Bio Fav: Stories . Authors
I'm not a writer, but I love to read. I have a very tolerant husband and three grown children, and an amazing new grandson. I spend my day working in a middle school library.
I lived for many years in So. Calif. but now live in the beautiful Puget Sound. I love when writers do their research in their stories to accurately portray the area.
Some things I’ve learned living around Seattle:
*The rain is what we put up with for living in such an amazing place. (That and working at Boeing or Microsoft.)
*If you can’t handle the weather, you’ll move. It seems to be pretty much a love it or hate it kind of thing.
*We probably all own several umbrella; we rarely use them. A hoodie or hat is so much more practical. It doesn’t rain that hard most of the time.
*The weatherman is never right. How does he even keep his job?
*A great day, with that incredible blue sky and you can see Mt. Rainer, Mt. Baker and the Olympic Mountains makes up for a lot of gray days.
*There are really coffee places everywhere. Really!
