old. Todd nodded, and rushed after his sister.
Hale was rumaging through the pantry, stuffing as much food n her bag as she could, and then some in her mouth. She motioned for Todd to do the same. Once Todd had eaten, he grabbed a little for his twin, and the soul. He handed Aries a bar of chocolate, then tentively, he handed the Soul one.

Moonlight shuddered when she heard the boy's threat- how old was he? However, she nervously took the chocolate, although her hand shook slightly. "Thank you." she said quietly. She felt very vulnerable, especially since her host was tiny....I'm not that small! she ignored the voice.

"Knock it off dude, she'd - it'd - happily turn us into the seekers!" Aries growled.
"Oh, right, sorry!" He seemed to be sorry to both the soul and his brother.
Aries -who was still holding the gun mind you - snarled at the Soul, "And you don't talk to my twin!"
Hale came out just then. She flicked his ear. "Knock it off, you are not actually the god of war. Now, get out of here and pack some more food." She waited until they were out of the living room before shrugging of her rifle and aimming it at the soul. She couldn't afford to leave the soul. It would call the seekers...."This is nothing personal. Well, it is, but it's your own fault." She told the soul.

Mum, Izzy...I'll never know if they were safe....I'll never find them...I'm being killed by my own kind... Kat began to moan. SHUT UP! Moonlight screamed at her, nearly hysterical.

"Because I'm still fighting in here!" Kat cried. No! Moonlight crumpled to her knees.
"Get. Out. Of. My. HEAD!" she screamed, sobbing.
"It's my head!" Kat snapped at her through her mouth. "Filthy parasite!"
"Leave me alone!"Moonlight begged, horrified at how this must look to the human girl. Great, now she's think I'm a seeker and she'll definitely shoot me..

None the less, she fired a warning shot into the lamp. The rifle kicked hard into her shoulder, making her flitch. "Stop it right now!" She demanded. "Put your hands on your head!". No silencer ment she needed to move quickly.
