My name is Joan Wagner and I used to have a user name of Joanie the Pillow Puncher; but I thought I would like to use Princess Mishawaka instead. I live in Mishawaka, IN and the name comes from an Indian Princess who was married to an Indian Chief Osceola (many moons ago). Their love story was so precious that when they died they were burried together. Now Mishawaka is a city and Osceola is a town and they are located side by side just outside of South Bend and the University of Notre Dame.

You probably wonder why I used the name pillow puncher? Well, when I used to write reviews I would get upset at (Victoria, Edward or Tanya) and I would write, " I am punching my pillow with their face pictured on it". That is the only way many of the writers knew me; because of that phrase. I got tired of it though. My pillow got tired of being punched too. Now I am a Princess and that suits me so much better.

I live with my husband of 20 years. My children are grown!! YAY!! and my youngest grandchild is 15 yrs old; so I am able to focus on "me" now, instead of completely focusing on my family. I am happy at this time in my life; and reading has always been, and still is, my dream. Just to read all day and into the night is a luxury that I would never have considered at any time in my life, that is until... NOW.
