I'm a senior in college majoring in English, and fanfiction has turned into a kind of hobby for me. I adore writing, and since I also adore so many of the characters that other talented people create, I like to take a break from my own universes to play in others' sometimes.

I go through phases fairly quickly, but my newest loves are BBC's Sherlock and Doctor Who. I also like nerdy things like superheroes, steampunk, Star Wars, Shakespeare, and the classics, though I obviously haven't explored too many fandoms yet. I believe in knowing something inside and out before you write it, so I stick to universes I'm completely comfortable with ("obsessed with at the time" may be more technically correct).

I do not write or read slash pieces, so don't look for anything of that nature here.

Since I am in college, fanfic takes the back burner when I'm in school. I write more on my off semester so be expecting fluctuations in my updating speeds depending. Other things are much more important when I'm actually busy, school being only one: my large family is incredibly important to me as is my religion, sleep, and a social life beyond the characters in my imagination. But once I start something, I'll do my best to finish it as quickly as the muses permit without dragging it out unbearably long or worse, quitting.
