Appearance- Tall, athletic, passes easily for a man, shoulder length straight brown hair, grey eyes, tanned from the sun, slightly pugish face, two silver teeth. Clothing/Weapons-Blue headscarf, off white shirt, black britches, brown tunic, black boots, belt, 2 flintlock 2 swords. Several tattoos.
A bit o history- Married off to a strict missionary pastor at the age of 19, moved to the Caribbean with him. Accidentally shot him along with a prostitute. Has been pirate ever since, travelling the world and frequently running into Jack Sparrow.

Nationality: (not quite sure what you mean by this) Welsh (they had Welsh back then, correct?)
Occupation: Smuggler (do you count this as pirate?)
Occupation Description: A Smuggler is exactly what it sounds like; one who smuggles illegal goods past the British armies. They also sell the items to buyers who are willing to pay a handsome price for them.
Appearance: very tall, easily six feet, if not more. Has shaggy, jet black hair that ends at his ears, but is shaved entirely in the back. His skin is just a shade darker than pale, and his eyes are a mixture of a chocolate brown and a light hazel. He has a squarely cut jaw and a narrow face, along with one gold-encased tooth and the pinky on his right hand missing. He has two golden rings on his thumb and forefinger of his left hand, and had a tatoo of a rope circling his neck, indicating handing, for once he survived it long enough to be cut down by a fellow Smuggler. He's very slender, but some muscles buldge in his arms and calves.
Usual Attire: a gray 1740's greatcoat, a thin white shirt, black trousers, and a dark brown, pirate style hat.
Usual Weaponry: rapier and scabbard, tucked away by his side. He also carries a revolver, and a small blade tucked beneath his arm for needed protection.
Bit 'o History: John was originally brought up to heir a large estate just beyond Port Royale. Nearest the age of fifteen, his family was found by a group of Smugglers. They offered the family goods in return for "nothing". When his parents were foolish enough to believe this, they snatched John away in the night and brought him up with tooth and claw. Because of this, he is violent and doesn't trust people easily.
Personality: charming, violent, un-trusting, dark, mysterious, sarcastic (as all my characters are).

Appearence:shoulder-length black hair and grey eyes.she's skinny but wiry and has a tattoo of a black cat on her right shoulder
Clothing/weapons: grey shirt and black tunic,grey mid-thigh stockings and a black short skirt and black boots,also wears a black chocker. Carries a katana and two pistols. Also carries kunai knives and shurikens.
Bit o history:her parents died when she was young and she lived with a thief gang for awhile. She first joined a pirate crew when she was 13,and enjoyed it,joining any crew that would pay her. She's currently in the caribbean,after working with a group of smugglers.

Appearance- Pale white skin, dirty blond hair(usually kept in a high ponytail by her red bandanna) and dark blue eyes. She is very pretty and a little too pretty for her occupations.
Clothing/Weapons- She wears a black and brown, half sleeve peasant dress. Her black boots are hidden under the bottom of the skirt. Carries a ridged dagger hidden in her boot and a pistol with her at all times.
A bit o history- Gwen grew up in Norway and was told that pirates were not to be dealt with. Foolishly at a young age she ran away with a young pirate boy. When he was killed she was stranded on Tortuga. She vowed to never fall for a pirate man again but this promise is slowly beginning to crumble.
Personality- Sarcastic, tough, violent, not easily manipulated, not one to trust right away

Clothing/weapons- she wears a longish once nice green dress (torn at the bottom) and always carries a gun and a sword sometimes a dagger.
Abit o history- Magdalena is Jack's little sister, they get on well and share a sorta connection in which sometimes they can feel each others pain. Magdalena never got on with her father and is still mourning after losing her young brother (Leo) to pnuemonia. she takes on a role in the ship which doesn't really have a name (Can't call it first mate, can't call it captain)

A bit o history- Everett was born in London, and at the age of seven, he was kidnapped by a pirate crew and brought to Tortuga, where he was raised from then on. He was a natural at most things they taught him, and at 19 set out to become a pirate. When he managed to secure his first job, he caused an accident that caused the ship to sink, the only survivors being he and the captain, who henceforth swore to avenge his ship and crew. From then on, Everett took jobs, and left them, and took more jobs, and he recently acquired a ship of his own, in a drunken gamble.

Ethnicity/Species/Origin: She's a half Russian, half Hispanic.

Physical Description: deep, emerald green eyes that seem to have something mysterious in them, wildfire red hair that falls down to her hips in insane curls (think like Natasha Romanoff in Ironman) and wears pants, a billowy white shirt, boots, and her hair down. She looks a little like a pirate, and has the smirk of one.She can be all fussy with her hair and clothes and look all fancy when she wants to, but usually chooses not to. Usually has red lipstick and black eyeliner on. Multiple brands up her arms, a few tattoos, one of a dragon across her back, another of ivy wrapping around her arm, a P brand.
Personality: In a word, she is outspoken. She doesn't cry a lot and has this idea that unless she trusts the person and they trust her, tears are a sign of weakness. She squeals when she's excited, and is a force to fear when she's angry. She's really good at getting revenge. She insults and pulls down people who she knows can take it, and takes others under her protection if they can't. And when she protects someone, they are protected. She's usually funny, protective, happy, and teases people a lot. She is really stubborn, hardworking, and has her own outlook on life, which is basically "Life sucks. Live it." She's a bit of a tomboy, but she's okay with her girly side. Most of the time. She's very sarcastic, but also is empathetic, though she doesn't show that side of her to most people. Confident, independent, and very loyal/loving. To some, she's the obnoxious outspoken girl. To others, she's an annoying pirate who needs to be taken down. To the rest, she's a friend. She can be very, very insensitive at times. Doesn't rely on others to do things for her. However, beneath all of her obnoxiousness and attitude and protectiveness, she's very wounded inside. She's been through a lot, and isn't sure who to trust. One more thing-she is a bit of an insomniac. She's very bad at getting to sleep, and if she's not in bed, she's up on the rooftops. She's extremely cold when she needs to, has no qualms about killing.
Backstory: She really doesn't like to talk about it. Basically, she used to work as a maid for this one place. Then, she was kidnapped when pirates ransacked her home. She was taken captive and you name it, it probably happened to her on that ship. Eventually, she engaged in voodoo magic and killed them all. She took over the ship, crashed it, and went to live with Calypso/Tia. She taught her, and Chess learned.
Weapons: Voodoo magic, knives, swords.
Strengths/Weaknesses: She's a very good fighter, a very good liar, very good at voodoo magic and getting people to listen. She's a little overconfident, very stubborn, and has a grand total of one opinion about a person
