What can I say about myself?

My name is Cassandra and I live in Belgium. I have three brothers (all older than me) and I live with my parents. I like being at home, but I certainly can't say 'no' to a nice evening out with friends. I currently study psychology, but that hasn't prevented me from writing fanfiction (luckily - because I can't live without this site!). My hobbies...well, if you look at the list below, you'll see that I spent a lot of time withing TV. I don't mind, though, because I love following series.

I listen to music a lot, mostly when I write, and if you are wondering what kind of music... These are the artists or bands that I like: Joshua Radin, Joshua James, Greg Laswell, Band of Horses, Death Cab for Cutie, The Hush Sound, Yellowcard, Patrick Park, Howie Day, Mika, Jimmy Eat World, VAST, Das Pop and much, much more!

These are the tv-shows and books I am absolutely addicted to:

My favorite show is MERLIN! I adore it, I am addicted to it, I can't live without it! Okay, maybe I can live without it, but my life would start getting boring should I no longer have it. I love the relationship between Merlin and Arthur, it is what makes the show work so wonderful. I am also a big fan of Morgana. My only wish was that the writers of Merlin could see the dynamic she has with Merlin... They should really get more scenes together (not romantic!). My favorite pairing in the land of fanfiction is Merlin/Morgana, followed by Arthur/Gwen. My guilty pleasure is Merthur.

And then there is DOCTOR WHO. Lately, my fondness for this show has grown exponentially. Matt Smith is brilliant as the Doctor. He can be childish, naive and adorable, but at other momemts there is something to him...something dark and mesmerizing. Honestly, I love his version of the Doctor. Then there are Amy and Rory. Who doesn't love them? Though Donna remains one of my favorite companions.

I'm a big fan of SUPERNATURAL but I haven't written anything anymore. I guess I have moved on from that fandom. My favorite character remains Dean and I love seeing him play a dad or a protective big brother. My second favorite character is Castiel and I think that is partially because Misha Collins is such a funny guy. I'm eagerly looking forward to the new season. Purgatory will be very interesting and I know a show like this can handle all the awesomeness.

My fourth favorite series (at this moment) is WHITE COLLAR. The characters have this amazing chemistry and the only reason I watch is because of Neal and Peter. The two work perfectly together. After a while, I started bonding with the other characters as well and I adore Mozzie. Season four had some brilliant moments so far and I am looking forward to seeing more of Neal's past. I just know this show won't disappoint!

One of my favorite books is the HARRY POTTER-series. Sirius, Lupos and Hermione are my favorite characters! I hope that one day, I'll be able to write a story for it, but there are already so many good stories out here that I just love to read and read and read. My favorite pairing is Ron/Hermione and sometimes Draco/Hermione. The last pairing depends on my mood of the day :)

I have recently discovered the books written by Cassandra Clare and I absolutely love them! I adore THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS-series, like I adore Jace (who doesn't?) and Clary. My favorite couple is Magnus/Alec and Jace/Clary. These two pairs are simply meant for each other! I have also read the first book of THE INFERNAL DEVICES, a clockwork Angel, and I really liked it as well. Will and Jem are hilarious together, but I feel like I still need to warm up to Tessa. I like her better in the second book (which I haven't finished reading yet... I know... I am a horribly slow reader!)

Favorite movie at the time? THOR! But not because of Thor although Chris Hemsworth was born to play that character. I seriously think I'm in love with Loki. He's such an amazing, layered character and Tom Hiddleston portrays him wonderfully. I just keep rewatching his scenes and I keep reading stories involving him around here. That's how I discovered Loki/Tony. Never thought about it before, but it's my new worshipped couple! I don't always enjoy Thor/Loki. It depends on how it is written and if it is portrayed as believable. I tried my own Thor/Loki story (twice even), but I still prefer them more as brothers.

And now we have the awesomeness of THE AVENGERS! I have seen that movie five already and I must say... I love it (otherwise I wouldn't be watching it so much, eh?). I adore it. It's fantastic, great, perfect, astonishing, suburb, etc. With every viewing, I discover something to the story-line, the characters, the surroundings, etc. I don't think I will ever tire of this movie. It's hard to accept the possibility that Joss Whedon can succeed a second time, although I have much faith in him. Can't wait to see our favorite heroes united for a second time in 2015!

There is also X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. I believe it deserve mentioning as well. I fell in love with all those characters a while ago. Charles, Erik and especially Raven. How awesome Raven in that movie? Although she gets less points in my book for leaving Charles on that beach! I hope to one day write a fic for this fandom...if Thor/The Avengers will ever set me free.

HUNGER GAMES rocked my world. I read the books first and I was very exited to see it translated onto a big screen. I wasn't sure if it could work, but my God! That's one of the best adaptions I've seen in a long time. Only small details were left out and even though some adjustments were made, it still resembled the book so much. I loved Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss (she is turning into one of my favorite actresses out there) and I can't wait to see her in the second movie.

Other shows I like or have liked that are now done: Community, Misfits, Criminal Minds, Alphas, Hollow Crown (BBC), Torchwood, Game of Thrones, Glee, Chuck, House, Charmed, Buffy, Angel, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, Fringe, Dexter, Lie To Me, Sherlock (BBC), Being Human (BBC), Pillars of the Earth, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Pushing Diasies, Robin Hood (BBC), Carnivale and much, much more! (I told you I watch a lot of TV) :)

English isn't my strongest language (Dutch is my motherlanguage), but I do my best to avoid spelling-mistakes and I check every sentence for grammar-mistakes!
