The Kokiri in the last war was under a magical assult and its enchantments were weakened. Or rather They were changed. The Kokiri now Age, but at a slower rate than Hylians. The sage Saria took care of them and they adopted her as their queen and the young deku tree became her advisor. The topographical features of the forest have changed, the trees soon began to grow huge. The paths changed and the children had to find new ways through the forest in order to survive.

7/31/2010 #5 ReportSlinky reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace (Ooc:Exactly the way Soros would've described it if he was here) and held it out to Saria, his hat hiding his bashful eyes. Saria reached out to the necklace and held it "Oh, thank you Slinky." and she gave him a friendly hug and after words she put it around her neck.
"S-so glad you l-like it..." the normally hyper Skull kid stuttered out. Saria frowned and reached under the hand and put her hand on his forehead.
"Hm you're a little warm. Are you feeling alright?" This had the reaction of Slinky jumping about three feet into the air and pulling the hat tighter over his head.
"Y-yes! W-well, I, uh, have m-more work to do, Miss Saria, so I'll j-just go." and with that he sprinted away, with Saria blinking in confusion where she stood.

Slinky had gone to a tree and pulled out his flute and just started to play, a few other skull children came forward and began to dance.
