Over the course of history, two grimoires have each brought a Hume to save Ivalice. The Gran Grimoire brought Marche, leader of Clan Nutsy, and the Grimoire of the Rift brought Luso, the second leader of Clan Gully. After the turmoil settled in the world, they just... dissapeared.

Now a new conflict is has risen in the very threads that weave the reality of Ivalice. The crystals have grown dull or been destroyed until there is very little that can be salvaged. The Clan Wars have grown even more violent. And the Judges are vanishing...
