Types:
Latent: ESP Alices like Mind-reading and other stuff like that.
Technical: Alices where you have to do something, A.K.A. Cooking, Drawing, Inventing.
Somatic: Physical Alices like Super Speed.
Special: Alices that don't fit in anywhere else basically.
Dangerous: Alices that might get out of control or ones that harm people. Well, if the people want someone to be harmed.
Shapes:
Child: Alices where someone only has it when they're young.
Immediate: Always available, but not very powerful.
Intermittent: Only used for a certain amount of time but relatively powerful.
Limitless: Always very powerful but takes a bit of your life away whenever you use it.

Eye Colour: Dark brown that they are almost black
Hair Appearance: Dark brown, shoulder length with the edges curling softly with layered fringe that frames her small face. She usually draws them up into a ponytail.
Overall Appearance: She's short young girl with slender build. Her skin is that of light brown. She has a small button nose and big ears and thus her nickname. Besides her uniform she usually wears sleeveless knee-length dresses with jeans. Her favourite accessories will be beaded bracelets (colourful) and she's always seen wearing head-band which she changes every other day (in terms of colour and patterns). She is not pretty, just pleasant to look at.
Likes: Colour pink, guitar, oranges, sweets, her father and books.
Hates: Bullies, fights, vegetables and spicy food.
Weaknesses: She has communication problems; she talks too fast and stutters when she's nervous.
Strengths: Her strength is her empathy and her gentle nature. She's a hard-worker and a loyal friend.

Overall Personality: She is a very quiet girl and prefers to listen than to talk. It's probably because she has low self esteem and has the feeling that she does not belong. She is a very attentive girl; she will give her best to help others. Her way to portray her feelings if it is too difficult is to write it down and make them real, usually in the form of short sketches.

History: When Ada is three, her mother, Mary, leaves them. Her reason is still unknown but it is hinted that she is trying to protect her family. Ada's father, Grant, loves her dearly and is a very protective father. He is not an Alice user and he vehemently refuses Alice Academy's offer to take his daughter under her wings. Both father and daughter spend almost three years avoiding recruiters from the Academy until he falls ill and in need of medical support. While he stays at the hospital, Ada is left without guardian. She is taken to Alice Academy as she is now the ward of the government.

I was about to and then my brother went and messed up the computer so I couldn't get on. Sorry again. I'm Pheonix, by the way, but you can call me whatever. Phe, Kanes, just about everything (I even have my crush calling me Nixxy... stupid, annoying, loveably cute emo boy Justin...). But can you please refrain from calling me Phe-Phe? It's just... I'm not a dog. So yeah.
I'm considerably calmer than Ava so you don't have to worry about me going spastic like she does sometimes. If anyone would like to know more, just ask! :)

Hair Color: Byzantine, down to her waist, and curls slightly at the bottom. She has straight bangs that hang in front of her eyes most of the time.

Appearance: Aya always wears her uniform. She wears it correctly every day, no button undone. She constantly has a brown bag slung across her shoulder that holds her pencils, paper, and other writing utensils. She's very proud of her hair and brushes it everyday. Her eyebrows are normally hidden by her bangs but, when shown, are thin and average. Her lashes are long and curly, framing big round eyes which sparkle when she laughs. She has a small nose, nothing special. She has full lips that are a cotton-candy pink color. Aya is pretty short but not stocky at all. She's quite lean, but has a bit of muscle from dancing. Her legs are long but her arms are fairly average. Her features are doll-like and fragile looking. Well, Aya actually has the over-all appearance of a life size doll really. Her skin is an alabaster color and, though she is almost always in the sun, she never gets a tan and only occasionally gets sunburned.

Personality:Aya is generally very shy and trusting. She looks up to Mamoru and basically depends on him like an older brother. She's a very easily distracted person. Mitsuakiis her best friend and probably the only one she has ever uttered a bad word to. Still, she trusts him with her life and is consistently very sad whenever they are apart. As you'll be able to tell, she isn't very good with hiding her emotions. She loves to make friends and have fun. She likes to help cheer people up because she claims she doesn't like sadness. Seems to be confused a lot but (well, most of the time) knows a lot more than she lets on. Loves to teach others how to draw and/or dance because she likes to spread the happiness they make her feel. Sometimes uses her Alice to draw up some food or a pet for other people. Has a very long fuse unless it comes to causing Mitsuaki or Mamoru pain or Mitsuaki annoying her. Has learned to hate and love the fact that she can only send other people/animals to fight for her. Is very violent to Mitsuaki if she gets angry at him. Sometimes, others wonder if her trait of being so easily trusting will be her downfall.

History:Aya was born in Gōtsu, Shimane, where her parents themselves grew up. Her parents were adventurers who moved from city to city, state to state, county to country, so she was brought up in many different places. One day, at the age of 6 in Tokyo, her parents left her in the house alone and walked out the door, never to be seen again. It has been confirmed (by Gakuen Alice, Ayaherself, some childhood friends) that they both had Alices. Her mother had the ability to animate whatever she touched and her father could talk to animals. The day after they left, Mitsuaki and Mamoru were sent to take care of her after their parents disappeared too. Their parents were all close friends so it is suspected that they went somewhere together. Since Mamoru was the oldest, he was appointed leader and, since they all had alices, he guided them to Alice Academy, a place he heard about from his father. Mitsuaki is her best-friend, and the person she probably trusts most in the world, even over Mamoru. Mamoru is her older brother figure and the person she is second loyal to. Bet you can guess which person is first.
Um, if anyone wants to be Mamoru or Mitsuaki, just ask so I can send you their details. Make any changes you like, just as long as they aren't too big. If you figure out a better alice for either too, go ahead and change it. My brain kinda went "Dud" with those two's Alices so... yeah. If no one wants to, I'll do them myself. Shouldn't be too hard.
And Cursor? Don't worry. This is only my second time being in a rpg. It's not that hard, just write whatever flows with the story that we make. Just have fun, 'kay?

You may call me Ada or Chie (or maybe Sakura-Chan like what my crazy guy classmates call me. I am still not sure why they call me that.) Cursor seems a tad bit weird. Anyway, I edited my character profile, I am using the longer version because it seems unfair if I'm using the shorter version and you are not. I'm comfortable with only using one character, I don't want to mess up everything since this is my first time trying RPG (writing). And thanks for the compliment for my story, it is supposed to be a four chapters story, I don't know why it drags on. There is moment when I actually hate the story with passion, okay, out of topic.
I will do my best and am looking forward for the RPG to start.
10/18/2010 #6 ReportOkay then Ada! You didn't have to edit your profile, but thanks for being... ah... polite... I think that's the word. Sorry, I'm a bit frazzled from homework. You can be as out of topic as you want while OOC (out of character) and yeah, most people prefer using only one character. I only know a few people who use more than one. Me being one of those few. I promise I'll do my best too and sorry about how long it's taking to start. We should have at least four people for it to start so we have to wait. Hope they come soon!

Out of curiosity, Phoenix, since you are from the US, I'm just wondering, are the stereotypes found in school (usually portrays in movies/series/ books) really exist? From where I come from, the possibility of such stereotypes are close to zero. Certain individuals stand out but that's just it, you're human just like me. Well, pointless question. I hope you and Ava will not be mad at me for using the Character Apps thread to ask you this. A small insignificant suggestion, maybe starting up a chat thread as not to mess up this thread. :)
I'm wandering what's your future plan for this, how about the original characters from GA, will they be included in this RPG? (I know, I'm an annoyingly curious person, just so you know) :)

10/19/2010 #8 ReportNah, I know a lot more annoyingly curious people than you *cough*Ava*cough*! Advertising would be great by the way, I'll probably add a little something at the end of the next chapter in my story.
About the stereotypes... Well, it depends. There are some schools that have them, some that don't, and some that have them mildly like my current school. Only about one-third of people from my school use stereo-types. Like, for example, if I wore all black (plus I have natural black hair), some kid might ask me if I'm goth, but most would just shrug it off and wouldn't care if I was or wasn't. But I've also went to a school that you had to be very careful about how you acted and what you wore. There are cliques EVERYWHERE but most are just loose groups of friends who have mostly the same habits. There are a few (like me) who don't really fit in with any one group and have friends in a lot.
I hope that answers your question. We're not mad at all and we were going to get to that. Sometime. I should probably go do that right now before I forget...
Original characters from GA? Well, maybe like the VERY youngest. Like Youichi and Aoi. I prefer to have the Academy slightly better and a safer place but if someone wants to have trouble with the system, just tell everyone in the thread I am seriously about to put up and we'll put it in somehow. Er,yeah. By the way, you don't have to put the -Ada if you don't want to, it's just something me and Ava do. Ava and I. Whatever.
