Hyrule Field - Lost Souls: Hyrule covered in shadows Forum

A man was out in the field. He was riding a Boar he had stolen from an encampment of Moblins. He was traveling, trying to find jobs and weapons. He decided he could find someone to hire him, so he was riding towards the location of Kakariko Village. He ha just stopped at the Village gate, and waited for a guard to notice and let him in.

A man walked toward the gate, his scythe giving him a fearsome appearance as he walked toward the gate. He needed a place to stay and this was the closest village. He crossed his arms and stared at the guard with a look promising death if he messed with him.

Thorik got back on his boar and gathered his traps back. He waited to Follow Kyrn, something told him this would be a fun mission.

Kryn came out, his brown horse shook its head and huffed. "Follow me. We're taking a direct route so I need you to help me keep the monsters between points A and B. It's heavily populated."

Soros grabbed his long bow out and got his horse. He motioned it out and headed off toward the Castle. He looked up the sky and said. "It might rain today..." He sensed something from the Castle...so he quickened his horse.

Kryn nodded and looked up at the sky. Huh... The clouds are gathering. "Lets ride." And he turned to their destination and urged his horse into a gallop.

Thorik followed with his boar. He spotted some Moblins up ahead who where charging them. So he sped up to them and started to cut them down with his glaive. he kept an eye on Kryn to make sure none got to him. He was safe for now.

Kryn Pulled out a cross bow as he rode, he whispered a prayer to Din and the tip of the arrow lit aflame. The trigger was pulled and the Arrow shot bye engulfing a Moblin in flame. Another bolt was loaded and the process repeated, until the bodies of the moblins faded into shadow.

"That was it? I was hoping for much more. Anyway, let's continue, The castle is in sight." he then saw something at the Castle Gate. "Hold it, I think I should check up whats there." he rode to the gate

Soros saw the Castle..and noticed two specks in the distance. He narrowed his eyes before getting an arrow and bow ready and aimed it as he made his horse go closer. Friend or Foe...

(No Idea...I'd say Cyclops but I don't remember one in Zelda..so no idea XD)

Kryn followed behind him just a little slower, until he could see what it was. It was definately bigger up close. "Uh.... You may want to slow down." The thing was one huge hulking mass of muscle, there was plate armor and from the helm two horns curved outward. It was a Darknut Captain.

Thorik rode up to the Darknut and waved at it with his gloved hand. He then dismounted "Yo, can I get through, or is there toll?"

Thorik turned back "What was that for man! You do realise Ganon can't control these things now that he and the Legendary Hero sealed eachother. Maybe it might be able to talk and reason. But now you probably ** it off and as much as I love fighting I prefer of both perties are willing to fight." when he was done he turned back to the Darknut "Now, as I was saying, will you let us through?"

Kryn looked at him for a moment "Sure Ganon doesn't control them. But he created them. If he's dead, why are they still here?"

The creature under the helmet laughed and soon the voice that filled the air was cold as ice, and sharp as a daggar in the back "The Soldier is right, Fish, Ganon created us to serve the strongest. Power was ripped from him. Now the strongest controls us." and with that a sword was drawn and the blade swung down at Thorik.

Soros saw who they were now and noticed it was the two people from the village.. He watched the sword go down and smirked slightly. I wonder..how well They will do.' Soros looked at the gate and noticed something..moving. Hmm..

Thorik easily caught the blade in his gauntlet. He then yanked it from it's hand and held it with ease in one hand pointed at him. "If you serve the strongest, then that means I can gain a servant." he then swung the sword in the air with enough force that it broke in half. "What'ya say?"

There was a laugh and he looked at Thorik "You're goo-" it was sileneced by a flaming crossbow bolt to the face. The thing staggared back a step. Then another as another bolt came. And again. And again.

"Thank you for distracting him. I didn't catch your name." Kryn said as the figure fell. "Mines Kryn."

"Thorik" he said disappointed. "I was hoping for a good fight, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. Besides," he said as he fished a belt out of his pocket. it looked like the one the Darknut was wearing "I was maybe planning on showin it this thing, but I guess ya can't cry over spilt milk." he then picked up the Darknut's belt "Two ta go."

Kryn raised his eyebrow at the half Zora then moved past into the ruined city "There are some good Darknuts out there, but I know for the fact that all around here are evil. No questions asked."
